Review: I have all three of these books and can only hope that there will be more. Once again we are taken into yet another realm of fantasy by one of the genre's most skilled & talented authors.

Summary: Marina Sirtis is an excellent choice to read this trilogy.
Review: I'm a great fan of McCaffery, and I like this series second behind the Dragonriders. Marina Sirtis reads it well, a bit hypnotically in spots. I can't tell if its abridged or not. These tapes are great in the car. They keep the kids quiet even on short runs.

Summary: Both Ann/es were Thrilled by Marina Sirtis' Reading!
Review: While Anne McCaffrey and I were working on the Powers books at her home in Ireland, every evening writing ceased as we settled in front of the TV to watch Star Trek. Both of us loved Counselor Troi of Next Generation and so we were delighted when we learned that Marina Sirtis would be reading our books on tape for Dove's abridged version. We were so happy we wrote her a joint fan letter. When I first heard the tapes, it was the first time I had listened to a book on tape and she made me a convert then and there. I loved the way a professional actress was able to change her voice to represent different characters and, being a Brit, Marina was even able to do different Irish and English accents as well as American ones. We ourselves edited the first abridgement and to me, I can hardly tell where the second two books were abridged at all.
