Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire Review: The book Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire is about Harry and how he joins the Triwizard Tournament. Harry Potter goes back to Hogwarts. When the Triwizard Tournament starts, Harry gets chosen by accident. So everyone is mad at Harry because there is only supposed to be one Champion. Many things happen to Harry Potter ad his friends including tasks that Harry has to perform. When it was the final task, something terrible happened. One of the champions, from Hogwarts, died from the deadly curse Avada Kedavra. Then in the end Voldemort came back with his body. I would highly recommend this book. It has a sense of adventure, mystery, and excitement. It is a thrilling book to read. I would recommend this book also because it is a best seller. Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire has 47 translations throughout the world. It has five stars. I think it was a good book. My favorite part of the book is when the deadly curses were performed in Professer Moody's class. The class is Arts Against the Defense. The three deadly curses are the Imperius Curse, the Cruciatus Curse, and Evada Kedavra. Professer Moody shows the class the three curses by example. They use a spider to show the examples. That was my favorite part of the book.
Rating: Summary: Julian's Story Review: I thought Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the best book out of the whole series. It had a lot of pages, which is good because I like to read. The plot was cool too, and set the scene for the next books. Thanks for listening to my review.
Rating: Summary: Best Book of the Year Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best book in mankind so far to me.It's one of those one-of-a-kind books.Whenever a really, really, really exciting or suprising event or thing happens my eyes pop out.(My brother would look at me like I was a dope)I keep telling all my friends to read it.There was a boy Andy and he was on chapter 16(The triwizard tournament)when I was on chapter 9 (the dark mark)and I still beat him to the end when we weren't even racing. My favorite part was when Hermoine found out the secret of Rita Skeeter...that Skeeter woman!I love Hermoine. She is so smart.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has a mixture of excitement and mystery. Through out the book there is always a little excitement and adventure in each chapter. The reason why I read this book was my brother said that this book was really good. So one day when I was board I started to read this book. It was grabbing my attention when I first read the chapter. I couldn't put the book down. The book was about Harry Potter and how he got his name into the goblet of fire. The triwizards tournament was held at Hogwarts and Harry was chosen to be one of the four champions. The triwizards tournament there is a series of three tasks or quests you have to do. During the last task Harry and another champion from hogwarts meet at the end of the task and was going to touch the triwizard trophy together. Harry didn't want to take the trophy so he told the other champion to take it. The other champion didn't want to because he thought Harry deserved it so they both touched it at the same time. When they touched it they were teleported to Lord Voltemort! My favorite part of the book was in the beginning where they went to the Quidditch World Cup. That was my favorite part because I like all kinds of sports. Harry and his friends went to the actual stadium and watched the world cup. That was the most interesting part to me.
Rating: Summary: A Goblet of Darkness Review: This fourth book in the Harry Potter series continues to present Harry as a hero who gets by with very little punishment or consequence for disobedience or lying. Other characters who are supposedly 'good,' such as Mr. Weasley, the father of Harry's friend, Ron, also lie and, in fact, Mr. Weasley advises his two sons to not tell their mother that they gambled. The story starts with a murder, and a very gruesome and repulsive ritual is performed towards the end of the book. The book also presents the idea that the ends justify the means. I read all four books and carefully documented many moral problems in the main characters that cause these books to be highly inappropriate for children ages 9-12. Additionally, as a former astrologer, I think it is important for people to know of the book's endorsement of the study and use of occult arts such as casting spells and divination. Harry is not learning to be a witch; he is learning to master forces that are the domain of a would-be sorcerer.
Rating: Summary: An excellent outing, if a bit long Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was an exciting page-turner, but at times became a little too verbose and would have probably been better if the editors had seen fit to trim it down a little. Still, it was probably the best book that I have read since finishing the young adult fantasy adventure King Fortis the Brave by LaMontagne and Snyder.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has a mixture of excitement and mystery. The book starts off with Harry's scar that starts to burn when lord Voltemort supposedly is near by. The Triwizard tournament is going to be healed at Harry's Wizard School this year. (Hogwarts). Some how Harry's name is put into the goblet of Fire and hi is chosen to be one of the Four Champions. Harry said that he didn't put his name in the goblet of fire but nobody believes him. In the Triwizards tournament there is a series of three tasks or quests you have to do. On the Last Task Harry and another champion from Hogwarts meet at the end of the task and was going to touch the triwizard trophy together because they helped each other during the tasks. Harry was bleeding badly so he told the other player to take the triwizard trophy but he didn't want to. So they both touch the triwizard trophy. When they touched the trophy they got teleported to a strange place. There they found Lord Voltemort! Lord Voltemort killed the other person with the same thing that killed Harry's Mother and father. Lord Voltermotrt challenged Harry to a duel. He fought and fought the curse then he ran away. This book was exciting.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire Review: J.K. Rowling did it again. She has written another book of the Harry Potter series. In my opinion this is the best book of the series. This book might look hard to read but, it is so action packed, and so many adventures to adventure into, that it seems like you just picked up the book yeaterday when you finish. Harry is a 14 year old boy, with Jet-black hair, emerald green eyes, a lighting bolt scar on his forhead, glasses, and he is skinny. He lives with his aunt and uncle(who are very mean)and has no fun at all, until he can go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. On accident Harry gets himself into an event that is for the seventh year students. He has to perform tasks to complete the event. During the events someone dies that you wouldn't expect to. It is a fiction book with (maybe) more ideas than I have ever come up with in a year. J.K. rowling uses descriptive words and keeps you reading even if there are people using fireworks out on the lawn. I guess there's nothing else to say besides I gave this book 5 stars and it is one of the best books I've read in a long time.If you think it is the least bit good from what I said, wait till you read the book. READ IT!!!!
Rating: Summary: EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK Review: I don't care how old you are, if you can read this should definitely be on your reading list. All of the Harry Potter books are excellent! I am currently reading it aloud to my 6 year old Niece!
