Review: Harry Potter was an average boy, so he thought. Harry had been living with his aunt, uncle, and his pudgy annoying cousin, Dudly. Harry was told that his father and mother were killed in a car accident. But all that is about to change when Harry discovers that he is one of the most powerful wizards of all time. The author, J.K. Rowling, truly has written a classic tale of good versus evil. This is Rowlings first book. If this book sounds interesting to you, try it. But even if it doesn't, or even if you don't like good versus evil themes, try it. Harry Potter is a must for all ages. I don't like to read, but this is the best book I've ever read. " Harry Potter should run for president."

Review: Harry Potter was an excellent book! It was very exciting.There were many characters which made it somewhat confusing, so you need to pay close attention. It drove many children all over the world to read, and i think that is great!Harry Potter was about a young boy,Harry, who dicovers he is a wizard. Actually he is a very famous wizard, much like his parents. His parents died when he was a very young boy. They were killed by a wizard gone bad named Voldemort. He now has to go to Hogwarts the school or witches. He finds himself being very good at a sport called Quiddich. Many things happen while he is there. Another being, Voldemort trying to steal the Sorcerers Stone. The rest is for you to figure out. I definatly recomend this book to any reader!

Review: Harry Potter was an orphan and lived with his abusive Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia. They forced him to live in terrible conditions and his only birthday present ever, was an old sock. His room was nothing but a small cabinet at the bottom of the stairs. For Harry, things were about to change. For eleven years, he believed that his parents were killed in a car accident. Now he will find out the truth about his life. Letters addressed to Harry's closet started being sent to the Dursleys. After the first one was torn up, they started arriving everywhere that they went. Yet on one stormy night, Harry saw what was written on the letters. He was a wizard, and the letter was from a witchcraft and wizardry school named Hogwarts. Harry's mother and father were not in a car crash, but the dark wizard Voldemort murdered them. Hogwarts was a magical place for Harry. He had his own bed and was able to do virtually anything that he pleased. Everything there had magic involved, from classes to food and sports. He met new friends such as Hermoine and Ron, and joined the Gryffindor Quidditch team, which he greatly loved. There was only one problem for Harry Potter, and that was that Voldemort, the most powerful dark wizard ever, was out to murder him and steal a very precious item that the school was keeping secret. That item was the sorcerer's stone! Now Harry must help stop Voldemort from getting the stone or else it could be the end for him and the rest of the good wizards. Can Harry get to the stone first, or will Voldemort steal it successfully? The stone must be destroyed and the future of good lies in Harry's hands. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone had won many major awards and is a fantastic debut for the author J.K. Rowling. I personally enjoyed this book because it is witty and incredibly funny. It's characters are very interesting in their own way and this book is impossible to put down. I recommend this book to everyone no matter what kind of books they like.

Review: Harry Potter was awesome!! I loved the part when Gryffindor wins the house cup. I also liked Diagon alley and the Quidditch matches. This book will stay on the top of my list!!!!!!!! I really, really enjoyed Harry Potter.

Review: Harry Potter was just an ordinary boy until a giant comes through the door saying he was a wizard. Of course, Harry couldn't talk with all the excitment. He gets to go to school at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When he gets there, he finds two friends. Ronald Weasly and Hermione Granger. But a teacher at Hogwarts, Professor Snape, is going to steal the sorcerer's stone. Is Harry going to save the stone? Is Snape going to steal the sorcerer's stone or not?

Review: Harry Potter was mistreated all his life by his horrible aunt and uncle. (not to mention Dudly, his bully of a cousin.) One day, a mysterious letter arrives stating that he is accepted to Hogwarts, the school of magic. He goes and meets new friends and foes. His adventures to save the Sorcerer's Stone is a book you cannot put down until the last sentence!

Review: Harry Potter was one of our favorite books! It's about an 11 year old boy who lives with his horrible aunt, uncle and cousin. One day a letter arrives in the mail for Harry. His wicked guardians wont let him have it. When Harry finally gets a hold of a letter, which are becoming more numerous each day, it is an invitation to Hogwarts, a school of witchcraft and wizardry. We aren't going to give away the whole story,so if you would like to know more, read it yourself!! We recommend it for anyone in the 3rd grade or older.

Review: Harry Potter was one of the best books I have read! It had so much action. I spent days in bed reading and reading. I am reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets now and I am in love. I can't wait until the third book comes out in the USA!!!!
