Summary: Path breaking Read
Review: A fresh insight used explosively to generate one of the most entertaining reads ever,

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not the usual sci-fi Crichton but still an excellent read
Review: Didn't see the movie with Demi and Michael Douglas. Didn't want to see a movie about sexual harassment. Didn't really even want to read the book, though I have grown to love Michael Crichton's work. But I kinda ran out of books to read (for the moment), so I picked up this one.... and it was a great story, complete with lots of corporate intrigue, lots of law information, and great characters, though I still can't picture Michael Douglas in the role (he seems more like the predator to me). Now I may even have to see the movie....

Summary: Sexual harassment and corporate politics.
Review: This novel is centered on corporate politics in a high-tech computer firm in Seattle. A high level executive in the company has been passed over for promotion by a woman from another division in the firm. This woman, with whom he had a relationship ten years earlier when she wasn't a part of the company, sexually harasses him. He now finds himself in a serious predicament. How can he keep his current position, how can he address the issue of harassment by a female superior, and can he find the underlying political reasons why he has been placed in this situation? The novel also includes some interesting discussions about the use of virtual reality in obtaining computer data. There is an interesting statistic given in the novel. About 5% of all the reported cases of sexual harassment are made by men with respect to female supervisors. That doesn't sound like much. Yet, only about 5% of top-level executives in the U. S. today are women. This suggests that the rate of harassment by women is the same as for men. Sexual harassment is about misuse of power and is independent of the gender of the person with the power.

Summary: crichton's best yet
Review: how does he do it? its a book that has nothing to do with any sci-fi topic(nothing!), which is my favorite topic, and yet it keeps me hooked from beginning to end. crichton's narrative MUST be one of the best of all time...

Summary: Phenomenal Book! Michael Crichton's Best!
Review: Somehow Michael Crichton just seems to keep me addicted to his writing. After reading The Anromeda Strain I said to myself "wow that was the best book I've ever read" Then I read Sphere and said "That's Michael's best." Now I read Disclosure. What an amazing book! Crichton develops the characters phenomenally. I was never bored during this book. Never! Unbelievable writing. Hands down Crichton's best novel. Once again he taclkes the risky subject, and turns it into an excellent novel. A must read for any Crichton fan! The best!

Summary: A suspenceful novel whose story changes at every corner
Review: Michael Crichton has done it again, his controversial novel combines a much disputed topic with a new approach. Disclosure contains an exellant blend of good research and thought stimulation. Therefore, I assure you that this novel will keep even the toughest critic at a loss for words.

Summary: MICHAEL CHRICHTON EXPOSES THE UGLY TRUTH AGAIN
Review: I liked this book because of the way Crichton describes the way sexual harassment suits are biased towards women, even though some argue that they are treated unfairly. I believe this, to a certain degree, but would you ever think a man would claim that a woman sexually harassed him? Enough said. Read this book and you will understand what I'm trying to say.

Summary: "Disclosure" from a rating one to ten I give it perfect ten.
Review: Disclosure is like a movie all in one. It basically has everything you want in a book. It has romance, drama, adventure all in one. It is very spine tingling, excitement. It has that effect where you're sitting on the edge of your chair waiting for the next event to happen.I personally think this book is full of irony. The setting is based on an everday average manufacturing company called Digicom. The author uses vigorous detail to the very point where you can picture it, but that's all I can tell. You'll have to read it yourself if you want to figure out what happens. BYE

Summary: An intriguing & thorough look at a topical corporate battle
Review: I just finished reading it--couldn't put it down. This is one of the most realistic and in-depth looks at one of today's most serious problems in the business world. It should be a MUST READ for all business students and managers going through sensitivity training.
