Rating: Summary: READ ME Review: This is a must read for fantisy fans. Very evolved plot and characters. Plus the sequals to this book are as well written as the first. This means LOT'S of reading
Rating: Summary: Book 1 is good, Books 2 thru whatever spiral downward Review: Book 1 is good. However after book4, I really wanted all thecharacters to just pack it in. The world is heading for ruin and thecharacters are getting into petty arguments and not cooperating. Oh my the world is ending and I have to do the laundry again, whaaaaa! Sheesh! Please end this series.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ!!!!!!!!! Review: this book is great I can't wait to get the second book. I read untile 11:00 pm from 8:00 solid.I loved the plot. I've read so many fanisy books but this is the best I didn't know a good book untile I read thi
Rating: Summary: Surpasses Tolkien and all others as best ever!! Review: This book (and the entire series) is better than any book byany author I have ever read. Robert Jordan's imagination and scope areinfinite in this world. The characters become so personal to you that you walk and talk with them every moment while you are reading or just waiting to start reading again. Now is the best time to start the greatest series ever because you won't have to wait for the next book to come out because the next 6 are alreaady out! Anyone who calls themselves a reader of books especially fantasy HAS to read this series. Will go down in history as the besst ever.
Rating: Summary: I had to reread to catch every detail. Wonderful characters! Review: To beable to catch every detail I read it at least 3 times. The characters seemed to be real and I felt like I got to know them.
I had to read the sequels. Can't wait till the next book in the series so good.
Rating: Summary: This is great Review: This is perhaps the best book I have read all year. Mr.Jordan reminds me of a young Orson Scott Card with his ability to weave a tale so warm in color and yet as tightly bound as any fabric
Rating: Summary: THE EYE OF THE WORLD IS DEFINATELY A MUST READ! Review: The Eye of the world was recommended to me by a friend that said that it was the best book that he'd ever read. I have to agree. It grabs you with iths complex plot and doesn't let you down until you've finished the book. Even then, you'll want to run right out and get the next book in the series. The book was so good, that I would read so long into the night, that I was late for school the next day. I vehemently recommend this. If you liked Tolkien, you'll love Jordan
Rating: Summary: Did you like Tolkien? Well, you'll love Robert Jordan! Review: The Eye of the World is an EXCELLENT book for all those who love fantasy, particularly those who cried at the end of the Lord of the Rings series, like myself. From the very beginning of the series, it is obvious Jordan has created a masterpiece comparable to Tolkien. The book grabs the reader's attention right away by being intentionally confusing. You can't wait to discover what will happen. Each book is just as good as the previous one and fans find themselves counting the days until the next one comes out. Jordan has obviously put a lot of time and effort into his writing; the books are filled with detailed descriptions, well-rounded characters, and a fascinating, intriguing plot. These books were so good that I finished all seven in one summer. They are definitely page-turners
Rating: Summary: The start of a riviting saga. Review: Jordan rivits you to the stacks in anticipation of the next in the series with a forbiden magic as humanity plummets toward the final battle
Rating: Summary: By far, one of the best books I have ever read!!! Review: So much has been said about this book, it almost compares with Tolkien. It is a book you must read, follow Rand, Mat, and Perrin as they struggle with themselves and the dark lord
