Summary: Prehistoric Romance
Review: Someone wrote that this romance between two prehistoric people is similar to our own time.Well that is so true. From the get go,Ayla has been abused and she finally finds love and kindness in a man who knows what it is all about. So it is fiction,so it is not correct in some of its details,so what,it is a story that is refreshing and realestic and makes a very good read. Each of her previous books are seperate stories of the same,or diffrent chapters of the same book. Many Authors write this way,Wilbur Smith is an example of this. But Where is No.5.Love this but please dont stop now Ms.Auel

Summary: Great Series
Review: I love all the books in this series. However I must point out that I also found the repitition found in this volume somewhat irritating. The love sceanes were monotonous and the content was too repetitive. However the story-line (when something new did happen) was good. I am eager for the next. How long are you going to keep me wait Jean? If anyone knows when e-mail me at UnaCeleste@aol.com

Summary: Jean M Auel
Review: I loved all of the books about Earth's Children. I cannot wait for the next instalment.

Summary: When are You writing the Number 5 ?
Review: Mrs. Auel has been so elegant in her descriptions that she could be a poet, so interesting in her scientifical explanations that she could be an anthropologist, so capturing in her comments that she results only FANTASTIC. When are You publishing the following one ?

Summary: Not as good as the first two
Review: This book just dragged on and on. Even the sex scenes were repetitive and monotonous. I felt really cheated when the book ended just as it looked like it could get interesting again. I am wondering if the next book will ever be written, as long as it's been since this one.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good series, but seriously flawed
Review: Ms. Auel's editor should be reprimanded for so much repetition. Plains of Passage was at least a 50% rehash of the first 3 books. I would like a next volume in the series--there were lots of threads to resolve. But this time without the repetition from the earlier books including the 2-3pp long descriptions of climatic conditions, and the 2-3 pp long scenes of what amounts to soft-core porn.

Summary: Slow start but great story
Review: After you make it through the first 10 chapters the book gets way more interesting. Jean Aeul could have cut these chapter and condensed them into three. Grass and antelope really don't keep a reader interested that long. I started Plains of Passage many times and never made it through the first few chapters were sooo boring. But finally I bought the audio book and after about Chapter 10 I couldn't put it down.

Summary: Plains of Passage
Review: All of Jean Auel's books have been very intertaining. Plains of Passage was one of my favorites. I just wish that we could get Jean to write a few more real soon! Best wishes from Alaska.

Summary: How much longer must we wait for #5?
Review: I love this series and am waiting to hear news of the next release. The Plains of Passage was as discriptive and exciting to read as the previous three, but I have to know...what happens next Ms. Auel? Please feed our need!
