Rating: Summary: Bruce Coville has done it again! Review: I loved "Into the Land of the Unicorns" and I adored "Song of the Wanderer!" I have read Book one of the Unicorn Chronicles three times. I waited years for Book two to come out, and it finally has. For those of you who are in the process of purchasing the book, read Mr. Coville's foreword. He knows how we've been waiting for this book. It gave me a laugh. I absoluely loved "Song of the Wanderer!" I think the best part is that it is twice as long as it's predecessor. I can't wait to reread the book. If you love unicorns, I guarantee that you'll love this book!
Rating: Summary: Song of the Wanderer Review: I read this book (after reading the first book) with a group of 5th grade girls who are eccelerated readers. The girls and I could not put the book down! This book brought with it friendship, family ties & a great deal of suspense. I would recommend this book for young readers, but also for adults who love fantansy. The ending is wonderful & we can't wait for Book 3!
Rating: Summary: Bruce Coville has done it again! Review: SONG OF THE WANDERER,by Bruce Coville, is a fantastic follow-up story to the book, INTO THE LAND OF THE UNICORNS. I waited for what seemed like forever for this book to be written. And as soon as I found out it was in stores I snatched it up and devoured every word. I couldn't believe how well Bruce told this story. It is even better than the first book,(INTO THE LAND OF THE UNICORNS)if you can believe it. I highly recemend this book to all ages. I loved it, and am sure that you will too.
Rating: Summary: Legendary Review: Mr. Coville has really outdone himself. I read it and was entranced. His writing style is great and fast-paced and really keeps the book moving. I finished it in one sitting...it was extraordinary! And doubly as long as the first one? Double the treat for all of his readers! I loved it! Just when you think it's over...guess what, it's not. And you finally get to meet Beloved face to face. This book defies all other unicorn books with its originality [Well, except for the Firebringer Trilogy...heh :)], and the world Mr. Coville has created is legendary. Hope you've started the next one already, Mr. Coville! I'll be the first one to grab it! Excellent writing, excellent characters, non-stop pace. You'll love it, guaranteed.
Rating: Summary: This book is awesome Review: This book is about Cara's adventures to find her grandmother back on Earth, and to avoid Beloved. This book has many surprising twists and turns, and it is better then the first one, if that is possible. Not buying this book is a big mistake!
Rating: Summary: Desperately waiting for book three.....Please hurry! Review: I first read Into the land of the Unicorns when it first came out and now at seventeen years of age I could not put the book down and read it in a span of hours. I got lost in the detail, the story, the images the Mr. Coville creates with his words. This is a truly wonderful book for anyone who loves unicorns and adventure. I can't wait for the third book to find out what happens to the Wanderer next...Please continue the Chronicles and I promise to read them over and over, as well as read them to my children and grandchilden. Thank you Mr. Coville for writing such wonderful stories.
Rating: Summary: I read it in one sitting Review: This book was dream like. I have waited a very long time for it's release. I enjoyed how Mr. Coville intigrated more mysterious events, and solved some of the old mysteries from the first book. This book was imaginative, and captivating. Mr. Coville, you have done an excellent job, and i look forward to a continuation of the series.
Rating: Summary: An excellent fantasy epic. Review: I have waited years to read the much awaited, 2nd book of the Unicorn Chronicles. And I am certainly pleased. This adventure that Cara goes through is a master piece. A wonderful fantasy in Luster, the land of the unicorns, as Cara tries to avaid Beloved and find her grandmother. I was touched with the ending. (don't worry, i won't spoil the surprise) I can't wait fot the third book!
Rating: Summary: when's the next one coming out? Review: I read the first book and I couldn't wait to read the second one. I waited and waited for it to come out and it finally did. I was in the middle of another book and the moment I go the song of the wanderer, I stopped reading the other one and read this one. I finished it in one day because i couldn't put it down. I read through the night untill I finished it and then I wanted to know what happened next. Please don't put such a gap in between this one and the third one! I'm dying to read another book about Cara and her friends.
Rating: Summary: The Book that Meant so Much... Review: When a friend told me that a sequal to "Into the Land of the Unicorns" was coming out, I was lost for words. This book has meant so much to me, ever since I read it years ago. And once I did, I didn't stop. My copy of "Into the Land of the Unicorns" has become very bedragled and dogeared from my many readings, though luckily I am getting the hardback version soon. I have probably read it over 20 times, and every one is better than the last, because of the beautiful writing of Bruce Coville. "Then fear and hope and all attempts at calm were washed away in a tide of wonder, as a creature of such exquisite loveliness that the very sight of him brought tears to her eyes stepped into the moonlight." The words have touched my heart, and have remained there ever since I read that book. As soon as I heard about the new book being released, I informed my sister, someone else who had read this book. And she responded with the indigent commment, "Well, it's about time!" which rather mystified me. Through the years after I read the book, I imagined new endings, each one different from the next, every time I read the book. So now that the sequal is coming out, it only makes the whole experience sweeter, for if I had been able to go out and buy the next book right away, it wouldn't have been nearly as wonderful or magical for me. I would like nothing else better in the whole world than to be able to tell you, Mr. Coville, how much I have loved and cherished your book. I only hope that "the Song of the Wanderer" will be one of many Unicorn Chronicals to come, as I am certain I will share this book with my own children some day. I just wanted to let you know how much it means that you put so much into your books, a quality that I and other readers keep coming back to. I thank you with all my heart, Corrie
