Summary: The book was wonderful and really funny!
Review: "Calling on Dragons" was a great book. The entire series is. I highly reccomend it. It is easy reading and really funny. Wrede pokes fun at different fairy tales while telling a great story with a page-turning plot. Read it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another perfect "enchanted" novel!
Review: "Could the story get any better?" you ask. It did! Cimorene and Mendanbar are fighting those wizards again, but this time it gets tuffer to beat them. I recomend you buy TALKING WITH DRAGONS at the same time though, if you can't stand suspense! This book ties in action with fantasy wonderfully!

Summary: A good book in a great series!
Review: A plot against the dragons . . . a plot against the Enchanted Forest! Those horible wizards have really done it this time! Wreaking havoc wherever they go, the wizards have attacked the King's castle in the Enchanted Forest! If you have read the earlier books, this will certainly keep the excitement going for you. If you haven't, read them first. As we continue on with Princess Cimorene as the new queen of the Enchanted Forest, a dastardly deed has been committed by the wizards! They have stolen the King's sword, which is tied into the Forest's magic! A quest to save King Mendanbar's sword (and kingdom) is on! With crazy sideplots (such as rabbits turned into donkeys), this adventure will keep you tied up! Read it!

Summary: Wonderful book, wonderful series!
Review: All of the Enchanted Forest Chronicles books sparkle with fun and imagination. They are all great! The characters seem alive, each have their own personality. Patricia Wrede creates a fantastical world full of mythical creatures and ingenious magic and spells. The whole series is definately worth reading!

Summary: Breathless
Review: All the chronicles of these four books are just too hard to get away from. I read them and I just can't stop. After Calling on Dragons I just had to know what was going to happen to King Mendanbar! Trust me. If you like Fantasy, you'll love these four books!

Summary: The Enchanted Forest Chronicles is the BEST book I have read
Review: Although Calling on Dragons isn't the best book in the series, I certainly enjoyed it. My personal favorite of the series is "Dealing With Dragons" but "Calling on Dragons" is well worth reading.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Magical reading
Review: Although I didn't read the first two books in the tilogy, I was hooked on the first page of Calling on Dragons. Morwen leads a hard life as a witch and owner of not one but nine talking cats. Her life only gets harder when she; a six-foot, blue, talking donkey; a magician named Telemain; Queen Cimorene; two of Morwen's cats; and Kazul, King of the Dragons set off on the task of retrieving the sword of the Enchanted Forest. Along the way, they encounter spells, fire witches, wizards, and mud, which make their expedition difficult. Will they succeed and live to tell the tale?

Summary: this is arealy great book
Review: anyone who likes fantasy books that are funny and have a tough heroine will love this book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Witty and Just Fun to Read
Review: Dealing was Cimorene's book. Searching was Mendanbar's book. Talking was Daystar's book and Calling is everyone's favorite witch, Morwen's book.

The Dragon King, Kazul (even though she's female. To have two names for the same job is just confusing) is missing! And of course it's the wizards who have done the doing and are burning the Enchanted Forest with their staffs. It's up to Cimorene, Kazul, Morwen, Morwen's feline friends, Telemain, and a blue flying donkey with overlarge wings who used to be a rabbit to find her and stop the wizards!

This book is just witty and fun. Ms. Wrede has a real talent of making a good, fun to read book. I wish that after the fourth book, Talking to Dragons, Ms. Wrede will make books like Tinkering with Dragons which can be from Telemain's perspective, or Listening to Dragons which can be from Kazul's perspective, or even Fighting with Dragons which could even be from Antorell's perspective, or maybe even Riding on Dragons from one of Morwen's cats perspective.

Ms. Wrede if you're out there we want to see more Enchanted Forest Chronicales Books!
