Rating: Summary: Dumbest Ever!! Review: TERRIBLE - STUPID - DUMB - STORY LINE IS RIDICULOUS - UNINTERESTING - ABSOLUTELY NO DEPTH TO ANYTHING - EVEN FOR A FANTASY IT FAILS HORRIBLY. I give this a book a below zero rating.
Rating: Summary: Nora Roberts does it again!!!!!! Review: I loved this book! Typical Nora Roberts style! I cannot wait for the next two books! Once I picked up Key of Light, I could not put it down! The plot was fantastic! Three women, who in the past were demigoddesses, are chosen to find the keys to unlock their future and their pasts. The first of the three, Mallory is at a impass in life and finds most than she could ever imagine in her quest for the Key! The perfect combination of romance and suspense!
Rating: Summary: The fun is in the details... Review: To those who aren't Nora Roberts fans, but are interested in picking up one of her books: this is a thoroughly entertaining book. It's got romance, intrigue, engaging characters, and an interesting plot. Be careful, though, because it's the first book of a trilogy, and you could easily get pulled into buying two more books. It might not be literature, it might not be art, but it sure is a lot of fun.Now on to the bulk of my review, which is aimed at those who are already Nora fans: in a way, you've read this before. The characters are mixes of earlier characters, and some are not even mixes: Dana Steele is rather a lot like Ripley Todd, for instance. You can pretty much guess what's going to happen both in this book and in the next two. For that reason, I'd really rather give it 4.5 stars instead of 5. In other words, it's not quite perfect. However, it's the same Nora Roberts we know and love. Just because you have a good idea of where you're going doesn't mean you can't enjoy the trip. What sets this book apart, and makes it so enjoyable, is its details. The plot is intriguing, and at times exciting. Even though it has parts to it that are reminiscent of earlier trilogies (especially the Three Sisters and the Irish trilogies), it has fresh and interesting twists to it. The characters are as loveable as always, and their details set them apart from previous characters: Dana's books (she's a reference librarian, which I love), for example, and Flynn's dog. And there are a few scenes that I thought topped anything NR's written before. In short, read it. It's good. :-)
Rating: Summary: An Excellent New Trilogy Review: I bought this via amazon.com as its only available in England from January and I could'nt wait that long. I received my copy on Monday 3rd and I finished it The Early Hours of Wednesday Morning 5th Nov. This is a really good story, Strong Character and a crazy dog that you have to smile at. I cant wait now for book two.
Rating: Summary: always something new from Nora Roberts Review: I picked this up and could not put it down. Wonderful charactors and fun dialog, along with a great story. I never get bored when reading a Nora Roberts Book. It amazes me how she can pull you into a story. A must read.
Rating: Summary: Engrossing Read Review: Nora Roberts is one of the best storytellers out there and Key of Light is another fantastic offering from her. I do wonder though if no one really bothers to edit her anymore. There were some fantastically awkward segues with her dialogue that another pair of eyes could have easily fixed. But, as usual hers was a fun and fast read.
Rating: Summary: Another excellent read! Review: There is no writer that does it better than Nora Roberts. I read this book in one day and can't wait for the next in the series to come out. This story grabs you from the beginning. I laughed, I cried. Wonderful!
Rating: Summary: Key #1 Review Review: N Roberts is in her element with this book weaving storylines and interesting characters. Slow to start but once all the players appear, you want to keep reading to see them develop. Not for those who do not like mystical themes. Looking forward to key #2.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic new series. Review: I've been waiting to read this series for a long time and as always Nora does not disappoint. Three single women Mallory,Dana and last but not least Zoe. The girls been chosen to find three keys to free three women from a sleeping curse. Mallory is the first one chosen to find the key of light. She works in an art museum and knows all about the painting that binds all three girls. Flynn Hennesy, Dana's brother falls big time for Mallory and all become involved in the search to find out all about Rowena and Pitt. I became very interested in the two other fellows Jonah Blackwood and Brad Vane who are friends of Flynn and bring welcome humor and fire to this series. I'm looking forward to reading the next two books in the series and highly recommend this series even if you are not Nora fans. I love the book Nora and keep on writing. I even love Moe, Flynn's crazy dog.
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: Key of Light reaches its dazzling conclusion in the same manner as Roberts's other books: with the promise of more to come. A wonderful read! Fans of Christine Feehan and Sherry A. Mauro will not be dissapointed by this writer.
