Rating: Summary: Good, not the best in the series though! Fabulous anyway!!! Review: Though I can see your point about Jon and George, after I had re-read the books several times, I realize that Alanna made the right decision. Though Jon is perfect and all, with the fights they had I don't think they would have stayed together very long. :-(. On the whole a great book and if you need more Alanna read THE IMMORTALS. Not as good as the SONG OF THE LIONESS but good just the same.
Rating: Summary: I THOUGHT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ROMANTIC Review: I was rather depressed after reading this story. I can't believe that TP wrote this book. I kept hoping that stupid female would wake up and go back to her first love. I thoughtthe book might get better at the end but it didn't. I wish I had never read it.
Rating: Summary: An Exellent book Review: The song of the lioness is one of the best series I have read. I first read them when I was thirteen They were in my school library and I really enjoy them. But when I changed schools I couldn't find them anywhere, but I thought that I would read them again and they wouldn't be as good as they were when I was in grade 8. But I found them again when I was searching amazon books, I ordered the first one and it was just as good as I remembered so I ordered them all. I think that the ending was great and fit perfectly. People complain that she didn't end up with the person they wanted her to, but that is part of the story. it shows that it doesn't conform to the typical fairytale storyline. I really liked this series but I was a little disapointed with The immortals series. I don't think that they had the same depth. As for age level, I personally think that If you can read you are old enough for these book, and you can continue reading them 'till thay nail your coffin shut.
Rating: Summary: Very surprising.... Review: I was mad when she married George! Alana should have married Prince Jon. I think that the second and first books are best.
Rating: Summary: All her books are the best I've ever read and always will be Review: This book was awesome!!! In my opinion, all of her books are the greatest. I read them over and over again. I must have read each book in the series at leat ten times. All three series are the best books I have ever read, and always will be. I hope she writes other books as good as this. It showed action, romance, and suspense. You never knew what was going to happen next. I recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy books.
Rating: Summary: An Appropriate Ending Review: This Final Book signals the end of the Song of the Lioness Trilogy quite appropriately. Alanna completes her task the gods have sent her on and she finally finds the love and peace she looked for in all her lovers. A great climax to a great series with all the emotional punch for a grand finale. I'm impressed with Pierce's range of character development and emotional depth. What a great series for young adults! I love this series more each time I read it.
Rating: Summary: Awesome book! Review: I really loved this whole Quartet, especially the first and last books.I,a medieval-sword-and-magic-loving fourteen year old lass, thoroughly enjoyed this book.Alanna is so cool and one of my role models! She just keeps going, and going, and going....About 7 months ago I read Louise Cooper's Indigo Saga, which is practically my FAV!-so far-and that's when I decided at least part of my life was going to be devoted totally to fantasy/fiction writing.Even though the I.Saga got me started,Pierce's Quartet pushed me even further.I Love It!!!-if anyone wants to read an 8 book saga that's sadder and not as light as this Quartet I reccommend some of Louise's work-I've almost finished writing me first book.Hopefully sometime in the future maybe one of you shall see my name on the cover of a fanatsy novel.-Keep up the good work,Tamora!!
Rating: Summary: An awesome book! Review: This book is really great. It is one of my favorites! I really love it! Tamora Pierce is great. I absolutely love this series. My friend has read it too and we both think the books are great. I have a copy of all 4 books sitting on my bookshelf at home. If you love romance, magic and brave knights, this is the book for you!
Rating: Summary: A little different, but good. Review: I liked this book a lot, but I felt that that Jonathan should have married Alanna. George was nice and all, but Jonathan was just the perfect match. I didn't think he got too "High on his horse", and I must admit, the fact she married George disapointed me a lot. I was sorry about Faithful's death, but you knew someone important was going to die. Overall, this was a good book.
Rating: Summary: An excelent conclusion for a brilliant series !!!!!! Review: I loved this book almost as much as the first one. I must disagree with a previous reviewer, I think it was a good ending. Though the third book probably only deserves three stars.
