Summary: couldn't put it down
Review: The Harry Potter series is a brilliant set of books with the fourth one ranking as the best. J.K. takes you through another of Harry's adventures at Hogwarts. If your wondering if you should by this book I say get it cause it's a great book to read. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire it is exciting and keeps you on the edge of your seat. After I read the first three I was excited to get to this one because everyone I talked to said it was awesome. I enjoy Rowling's books and can't wait for the last three to come out. I really hope I encouraged you to buy this book and if I did, enjoy.

Summary: This book is on FIRE!
Review: I enjoyed this book because I enjoy action-packed, mystery books. The main character was Harry Potter. I liked him because he was very mischievous in some ways. The best part of the book was when his team won the big Quidditch match. The ending was kind of disappointing because I wanted to know what happened next.

Summary: I was disappointed
Review: I just finished reading this, and I'm glad, because I'm not at all comfortable handing it over to my 9-year-old to read. The graveyard scene at the end is VERY violent, not to mention some totally unnecessary profanity scattered through the book (which I noticed also in the third book by the way). And I'm not too happy about the "cheating is the secret to success" attitude about the tournament either.

And to the reader who said "It's not good for kids to read but who cares"--I care. It's being marketed as a kids' book! At a minimum, shouldn't the books we give our kids not contain words the kids aren't allowed to use?

My son and I both love the first three books. Maybe the change in tone is inevitable as the characters get older. If that is the case, it's a shame.

Summary: Simply Outstanding
Review: As I was reading this book, I imagined every single part as if I were inside the plot. The characters are marvellously well described and also are the settings. Mrs. Rowling has once more surprised me as she has already done with all her other 3 books.
This one in particular, although it is very long, makes you turn pages quickly, thrilling you every moment.
If you read it, you won't complain at all! I have read it twice (in english and in spanish) and both times I was thrilled.
Read it, and you won't regret!

Summary: HP and the Goblet of Fire
Review: I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling. I think Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a great book. My favorite part is the Tri-wizard Tournament. I liked every part of it. My favorite character is Harry I liked him best because he is the hero of the story. The story took place at Hogwarts. The book taught me about Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts. I would recommend this book to a friend because it is such a great book.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Review: I have read many of the reviews for this book. I saw one having problems with it. Ian understand why you might not like it because you don't like fantasy books and long books. But you shouldn't really discourage other people to try this book for themselves. Many others tell the most suprising parts of the book spoiling it. People should try not to spoil or discourange other books so they could find out by themselves. I for one gave this book 5 stars because I find it very suspensful and exciting. Many twists and turns make it a good book to read. It is a pretty long but it makes up with lots of detail.

Summary: Fabulous!!! Great for any age!
Review: I am a 21 year-old and I have read this book and the others in the series three times each. My mother and twelve-year-old brother had been trying to convince me to read them for ages, when I finally gave in this summer. I am so glad that I did! As for this particular book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire definitely ties with the Prisoner of Azkaban for the best in the series. The Goblet of Fire is chock full of humor, but is suspenseful and chilling as well. The ending is a great surprise and we are left craving the release of book 5! This series should be read by all ages! Don't miss out!

Summary: Wonderful wonderful Harry Potter!
Review: Ahh yes, another wonderful Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling, definitely one of the best Harry Potter books! Well, then again, aren't they all one of the best?! It's quite hard to pick one of the best, but Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is EXCELLENT. I recommend it for anybody ANY AGE!

Summary: Dark and Glorious
Review: At the end of this marvelous book, Hagrid the Gamekeeper says something to the effect of "Whatever happens from this point on, we'll deal with it as it comes".

It's simple wisdom, but in the post-911 world, this book becomes more relevant than ever. Yes, this is the darkest of the four books, and the longest. Don't let that stop you from enjoying every magical word on the pages of this classic. The battle between Harry and Voldemort, between good and evil, between the forces of darkness and the forces of light, is epic in scope, and there are lessons to be learned here. Yes, it's fantasy, but don't think for a moment that there aren't parallels with our present-day real world.

I'm constantly struck by how Rowling has been able to keep up such a high level of wonder with each book. Here, she outdoes herself. Thank you, Ms. Rowling, for this marvelous series.

Summary: harry potter and the goblet of fire
Review: I liked this book because I like to put my self in harry potter's place out of the real world and into harry's world.

the best part of the book was the end were you think it's all over and it takes a twist in the story.

In the book the setting was the most vivd story element. No matter what the setting has to do with what is happing behind or outside the walls of hogwarts school of witch craft and wizardry.
