Summary: Hysterical!
Review: This book was great. I love the author in general, but in this book he combined humor, Lwaxana, and Q, along with a little romance, to create a great read from start to finish.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I laughed until I cried
Review: This has to be the greatest Q book, even better than Q-squared. Laxawana is so funny when she gets the Q powers, and she is beating up Q all over the ship. The crew members even get used to people walking outside the ship. It becomes very hilarious. I loved this book so much, you have to read it.

Summary: The funniest Star Trek book ever!
Review: This has to be, without a doubt the funniest Star Trek book ever. Peter David is my favourite ST writer, and I love all his books, especially 'Imzadi'. I think that and Q-in-law should definately have been made into ST:TNG episodes. My favourite part of the book was when Lwaxana was chasing Q through the ship, because it's great to see him get what he deserves for once! There were also some good scenes with Riker and Troi. The other story, about the Tizarin wedding was also well written, and the two stories balanced each other well. Buy it if you like your Star Trek books with humour, Q, and lots of character interaction. Don't buy it if you hate Q, you like 'serious' Star Trek and if you like reading about the Enterprise getting blown up. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Excellent Next Generation Fun
Review: This is a light-hearted Star Trek novel, telling the story of the romance between Lwaxana Troi and Q. It would likely be confusing to those unfamiliar with the TNG episodes about Q and the episodes about Lwaxana. For those who have seen them, however, this is a funny romp. The ending seems to happen too quickly, but is satisfying.

Summary: Need a break from the Borg and Dominion War?
Review: This is a whimsical story which gives Star Trek fans a break from some of the more "serious" villians the Enterprise crew faces. Even though Q is omnipotent, he's fun to have around and I couldn't help but laugh out loud at some scenes in this book.

This is also a good book for anyone who enjoys trek, but isn't an expert on the continuity, b/c Q In Law is for the most part a stand alone story w/ minimal referances to other story lines.

As another reveiwer mentioned, this tale has more sexual overtones than your average Star Trek story, but it isn't overdone. I gained a little bit more insight to Wesley Crusher's fanatasy life than I would have liked, but other than that its a great story.

Summary: THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN
Review: THIS IS IN MY OPINION, THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN. This is the most moving and funniest book about the two most powerful characters in Star Trek History: Q and Lwaxana Troi. My three favorite parts are where Worf says " I, for one, would not like to have you angry with me." to Lwaxana. And where Lwaxana says "Not now dear, Mother's chopping some wood." And finally where Deanne says to Wesley "Obviously, you unwrapped her." So I'll leave you with those little teasers and hope that you'll buy the book and join me in laughing at the greatest book ever written.

Summary: The best!
Review: This is no doubt the best Star Trek book i have read, and I have read over 75 of them! I would highly recommend this for all Star Trek fans, especially those who would like to see Q take on Lwaxxaa Troi, Ruler of the Fifth House...........

Summary: The best Peter David has written, better than New Frontier
Review: This is THE book for all David fans, the comedy is top notch. This is the fastest book I have ever read unable to put it down for the briefest of moments. If you have ever wanted Q to be caught in a cat and mouse situation, place this in your cart right now, there will be no disapointment for any Star Trek fan.

Summary: This one is good
Review: This story will keep you reading from start to end, brilliant, it will leave you full of the question why can't Star Trek run as long as Day's of our life.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fun and entertaining
Review: This was a fun, entertaining, and, er... explosive Star Trek book. The Enterprise plays host to a Tizarin wedding between two rival families, Lwaxana Troi arrives as a Federation ambassador, and just when you thought it was gonna be boring, Q shows up for the party. Peter David is an amazing author (the best of all the Star Trek novel writers in my not-so-humble opinion), not only because of the humour he incorporates, but for being brave enough to team up the formidable Lwaxana Troi and the troublesome Q. As you can imagine, some of the dialogue is fantastic. The writing is brilliant throughout and the characters are just as they should be. This is one heck of a novel, and definitely one of those that should have been made into an episode. (Q getting chased across the Enterprise by Lwaxana in a suit of armour? - I rest my case). OK, maybe it isn't quite so great as "Imzadi", but hey, it's fun to read, original and full of non-stop action. What more couldja want?
