Summary: THE BEST BOOK IN A LOOOONG WHILE!!
Review: I really liked this book, because the author created a complete world of her own!! The books enrich the kids' imagination!! It has amazing wording too, you can acctually imagine it all. I was fascinated by the authors' creativity, I mean to create a complete world of your own isn't easy!! And J.K Rowling did very well with that!! The whole story isn't predictable either, I personally hate predictable books because there isn't anything exiting jumping out at you! So if you haven't readthis book yetthan Isuggest you should!!

Summary: Harry Potter is not only a children's book.
Review: I really enjoy reading the Harry Potter series. J. K. Rowling has written books I can enjoy and let my imagination loose. The stories are alway entertaining and the interaction between the characters are almost alway humorous.

The only "glitch" I noticed when listening to Jim Dale read "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is in Chapter 34.

Enough of that, I can't wait to read the next book! Hurray!

Summary: Goblet is the best yet
Review: Ok. I'm a diehard Harry Potter fan. But I loved this book. I was so glad it was thicker because it meant more time with Harry and the gang. Each challenge that Harry faced was interesting and exciting. And they showed how Harry had grown and matured over the past 4 years. Harry is loyal, devoted, and always tries to do the right thing. He doesn't always think before he leaps but then getting out of the subsequent predicaments is part of the story. It will be fun to see how Harry continues to grow and mature. This book had a more serious tone than the previous books, and I don't think the latter part is suitable for children under 9, unless they are mature for their age. It really gets pretty scary there for a while. I think parents should read this one first, and then decide whether to let their kids read it.

Summary: J.K. Rowling uses dynamic characters to fill hopeful message
Review: After millions of copies sold, thousands of children hooked and hundreds of families addicted, it is blatantly appropriate to say that the influence of J.K.Rowling's books remains contagious and infectious. From first hearsay of Rowling's unconquerable quartet of literature, the presence of great literary devices was detectable. To the reader, the most obvious example would be her use of dynamic characters, situational irony and a somehwhat satirical theme.
Harry Potter, a "cinderella" to certain extent embodies a change of poor living and few friends to a magical wizard lifestyle filled with fun and dreams only fit for fiction. I thoroughly enjoyed all the books but my free reading choice was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I really enjoyed this book among the others because of the situational irony employed by Rowling. A prejudice tone felt as muggles were placed against wixards gives a good idea as to the authors feelings of prejudice and racism. As in many other forms of literature, difference is portrayed as not always better but only to prove that it is ignorance that stands between the two.
Overall, I enjoyed the 3rd Harry Potter novel the most but as for the Goblet of Fire, a definite recommendation would be in order. Though dynamic characters and situational irony give the audience as well as thousands of children's imaginations a mystical captivation, Rowling's use of a somewhat satirical theme pushes this book from good to great. An insight to the world that differences should be accepted but also embraced mirrors the innocent want to succeed and help others succeed in life. This novel was above and beyond what was expected and imagined. Now the only question is when the 5th will be out!

Summary: excellent!!!!!!!!!
Review: I really enjoyed the audio book series. This were the best audio books I have ever listened to (and I listened to many). I think Jim Dale did a wonderful job, though he could improve a little the vocal emotional presentations of children's voices. I would really love to thank Jim Dale and JK Rowling for giving me so many long hours of pure pleasure and allowing me to wander off to another world for a while. Best book, best experience, best perfomance! Counting the days till HP5...

Summary: You MUST read this book!
Review: I am the mom of a big Harry Potter fan, but I will admit to reading these books myself. They are wonderful! Once you start, you just can't put them down. J.K. Rowling makes the most unbelievable, magical things seem real. You can't wait to see what will happen to Harry next. The best part is that my daughter and I can discuss the stories together. You will not regret buying this book - it is the most exciting of them all so far!

Summary: Potter, the literary phenomenon of the 21st century.
Review: She Who must Be Obeyed ordered me to read the Potter series. I resisted for months. What the (expletive deleted) would I want with a kid's book?

Naturally, she prevailed and I've been quite grateful ever since.

Potter, in case you don't know is a normal kid, who just happens to be a wizard. If he were abnormal the books would lose their punch. Rowlings is wickedly funny at times, in this one she takes a shot at the press.

The plots follow a pattern. Harry rises to heroism in the penultimate chapter when confronted by appaling and unexpected circumstances plus there is always the element of mystery a la Agatha Christie. Rowlings keeps throwing red herrings and the ending always comes as a logical but unexpected surprise.

This is usually a delight although in this one, the death of a student, or to be accurate the murder of a student may freak out some of the 9 year olds. Add to it the unwillingness of those in power to realize the terrible danger which now faces them and a few of the kids may get nightmares.

Rowlings defended her decision on TV by stating that she did not want to trivialize evil. Good for her.

Summary: This Book is on Fire!
Review: Do you like a book you just can't stop reading? If so then Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the book for you. This book is known and printed in many different parts of the world. This is the fourth of the Harry Potter books. Harry Potter attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This year the Triwizard Tournament takes place between Hogwarts and two other witchcraft schools. Each school will have a student representing it in the tournament, but somehow Hogwarts got two. Harry just happens to be one of them. Then something terrible happens, but you'll have to read the book to find out what.
I liked this book because it keeps you wondering about what will happen next. This book is very interesting. I would recommend it to a more mature audience because it is a really long book and some of it is hard to understand. J.K. Rowling did a great job writing this book and I hope she writes more.

Summary: The Best of the Bunch so far
Review: This is a great book in that we see and get involved then ever before. We are seeing new aspect of both Harry, Ron and Hermione. Mainly between the hint of like/love between Ron and Hermione. Also it has been said by other people that Harry is not really showing interst in the female kind. Well that is not true he does like the Seeker or the Ravenclaw Team. But he is still shy, to a degree. Yet these things are in the undertow and some may not pick up on this right away. Also the idea of Dumbldore being to perfect is not very true either. The book(s) are from Harry's point of view and to him Dumbldore is perfect, yet if he was then he would have never of hired Lockhart or seen right through Mad Eye Moody. There is mythology left and right in the 4 books. This one is has it in just about every chapter. There is action all over the place and yes it is a bit darker, but the mood of the book calls for it right out of the get go. The violence is not as bad as some other books out there. Just look the story "Rock a Bye Baby". I can't wait for the next three to come out.
