Summary: Im probably gonna get bad feedback for this...
Review: For those of you who haven't realised that Harry Potter is a scam to drain the wallets of people yet, for shame.

The Prisoner of Azkaban starts off better than the others, the whole deal with the Hippogriff is good I guess, it adds to the fantasy aspect. And as I've said in my reviews for the other two, these are great books for kids I'm assuming, but that's about it.

This series, it seems, doesn't offer us anything. There is an ever growing force of malice, but the story doesn't seem to bother with that, instead more about the giant Hagrid; who's character is well, kind of annoying. I think I'm supposed to sympathize for him, but really, I don't care. The hippogriff, yes, but Hagrid no. So I don't need to know every ten pages that he looks sad or is wailing like an infant.

Also, the book dragged a lot. The explanation took around thirty pages to tell, and by that time I had lost all interest. But then, it's still not over.

The entire book seemed more of a chore than anything else...

Review: For those of you who loved Volume 1, but weren't crazy about Volume 2, let me say I loved Volume 3. I can't wait for Volume 4.

Summary: Harry Potter- book 3
Review: Four words- I love Harry Potter! J.K. Rowling is a real genius. She puts alot of imagination into her writing and seems to really TRY unlike other authors i've read. Once you read Harry Potter, you have to have more. Though, the books are sometimes pricey.

Summary: You Just Keep On Reading
Review: Friends all around me were reading the Harry Potter series, whereas I was trying to ingore them. I just couldn't figure out what was so good about this particular author and her books. Why was the story of an orphaned boy, under the care of relatives who might as well have been tyrants, who discovers he's a wizard so great? To me that just seemed like an impossible plot. To me it was another story in which this person finds out he's a wizard and has to save the world or something. I like those books, but you couldn't really be crazy about them. So about a year ago I got the 4th Harry Potter book for my birthday and I forced myself to read the first 3 so I wouldn't waste this present. Coincidently, I didn't even need to force myself. I was so captured by Rowling's writing and her creation, I forced myself to finish the series in 3 days (you might think it exaggerated, but i stayed up throught the night to read it!). So, if there are others like me, some who just think this to be a crazy book, person, you are calling the wrong thing crazy. Grab the first one, and believe me, you won't even need to reconsider if you want the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.

Summary: can't put it down
Review: From the moment i started reading i couldn't put it down. The thrill of how harry was going to handle his uncle and cousin. I was glad to see that harry stood up for himself. I liked how there was just action all the time. The way the auther wrote everything so careful to lead you all the way to each secret. You could really get into the castle and see what everyone else was seeing and feeling. I would recommend anyone that likes a good mystery to read this book.

Summary: Excellent for children and adults!
Review: Grandma bought the first book for my 10 year old because it was a best seller...then my 16 year old latched onto it...and now I've been hooked too! We waited with great anticipation for the most recent effort, and we were pleased to find it even better than the first two, though I didn't think that would be possible! Our biggest problem was who would get to read it first...I tried to claim the privilege of rank, but my teenager claimed that possesion is 9/10ths of the law. *Sigh* To all of the adults out there, don't let the kids keep this jewel to themselves! Though you will want to make sure that you have plenty of free time to read it because you won't want to put it down!

Summary: Utterly Amazing for kids and adults of all ages!
Review: Granted I didn't jump on the Harry Potter bandwagon until around 6 months ago. I ADORE this series, and I will admit I am not in the intended age range here.I am 26 years of age, but I can't wait to get to the next book. I think these books are the most imaginative I have read since the Narnia Chronicles when I was young. For a year or so, I thought these were just for kids. Yet one day I took the plunge, and now I will not turn back until I have read all the forthcoming Harry Potter books. I recommend it to everyone, young and old alike!
