Rating: Summary: Ten years later, I continue to regard this book fondly Review: I initially read this book as a 4th-grader (ahem, that would be ten years ago) and -- embarrassingly -- I still go back to it. This book is gorgeous. Well-drawn characters fuel a truly inspired plot. Even the illustrations are exceptional, and not intrusive, as many children's books illustrations are. And a word to parents: the fantasy is certainly "light" enough that it isn't at all destructive to young minds. Tiamat the dragon really takes the spotlight here -- kids will fall in love.
Rating: Summary: An excellent book! Review: I love this book. My class read it as a novel and we allenjoyed it! I loved it so much I took out of the library to read itagain. I even have my mom reading it. I really recomend this book to everyone, not only children, but adults as well! You will love this book!
Rating: Summary: A magical Thriller Review: I loved this book so much that I couldn't stop reading it. It only took me four days to read it! If you like dragons and you like magic- and even if you don't, read this book.
Rating: Summary: Great family reading Review: I read this book aloud with my 9 year old daughter, and she gave it the ultimate compliment: 'I wished it would never end'. I must admit, I did too. A very heartfelt and magical book about friendship. I would recommend it to any parent who likes to read with their kids.
Rating: Summary: One of those stories that won't soon be forgotten. Review: I remember, a few years back, when I first read this book. I finished it in tears, but I absolutely loved it. If you like fantasy, adventure, fun, and a little bit of mischief, this story is for you. A must with dragon lovers! I've read my paperback from cover to cover, and its appearance can tell a story of its own. The spine is broken, the pages are falling out, and it is one of the most loved books in my collection. It is one to always keep close to your heart, one that makes your imagination set forth and adventure into the depths of fantasy. Bruce Coville definately at his best.
Rating: Summary: When you're done, dry your eyes, and then rate it #1!!!!!!!! Review: I think that it is the best book of all time. It was well written, and the story line was great. It's very humorous, but in the end you'll probably need kleenex for when Jeremy learns to say good-bye and then how to say hello again. I have read this book 3 times and I recommend it to people of all ages. Liz Clark age 13
Rating: Summary: A wonderful story Review: I think that this book is a wonderful story and is full with detail and imagination. For a person, like I, who loves magic and fantasy, it is a fantastic story. I think it is good for not only children, but adults too. I'll keep it for my children to come.
Rating: Summary: a dragon hatches from a egg Review: I think you should really read Dragon Hatcher. It is exciting . I like the middle part because a baby made afire in the house. My favorite part is the boy hatches a egg.
Rating: Summary: Jeremy the dragon hatcher Review: I thought this was a good book. It was very interesting and also had good description. Jeremy is in art class. He gets a love letter from Mary Lou and she wants to kiss him after school. Then, after school, he is chased by Mary Lou and two other boys. He runs so far that he finds a magic shop that he has never seen before. In the shop, he buys a dragon's egg. The instructions that Mr. Elives gave him to hatch the egg changed after egg hatched to say how to take care of the egg. This book is descriptive. When he is looking at the dragon and saying how it looks. You can get a picture in your mind of what it looks like. If you like dragons and magic then you might like this book.
Rating: Summary: a VERY good book Review: I've read this book 20 times and i still love it! Tiamat is the best! I think a sequel would be great! You have to read this book!
