Rating: Summary: Wow Review: In the last week, I have enjoyed the first four Harry Potter books, and this is my absolute favorite. The book is very clever and well written. I recommend it to everyone as a *must* read.
Rating: Summary: The best one so far! Review: This book is so far the best. I have read every book twice and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best. There is everything in it. Quidditch, fighting, Voldemort, its scary, and there is alot of thinking involved. O yeah, once u start reading you wont put it down. even if you dont belive me ask anyone. Everyone knows about harry potter.
Rating: Summary: Another great one Review: A few things, echoing on the sentiments of other reviews:1. Story: sure, these books are predictable -- we know Harry will win every time. But the joy of this series is not the outcome, but the journey -- HOW he wins. That's what makes Harry Potter so enjoyable to read, and what makes this fourth book the best yet (#3 was also great, as was #1...#2 was the weakest, in my opinion). His hurdles become greater each time, and so does the reader's appreciation of his accomplishments. 2. Plot twists: we've all come to expect that there will be some sort of plot twist...nevertheless, the specifics of this plot twist always take me by surprise (except, of course, when curiosity gets the better of me and I read ahead). I never see the specific betrayal coming, even though I know there will be one. In this book, the betrayal (I won't give it away) had me floored -- there were so many red herrings, I didn't know who to trust (or not to trust). Maybe I'm just gullible. I hope I'm as gullible for the next 3 installments. 3. Characters: I think the trio is getting more and more differentiated. Hermione is becoming an independent woman, with a love interest. Ron is becoming not just Harry's best friend, but someone who is searching for his own place in the world. And Harry, still the reluctant hero, is dealing with his fears in new ways. So I would disagree with anyone who says that the POV in this story is muddled -- on the contrary, I now have an even greater sense of the differences in these characters, and an even keener interest in seeing how they turn out. And that's it. Keep up the great work, Ms. Rowling. You're not only writing great stories, but you're getting people of all ages to READ.

Rating: Summary: Claytons amaizing reveiw of Harry Potter Review: everyone in the world knows about the Harry Potter collection. Who couldn'? Its just the way that auther J.K. Rowling uses pages of writing just to make you feel like you're there. If you havent read this book already then there is no better time than now.
Rating: Summary: Wow! Review: The Harry Potter books have a devoted adult following. I recommend the series highly. Each book builds wonderfully upon the others. As Harry gets older, the books grow in complexity and tackle broader and more difficult themes. Fabulously fun and entertaining. Don't pick any of the Harry Potter books up until you have a significant amount of time to devote to reading them because you will not want to put them down. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Best yet! Review: Alright so after being bombarded with Harry Potter the last year I finally decided I would read the books. I was not impressed with the first and second ones. But when I got to the third and fourth it got absoluteley amazing! My friend doesn't like this one because it is so dark but that is why I like it. (...)
Rating: Summary: Shaun Hinds' Review of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire Review: when I began to read this book I was amazed to see how much had changed in Harry's life from the 3rd book.Unlike the others, the fourth Harry Potter book had much detail to it. It was like actually being there. At the end of the book something happened that will change Harry's life forever.
Rating: Summary: It's a Wonderful Book! Review: This book is such an extraordinary story. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who enjoys fantasy. Harry Potter books are some of the best books I've ever read and the author is so creative to have come up with stories like this!
Rating: Summary: Hugo Award winner! Review: Hugo Award, Best Novel 2001 WARNING: This is the fourth book of the series, read them in order for maximum enjoyment and understanding. The Harry Potter series, for those of you who have been living in a cave in Afganistan the past few years, postulates a society of wizards and magical creatures, living alongside but hidden from the ordinary non-magical people, or "muggles." Harry is the child of two wizards. At a young age Harry's parents were killed by You Know Who, but miraculously Harry survived the Death Curse cast upon him by the evil wizard, and the spell killed the caster. Harry spent his childhood with his mother's muggle relations, and knew nothing about magic until he was old enough to go to boarding school. My boy complains that this is a gender-switched retelling of The Worst Witch; just as The Lion King is Hamlet in cat costumes. There are only seven stories, the art is in the telling. And J. K. Rowling tells this story well. As I write this there are almost four thousand reviews of this book, over three thousand of them with a five star rating. Let me just add that while the media insist on calling these children's books, adults can enjoy them too. I cannot stress strongly enough read the books in order! This book makes a turning point in the tone of the series. This book may be too violent for some pre-teens (individual parents should judge), it is not more than a PG-13.
