Review: This exciting first book in the Deathlands Saga is classic. As I reread the prologue, it is amazing at how the author captured the possibilities of probable futures. The story unfolded, and captured the reader at every turn. If you have read other Deathland books before, you must read this one even if this means going to a used bookstore or asking a friend to borrow it. Ryan Cawdor is riding with the Trader, and, well I won't spoil the rest. It is a must read

Summary: Where it all began
Review: this is number one in the deathlands series, which is still going strong at number 60. Within this book is were all the main characters are brought to life for the first time. although this book was actually written by two different authors i think that once you pick this book you will be wanting to read the second book before midnight!!!! All in all this is pure sc fi adventure
