Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another great read from Child and Preston
Review: I never cease to be enjoyed by these authors stories. The only problem with this book is its length. It could have used an extra 50 or so pages to further develop the characters...but it was impossible to put down. Mal Hatch didn't seenm the type to stand up to a crazed bunch of treasure hunters, but the ending, especially the visuals of the channel crossing in hurricane conditions, is classic for these authors. It didn't disappoint and is well worth the few hours it will take to finish.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Totally gripping. Preston & Child at their best.
Review: A real killer of a tale. Grabs you right off the bat and doesn't let up. Pirates, treasure, intrigue, danger: What more could you want in a story? All this and a killer twist in the end. A stunning read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A MUST READ
Review: I couldn't put this book down. I was hooked from page one. This is Preston and Child at their very best. The characters are well developed and easy to understand. The dialogue is not confusing considering all the technical terms used. I would recomend this book to any one looking for a fun read.

Summary: Preston & Lincoln at their Best!
Review: After reading the first paragraph, I couldn't put this book down. I finished the entire book in one night. Before I knew it, the sun was up, and it was time to go to work. Don't open this book unless you have twelve hours to read it straight through because you won't want to put it down.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Un-put-downable.
Review: Fantastic! Once again, Preston & Child have given us a gripping, imaginative page-turner.

I "discovered" them after a brief mention of "Relic" in some obscure sci-fi magazine when the book was still in hardcover, before it was even considered as a movie (which should never have been made, in my opinion-- didn't live up to the book). I've kept up with them ever since, and I haven't been disappointed. I anxiously await "Riptide" on the big screen, and I hope it's better than the first attempt...

READ THIS BOOK! You will love it!! Very highly recommended, as are their other three: "Relic", "Reliquary", and "Mount Dragon", all available in paperback.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Typical gripping Child/Preston fare!
Review: I enjoyed this book! These two fellows have a fun style, mixing both gripping suspense and intelligent humor. This one was unique in topic if a little cliched in general storyline. The descriptions were fabulous and they have a definite gift for intrigue and admittedly they terrify me on occasion. Good read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One outstanding read. Couldn't put it down.
Review: I loved this book from beginning to end. Lots of action, good details (but not too much of them) and a genuine good yarn. I've already bought 3 more copies to give as gifts. Strongly recommended.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: EXCELLENT*SUSPENSFUL*EXCITING
Review: Just like Relic, Reliquary and Mount Dragon, this book did NOT disappoint. I loved this book and couldn't put it down! Great summer read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Suspense, intrigue and high seas piracy.
Review: It is not surprising that the film rights have already been sold for RIPTIDE. It is a fascinating thriller filled with the best elements of mystery, horror and action-adventure -- making it a book with very wide appeal. The historic basis of the book is a fascinating tale in itself, but was never quite this colorful (or gory, or melodramatic!).

Highly entertaining and sure to give you an exciting adventure that you will remember for a long time to come.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, but I expected more.
Review: Althought this was an entertaining book, it was not on a par with the authors' prior efforts. It did however keep me interested the entire way.
