Summary: Twisted plot, immensely entertainly!
Review: This book is by far the best of the series. Like all of the others, little by little every baffling detail is revealed and explained. So many new characters...for some a little too many to remember...for me that makes it a great book. Trust me, this long book goes quick!

Hermione is my hero. I would marry her if she was a real person. I love academic challenges, trying to obtain as much possible knowledge; I adore books, and I generally relatively smart. (humble, humble) I wish I could bury my nose in The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 4, and learn how to trangsfigure things. (No joke, I've had dreams I am learning this stuff.) I would try every spell or charm I could find. I would be her best friend if I were in the book.

I am forced to wait 'till the fith one comes out. Little hints of a plot for the fith are said.

It took me (the first time I read it) three days to read. Me, being almost twelve, I devoured it quickly. But please, read every little line very very slowly...there are only seven books, and before you know it, Harry Potter's adventures will come to an unfortunate end. I honestly think I will become very very depressed...the characters are like my brothers and sisters and finally realizing that they aren't real makes me upset. Please, J.K. Rowling, WRITE MORE THAN SEVEN! CONTINUE HIS LIFE! YOU'RE BECOMING RICH! DONT STOP! YOU KNOW YOU LOVE WRITING THEM, SO KEEP GOING! (No, don't, but consider another series.)

Summary: Absolutely Amazing, A Must Read!
Review: All I have to say is that this book is absolutely amazing. I didn't catch onto the Harry Potter phenomenon until after the 3rd book was released. Then, in 7th grade in 1999, I read all three of the books in one week, and started eagerly anticipating the 4th! I have to say, I was not disappointed! J.K. Rowling has now proved 4 times over that she is an amazing talented, gifted, and imaginative writer. The way she writes her stories just pulls you in so you can't let go. I read this book, all 734 pages, in one day. I felt so absorbed in Harry's wondrous magical world that I just could not put it down. This book, although darker than the first 3, still maintained the same effect of making us actually feel the magic going on, not just seeing it. We also realize that our beloved Harry is growing up. He starts to take an interest in girls, which shows that Harry is a very normal boy, dealing with normal problems. Harry is not the smartest boy, not the nicest boy, not the most gifted boy magically. But all of this helps us to sympathize and become one with the boy we have all come to love. Harry proves in this story that he is truly an individual person who possesses a powerful spirit and soul. And even at the end of this book, when he knows hard times are to come, he faces it with a positive outlook because he knows that good will eventually triumph over evil. This book can teach us all powerful and valuable lessons in how to be moral and good people. In this time of trial for our country, who wouldn't want to escape, even if for only a few hours, into Harry's wonderful world of fantasy and magic?

Summary: A great book even for adult
Review: I'm 25 and a graduate student. Still I love Harry Potter as any of his young fans (if not more). To me the storyline keeps me excited and engrossed in the reading process, but the deeper messages passed by Rowling in her books makes me ponder even long after I read them. Young readers, think about questions like
"what makes a successful person -- bravery, intelligence, diligence, or ambition?"
"In face of hardship, what do you choose -- the easy way, or the right way?"
"Should anyone be superior because of his/her looks, wealth, class, or should there be something deeper as the standard?"
"Should people be given a second chance, and should you trust them?"
...

I can already see this is becoming a really *dull* review for many of you out there. But I'm just writing them out in hope of making the most of reading Rowling. If you could, keep these questions in mind when you read Harry Potter and when you deal with real life. You may find you gain much more than just reading the best stories in the world.

Summary: A must read!
Review: Don't let the thickness of this book intimidate you! You still will not want it to end. If you have read the first three, then this one won't dissapoint you and it is arguably Rowling's best to date. The book transports you to Harry's world and takes you right along for the ride. It is fantastic in its imagery and action. Enjoy!

Summary: The story fleshed out in audio
Review: I really enjoy this for those long car trips. I can listen again and again. The reader is excellent and keeps me on the edge of my seat as he reads out loud the exciting scenes I had read throughout the book. The pictures are reenacted in my head over and over. If you like a "good read" on the road or any old time....This is perfect. Especially if you are already hooked on Mr. Potter.

Summary: She was going along so well ...
Review: Loved the first three books. This fourth one seems to have been rushed into print before editing. Much could be removed to distill it into as good a book as the first three.

Summary: curses...made speechless again! (but that's a good thing)
Review: I cannot even begin to describe why this book is incredible and mind blowing. It was heart-wrenching, nerve-wracking, suspensful, and down right freaky, creepy and a bit scary at times. In other words: AMAZING. Definetly a must read.

Summary: Couldn't put it down!
Review: My 15 yr old daughter was doing a school project on banned books, and asked me to read the first one...well by the end of the week, I had completed ALL four in the series. I am eargerly awaiting the 5th...AND I will be going to see the movie! The only people who do not enjoy these books...are people with NO imagination.

Summary: The best yet!!!
Review: This is, in my opinion, the best book of the series. (So far.) J.K. Rowling warned us fans that the books would become darker over the course of Harry's years at Hogwarts, and she was right. I think she is moving in the right direction. I best enjoyed how all the characters are growing up and starting to act like it. They're dealing with more complicated things than mean relatives and not having any friends. Life gets hard after a while, and it's even harder for Harry. J.K. does a fantastic job of showing how one boy's life is changing forever. I can only hope that Book 5 will be as good as Book 4, if not better.

Summary: Another great year at Hogwarts...
Review: J.K. Rowling never ceases to amaze me. Imagination, creativity, magic and surprises take center stage in the fourth installment of Harry Potter, and it proves once again that Harry simply gets better with age.

Never a dull moment at Hogwarts. This year something different is on the horizon and has all the Hogwarts students giddy with excitement. This "something" comes in the form of the Triwizard Tournament, a competition of skill and bravery between three rival wizarding schools. Only one champion per school is allowed, and Harry is too young to compete. But someone, somewhere, has it out for Harry and concocts a plan that turns his fourth year completely upside down...and with fatal consequences.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is more mature and humorous than the previous three, but does not devalue the adventure and magic that has become its trademark. The ending will twist, turn and surprise you. You think you know, but really you have NO idea! I am eagerly anticipating the next book. I'm already in withdrawls....
