Summary: Very Spiritual but too easy to predict
Review: This Book was nice and full of messages , however there is some suspense at the beginning. But it all ends near the middle when you know that Judgement day is coming. Cs Lewis however did manage to set the story fairly well.

Summary: A worthy ending to the Narnia story
Review: I remember as a child having mixed feelings about this book. I found it a little hard to get through, because it seemed to introduce so many characters which were not in earlier books and which didn't really captivate me. However, it was worth it to get to the glorious ending. I remember feeling so glad that C. S. Lewis let the story end the way it did, which is certainly not the way most "children's" stories end. I felt that he really respected children to not write down to them. Because of this book's powerful message, I think it deserves 5 stars even with its minor flaws.

Summary: In my childhood...
Review: This is my favorite book of all time. Narnia was an important part of my childhood. It taught me how to love and who to love. Now, I've moved on and read the Lord of the Rings and have become a Stephen King fan. But still to this day, I pick up one of the seven book that I own and to make a referece. The Last Battle remains my favorite book of all time. I've written parodies of the first four books in the series, satirizing how Lewis never used humor and was almost nasal in his speech. But I do truly love this book. I think this Armageddon type story could be turned into something happening in our world and a Dr. Strangelove type story. Lewis did a great job at killing the world which he gave birth to less than ten years ago. And he gave it a happy ending. This is the book of my childhood innocence.

Summary: An Average Ending
Review: Lewis should of spoke more about Tash in the other books instead of just introducing him in the very last book of the series. The last few chapters were the best of the book the rest was OK. This book was not as good as the other books but is still was a pretty good book.

Summary: Wonderful!!!
Review: The BBC does a fabulous job dramatizing C.S. Lewis' classic "The Last Battle" The story is changed and rearranged with just the right amount of added detail to make it better to the ear. Wonderful music and sound effects! The same goes for all BBC audio tapes of the Chronicles. Of course nothing beats the books themselves, but they are wonderful add ons.

Summary: Good, from what I have read.
Review: I have tried to read this book many times but I have never finished it. It's not that it was boring, I just couldn't finish it. I have heard that the last few chapters, which I have not read, are the best chapters of the book, and also that this is the best book in the series. I am going to keep trying to read it, and from what I have read, I would reommend this book to anyone.

Summary: The Ultimate Ending to One of the Best Fantasy Series Ever!
Review: After reading through the adventures of Digory & Polly, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, and Eustace and Jill, "The Last Battle" proves itself as a magnificent final touch to "the cover and title page" of "the great adventure", as Lewis puts it at the end of the book. It is almost heartbreaking to read of Narnia as it dies, only to realize that the dying Narnia is merely a shadow of the real thing. It makes us think of our own Shadowland, Earth, and when the time will come when the Shadows will pass away and we'll see the REAL thing. This book is for everyone! Read it and enjoy it.

Summary: The Last Battle: Our Blessed Hope
Review:

C S Lewis' "The Last Battle" is one of my favourites in his Chronicles of Narnia. It has such meaning, such hope! As a born again Christian, it reminds me that the battle is the Lord's, and, no matter how bad things might get here on earth, He will prevail.

Mr. Lewis' description of "Aslan's country", Heaven, is also quite interesting. When the Pevensies and Narnian's enter, they find it a bigger, better, PERFECT version of their own home, all the places familiar to them.

As I would with any of the Chronicles of Narnia, I STRONGLY reccomend this book.

Summary: Best Book Ever, "By the Lion's Mane"
Review: The Chronicles of Narnia is my all-time favorite series. I have read and reread these books from elementary school through college and THE LAST BATTLE is definitely the best of them all. The finale thrills me and gives me chills every time. Read this book - but read the whole series first

Summary: How Can A Book Be This Good?
Review: The Last Battle is sure packed with adventure and imaginaition. C.S. Lewis has done a very good job with his series. A donkey named Puzzle and an ape named Shift try to pull of a dangerous trick. They pretend Puzzle is Aslan, though Puzzle is wearing lion skin that was found in the water. The Calormenes are in on the trick, and they make all the animals become slaves. As King Tirian is knocked out and tied to a tree, two kids named Jill and Euastace rescue King Tirian. Poggin the Dwarf, Jill the Archer, Euastace the Swordman, King Tirian the King, and Jewel the Unicorn battle for their lives. At the end, there is a new world in the stable... where Tash lives
