Summary: ...It really makes you think...
Review: Im a 13 year old girl and I love the X-Files.. this book is so good i couldn't put it down... it seems like Chris Carter wrote it himself. It was also different because it had a child in the story and Scully helped the child..she had a connection with him.I like when young people get involved with the X-files ,it makes it exciting. It was also partially realistic because of the way it was about finding a cure for cancer and then losing it..it makes you think how that could've really happened somewhere in the world. It really makes you think. -Danielle

Summary: This is the best X-Files book ever!
Review: I think that this is the best X-Files novel written up to this date! Kevin J Anderson's latest is truly the best! Keep it up Kevin!

Summary: ONE OF THE BETTER X-FILE NOVELS...
Review: This novel is one of the better ones written...suspenseful plot, good pace, and intriguing premise. Good action in the right places as well. To me, I felt it was a genuine novel and not a hastily written book trying to capitalize on the X-Files popularity.

Summary: Very Well Written!!
Review: This book went very slowly in the beggining, but after the first 50-65 pages, the pace picked up. I think the book does a good job describing things. I recomend this book if you don't plan on getting all the action in the beggining.

Summary: Suspenseful, and one of the best X-files books I've read
Review: I felt the book was well written, which is something one can expect from Kevin Anderson. Though nanotechnology has been addressed by X-files already, it still had a new angle to it. Lots of action too! I like the short chapters, because it makes the book move along better. I keep thinking "just one more chapter", and, before long, I've finished the book

Summary: The best yet from the X-files novels!
Review: I really think that this is the best book yet from the X-files series. Unlike his other novels from the x-files, Anderson really thought this story out and made it so exciting to read. It had me up late at night because I didn't want to put it down. I truly recomend it.

Summary: How come there are only 5 stars?!
Review: X-Files is the coolest show in the world, and these books reflect the show very well. I've read all the ones that have been published so far, and the ones by Kevin J. Anderson are the best. :)

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: If it reads, sounds, feels like an episode--it's an episode!
Review: Don't look for character development in this work. But chances are if you're reading an X-Files book you already know what to expect from Mulder and Sculley. You won't be disappointed--unless you may have been expecting to "get all that extra stuff that you can get from books which you can't squeeze into an hour of TV or a 2-hour movie." But I did like it enough to buy _Ruins_ the next day.
