Review: I loked at the book for the first time and wonder what all the fuss was about and that it looked boring to me. I relucktantly picked it up and bought it. I read the first page and I was hooked till the very end J.K. Rowling has a wonderful talent for takeing you to professer Snapes dungon for potions or feeling like you can taste the wonderful candies. I would recomend this book to everyone!

Review: I looked at the cover of my sister's book and figured it couldn't be the best book in the world, and to my surprise, I couldn't stop reading. It's excellently written, suspense and mystery are woven into the spectacular tale of Harry Potter the modern day wizard. J.K. Rowling has written the best fantasy series since the Hobbit. And I know that the next sever are going to be just as good, if not better. It's a must, not only for the kids, but for the adults who are reading it too.

Review: I love adventure and fantasy ....this book had both. It ratesup there with any Roald Dahl books and Harry brings to mind thatlovable character from Jerry Spinelli's Maniac Magee! I have taught school for 13 years and it is exactly the kind of reading that keeps students wanting more. My own ten year old is waiting to read it.

Review: I love all of the Harry Potter books, and this one was no exception. It seems to me that they just get better and better. The way that J. K. Rolling tells the story is outrages, and how she tricks you into thinking that it was one person, but it is someone completly different! If i could, i would give this a 100 star rateing! It's a great book and a great series. READ IT!!!!

Review: I love all the Harry books, but I adore the 1st book. The reason being is that everything is new, fresh and exciting. It's the first time the reader learns about Hogwarts, Every flavour beans, wizards, and one of my favourite things...wizard chess. Awesome book. The reader is with Harry for the first time. Read the others...you won't want to stop.

Review: I love fantasy, and this is the best fantasy book I've ever read. I was into the book on the first page and I stayed into it until I finished every single last word. It's a story about a young boy who becomes a wizard. He goes to a wizard school and it talks about his expierience there. It's just a must read book!

Review: I love Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! I just recently moved into high school, and I was feeling kind of numb. I love to read, but I hadn't read a good book in a long time. One day, I went to the library and checked out Harry Potter. My friends had all been telling me to read it. So I did. And I LOVED it! I stayed up 'til midnight four nights in a row to read it. (That didn't help my staying awake in class very much, or my paying attention.) The world of Harry Potter is like no other. J. K. Rowling is a genius to create such real characters and experiences. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone makes me want to get out of my drab Geometry class and go study Charms with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. While sweeping my kitchen floor, I find myself wondering what it would be like to play Quidditch on a Nimbus Two Thousand! Rowling's characters are lovable and exciting, from the trouble-making Peeves to the lovable giant Hagrid to the repulsive Muggle Uncle Vernon. The world of Hogwarts is fantastic, a creative wonderland. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a wonderful book for people of all ages, of every personality. I am going to buy J. K. Rowling's book right away, and I look forward to reading all the rest!
