Summary: Tamora Pierce books are great!
Review: These books are the greatest series I've ever read. After reading about Liam, Thom, and Faitful dying, I cried a lot in bed. After I came to this site, I was soooo happy to hear there were other Pierce lovers out there. in this book, Alanna finds some friends, unmasks some bad guys, has a little romance(and a lot of tragedy!)and finally gets married.(I'm not telling who ... !) It's an incredibly satisfying book, and I reccommend it for anybody older than 9. I've read all her books she's ever written, except the last three Veralidaine Saaraasri books.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A nice ending and rather good book.
Review: The first time I saw this book, I liked it because it was large (Always good for ending a series.). Although parts of the book were a bit boring, I think it's an all-around good book that ends an all-around good series. I think, though, it was a quite brattish of Allana to walk out on faithful old George after what she was doing before. And that to people who think Jon was meant for her! He's soooo spoiled! Although the second book was the best, this one is good to and goes as a tie with the 1st book, both beating The Woman Who Rides Like A Man all hollow. but for people who think the ending was sad, you guys should read the Goldan Compass and it's runner-ups! They are great books (and tragic...)! Well, my reivew is about this book... You should read it. (If you haven't already) There are good books out there, but this is one that is worth buying in hardback.

Summary: Definetly ties for the best book in the series!
Review: this book was so, so good! i mean, sure, the first time i read it, i wanted her to marry jon! he is a spoiled BRAT! god, if any guy ever spoke to ME that way, i'd kick his ass to pluto and back! i mean, ok, sorry, i'm talking about the third book! i swear, i can't even count how many times i have read this series in my life. i first read it when i was 11, now i'm 13, and i still love it! i remember my mom screaming at me at 3 in the morning when she woke up and i was still awake, reading this book. the only problem i had with it was her and liam! he was like, twice her age! i loved the ending though (i won't give it away for any of you who haven't read it, but heck, if you have not read it yet, what kind of loser are you?), but i didn't think that jon and thayet were good for each other. i liked him and josiane the best! hehehehehehe, sorry, but if it weren't for them, alanna and george, well, ya'll know what i'm talking about. i mean, was jon ever really love her seriously? i don't really think so, cause he never really acted like it. i do want to know what would have happened if they HAD gotten married. it actually would have been kinda funny. oh yeah, did you know, the series started out as a single adult novel, then tamora turned it into a young adult (i don't know why they put these into the 9-12 category, i mean, they openly talk about sex in these!) series. if you don't believe me, go to http://www.sff.com/people/Tamora.Pierce! it's really cool, they talk about daine, numair, alanna, jonathan, george, and princess kalasin. any way, i loved it, so if you haven't read it, get your butt to a bookstore or library NOW!

Summary: Probably the best ever!
Review: This is a very good book. Probably the best out of the series. It took me two days to read it. I didn't want to set it down! In my mind its as good as The Lord Of The Rings. You've got the magic sword, the Dominion Jewel, romance, even fights! Oh yeah the best of all MAGIC! This book is perfect for girls with big imaganations, like me! The book is the best! Read it! P.S. you'll like the cat!

Summary: Nice but a bit neat...
Review: I suppose I really shouldn't whinge about how neatly everything ties up in the end. It is fantasy, I suppose...anyway, it was quite well-written, and I'm glad TP didn't cop out and have Alanna marry Jon in the end. He's nice enough, and if he wasn't the Prince it would have been fine, but it really would have been a waste of 8 years and all her training if all she was going to do was have babies for him and do whatever your traditional fantasy queens do (even though Thayet doesn't do that). George is only about 6 years older than her anyway, so it's not that big an age difference, (he's 17 when she's 11), and he seems to understand her better. I think he'd been in love with her a lot longer than Jon had, and at least he never but the pressure on her. He waited until she was ready, which is more than what Jon did. I wished that TP had written more about Alanna in the years between this and Immortals, especially as Alanna's only 20 when the book ends, so I'd really like to see how she deals with the immediate future, rather than just have her crop up for cameos in later books.

Summary: NO TITLE
Review: I think all the Alanna books are SO great... I've read that series, the Immortals and the Circle of Magic series SO many times. I've read every Alanna book at LEAST 6 or 7 times... Just be sure you read the Alanna books first, because some stuff won't make sense otherwise, and other stuff will be ruined about them. They're some of my favorite books, and anyone with any imagination would like them alot.

Summary: Thoughts 'bout Lioness Rampant
Review: Well, Lioness Rampant is exciting, yes. However, I feel Alanna: the first adventure is somewhat better and I know most people agree with me. But, everyone should definitely read this one because practically all of Tamora Pierce's books are worth it, especially The Song of the Lioness Quartet, Protector of the Small Quartet, and Circle Opens Quartet.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: FANTASTIC
Review: Over the past year I have read this book 4 times. Itsamazing. And definately the best book out of this quartet. Newcharcaters like Thayet and Liam are introduced, but all the old ones are in there too. Like usual the writing is funny at points and sad at others, and the plot is great. But the thing that makes it different is the way, after building up tot his for four books, there is a fantastic finale, when Alanna has to fight Roger for the last time. The last few chapters of the book leading up to Jon's coronation (and on the actual day) are so exciting. I love all of Tamora Pierce's books but this one is my favourite. You have GOT to read it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A good wrapup to the quartet
Review: I thought this book was a good wrapup to the Song of theLioness quartet. It was not my favorite book in the series, but it wasstill so good that it deserves 10 stars! I liked the way that Tamora Pierce incorporated the characters of Thayet, Buri, and Liam. I also thought that the ending was very good, but I won't spoil it for all of you who are going to read it VERY soon!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: read it. now.
Review: this book is awesome. im kinda glad the whole jon + alanna wore out (i always hated him) and george pulled through. i love this book. a lot. (by the way, isnt this SO much better than the 3rd?)...
