Rating: Summary: Harry Potter's magical world Review: I used to think this book was buring, nothing that would attract me to read. But now, I love it. By thought different. This book has a lot talk about. the places it mentioned, and how it was deseribed. All that I did imagined when reading, and I liked it very different from other books. Probably becaise it was different and new to me, I enjoy reading it. I have even thought of reading the whole 4 edition book's, to my little brother. i bet he would enjoy it as well. I liked this book, because it talk's about animals that don't exist. The characters are different from all the book's I've read before. I liked this book, because it took me back to my childhood. I recomend this book to everybody. For those who loved to read children's book. I think if children read the Harry Potter book editions, they are going to love it. Since it has a lot of magical events. Kid's are a attracted to the adventerous books parent's might like this kind of books for their kids. Knowing they are not violent, and not a bad example for them. This book, is very educational for any age it teaches a kid, not to fight, not to have enemies and not to cause trouble. It alo tell's for chindren to keep on going to school. This book, can also be for parents, for them to learn the magical world, that children would love to learned about.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter books aren't evil Review: The first thing that I want to say to those whom criticize the book is "Have you even bothered reading it?" I think that the peope that say that the books are evil and that they are teaching kids witchcraft is that they are wrong. This book is alot like the Wizard of Oz in some ways. Like in the wizard of Oz the little girl Dorothy is trying to get home and she has to get away from the witch. Yes there is that word "Witch". Why don't they try to ban that book and movie? It deals with witches as does the Harry Potter books. If you haven't read the book I recomend you start reading it. It has to do alot with friendship. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are always helping each other out. Harry doesn't care if Ron is poor or that Hermione is not a pure bred wizard. He accepts them for who they are and not where they come from. It is much like what kids face each day. Most of them get picked on because they don't have what others have or because they look a different way or are a different color of skin. The author of these books covers all of that in the series. I think that this a very good book to read, as are the first 3. I suggest you read it once you pick it up you won't be able to put it down. Especially when you get to the part when Harry is captured by Voldemort and he manages to escape with the help of his dead father.
Rating: Summary: The best things about the third book Review: When I was told I had to read the first four books of Harry Potter I did not want to read them because they were so long. Once I started to read the first book I wanted to keep on reading. Out of the four books I have read so far I liked Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In this book it takes longer to get to Hogwarts the witchcraft and wizardry school which they attend. J.K. Rowlings uses a lot of discription on all of the chapters.
Rating: Summary: A well written book Review: I didn't really enjoy reading in school, but after reading all Harry Potter books I changed my mind. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was my favorite book out of all four I haven't yet started the fifth one yet, but I pretty sure it's going to more intense and exiting. The way the story goes makes you feel wanting more. Reading something in the beginning without even knowing why it's there in the first makes you think if the answers going to come up soon. That's the way this book started. For instance, the person who put Harry's name in the goblet was Mad-Eye-Moody which turned out to be the son of Barty Crouch pretending to be Moody. Finding out all these things makes you wanting more and wanting to figure out the other stuff that doesn't make sense. Another Example is when Winky, Mr. Crouch's house elf was at the top of the box at the quidditch game saving him a seat. By reading on you find out that Mr. Crouch's son was in the empty seat with an invisibility coat on. All Harry Potter books are mysterious and adventures. I recommend the books to anyone that enjoys mysterious and adventures books. You know what; I recommend this book to anyone.
Rating: Summary: A good book! Review: Well i read the first four book in one of my college class. At first i wasn't interested in them when i first heard about them, they look boring and very long. But when we started to read them as we were going on they get interesting and wanted to read some more. They are Ok books but out of their four book the one i enjoyed more was "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," why i enjoyed this one more was because it has more romance because the the boys and girls in the book start noticing each other. it has things that happened that a lot of people could relate to the things that happened. Theirs also a lot of good thing and bad things that happen though out the book. i really encourage other to read the books they are good. I think the books are ok.
