Rating: Summary: too unreal Review: I like the book but it's to out of this world,I think J.K Rowling was to lazy to go in to much discription. So she used magic
Rating: Summary: Attention all Muggles! Review: This is the best Harry Potter book by far. Its the most exciting, and fearful! As an adult reader, I liked the fact that it was deeper and darker than the other 3 Harry Potter books. It combined the mystery and intrigue with comedy, as Harry begins to grow up, and takes an interest in girls. An excellent book for people of all ages. I recommend it to anyone - even those who don't like fantasy books. Just can't wait til the film now!!
Rating: Summary: Smashing! Review: Well, this is fantastic. The whole series by itself is wonderful, but Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is by far, THE best.I won't tell you much of what happens, except for the fact that Harry is accidently put into the Triwizard Tournament. He has to battle a dragon, rescue Ron from the bottom of the lake, and outsmart a maze, in order to even be close to winning the Triwizard Cup.A special note: PLEASE, please, heed my advice; keep a box of kleenex with you, when you get down to the final 5 chapters. I won't tell you what happens, save to say that there is a 95% chance you WILL need them.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter Read all about it ! Review: This is the story of all time ! People, you have to read this book. Here is a boy named Harry Potter. This kid is going through a bad time, and some strange person keeps sending him letters day after day! He finds out he is a wizard, and starts going to Hogwarts School of Wizardry. But little does he know that there is someone out there trying to get him. This guy's name is Lord Voldemort. He is after Harry because Harry survived his great power with a scar only. This made Lord Voldemort very angry and he is trying to kill him every year he is at Hogwarts and fails. This time Harry won the last battle with him. Harry will be fine until next year. We'll find out next year when book five comes out! For now, Harry and his friends will be hanging out.
Rating: Summary: BEST SO FARE Review: I have read the first four volumes in the series. i am 62 so not still a child. i enjoyed VOL 4 as the best in the series so far although VOL 1 is a not too distant second. I was completely enthrawled and couldn't put the book down. I wanted more every after 750 pages.
Rating: Summary: ENOUGH ALREADY! Review: My 13 year old told me to say "Enough with Harry Potter". I think the author is losing the gemeration of kids who started with her as they get older. He has discovered other series tat he much prefers, such as the Brian Jacques REDWALL series and the DRAGONS OF PERN series. As your kids mature, they will outgrow Harry. Too bad Harry isn't keeping up. Personally, I found this book disappointing. The author is copying from others and pawning it off as her own. No really original ideas, just hype. And this one is just a tad bit cynical and dark. Oh well, you can't hype stuff and expect it to last. I gave this 2 stars for the attempt and some fast moving passages, otherwise there is a lot better out there for your kids.
Rating: Summary: JK Rowling is a Goddess! Review: ATTENTION PARENTS: If your child is spending tp much time at the TV, grab this book, turn off the TV, sit your child down, and hand them a Harry Potter book. I swear on all that is holy that these books are the Saviour of little children with TV-fried brains!! I'd start with the first 3 of course and then work yourself up to the best one of the four written by the talented JK Rowling. The fourth book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is as enjoyable as the last 3. The characters grow, the plot increases and it will make your child wait in anticipation for the next book (which is coming in 2002). I know I am.
Rating: Summary: A Child's Fantasy. . . . . . . Review: Harry Potter is the best series I have EVER read! No matter where you are in the book you always have your face in it. You can't stop LITERALLY! I remember reading the books at 1:00am and thinking, 'I have school tommorrow. I have to sleep. . . .ok, just one more chapter.' And then I'd keep doing that until I fell alseep reading. Harry Potter is a wonderful series for all ages! YES, EVEN ADULTS! I know so many adults who read Harry Potter. Don't be ashamed of it, they're great books and they help you cope with the stress of the world. You go into a world where fantasy comes true, and the world you dreamed of as a child is real!!!
Rating: Summary: JK. ROWLINGS DOES IT AGAIN !! Review: I especially like this book because as Harry matures so does the story evolving around him.Where have you been, living in a cave? You must have this book. And if you want this book then you MUST get the previous 3 because if you read this one first, you won't get lost, but you won't get the full impact of this book!