Rating: Summary: The best of Four Review: I think the book is was good, it was my first time reading Harry Potter and the Goblrt of Fire. The book has lots of avdantges that Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione. For example when Harry went had to go though the dragons for the first task that he had to go do for the championship. So there was lots of avdantages that Harry had to go threw. Well one of my favorite character was Sirius Black, because when I first found out that he was Harry Potters legal guardian. Well Nlack was very brave and very helpful. I really recommened this book to all students and parent that feel that Harry Potter is to much for little kids.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter "Goblet Of Fire" Review: I think the "Goblet Of Fire" was a good book.Just like all the other Harry Potter books. I don't understand why some people think the Harry potter books are evil. The Harry Potter books to me are friendly and nice. Yes,they have magic in them but when they have magic it's ethier for good to help Harry,Ron and Hermonie to get away from the the bad guys. Or something silly that Harry is learning in one of his classes. I like the Harry Potter books alot because even though I'm in college I can go back and relate to what ethier Harry or Ron or Hermonie is going though. I think if you can relate to a book it makes it more instring and you want to read it more. I think all ages should be able to open the book and enjoy them. I think middle schools and maybe even high schools should be reading the Harry Potter books. Last but not least, I did not really like reading that much before. But, when I started reading Harry Potter books I liked it because they were funny and i could relate to the books. I think everyone should at least read one book of Harry Potter to see what they think.
Rating: Summary: My favorite of Four Review: When I first started reading this book I thought it was going to be boring. But once you start reading it you get in to it, and you wonder what might happen next. So far I have read all four of the Harry Potter books and this was one that I like the most. I really like the fact that they don't have the Quidditch games no more I like the fact that in oder to play the game you have to be 17 years or older, because there is more danger out there. Once you read this book you'll want to read the 5th book because I know I do. I like the fact that they show how kids really are know, they get jealous of each other and that's how kids really do act. If you have read the first three books I recommend you to read the fourth because to me that's the best and it might be yours too.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book So Far Review: Goblet of Fire is the best book in the Harry Potter series so far. It is thick and full of an excitement and, at times, terrifying story that will keep any read on the edge of his or her seat. I for one could not put this book down and engulfed the story over a weekend of non-stop reading. The themes of this book have changed as the characters have changed. Stories involving greater danger, young love, jealousy, and teen angst become more prevalent as the characters age. Parents should be cautioned, however, to read the book first before allowing their children to hear or read it themselves. Some of the action will be upsetting to young readers. Overall, however, this is an excellent addition to the series. It leaves me waiting with bated breath for the next novel.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire Review: Wouldn't it be so cool to be a wizard? Would you be surprised if one day an owl delivered a letter telling you that you were a wizard and were accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I know I would! Well, this fantasy happened to a boy named Harry Potter when he was about 10 years old on a normal day in a normal house on Privet Drive. Harry Potter lives with his aunt and uncle and their son, Dudley, who annoys Harry to death. Harry's Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon treat him like dirt because when he was not even a year old, he was dropped off at their doorstep after surviving an attack from the most powerful wizard in the wizarding world: Lord Voldemort. Harry is famous after the attack because no one had ever survived a blow from Lord Voldemort, the most feared wizard in the world. He is very angry and Voldemort is starting to go after Harry again. Harry is very popular in Hogwarts for his scar from Lord Voldemort, but he doesn't like the attention. In this adventurous and suspenseful novel, Harry Potter is entering his fourth year in Hogwarts. His best friends who he met on the train ride to Hogwarts in his first year are named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Hermione is the perfect student and makes sure Harry and Ron stay out of trouble. Ron, is very loyal to Harry and they have some wild adventures together. Both Hermione and Ron help Harry through his adventures and are honest and friendly to each other. At the beginning of his fourth year, they have some surprised guests show up in some awkward ways. Two other schools arrive at Hogwarts invited by Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts. Little did the students know, they were going to hold a Triwizard Tournament at Hogwarts. There is a magic goblet that chooses a representative from each school. The person who is chosen from each school must take on tasks that the schools have chose. The tournament is full of danger and requires love, bravery, and strength. In this ingenius novel, friends have to fight and trust each other in each and every task they meet. I encourage you to read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to stretch your imagination and take you into an adventurous novel you will never forget! I loved this book, and I think you will too! I recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure and magic. It is a large book, but it doesn't matter, as long as you enjoy it. -Carter Tisdale
