Rating: Summary: "Harry Potter is Awsome" Review: Harry Pottter was the best book of my life. all of my family has read it and the other books from the seires. the book was thick and i love thick books."
Rating: Summary: HARRY POTTER ROCKS!!!! Review: There really aren't many good words to describe Rowling's spectacular fourth book. These wonderful books just keep getting better and better, yet more frightening. We already had a man with two faces, a giant snake, a traitor who happens to be a rat (literally), and now we have a dangerous tournement with a death. I would recommend this book to no younger than 'older' elementry students. For kids younger than second or third grade, it may be a little frightening. I'm 11 years old and this book scared me out of my wits near the end. Of course, the book is really well-written and a good read. JK has an enthralling way of describing Harry's adventures with discriptive words that keeps all the readers coming back for more. I got this book the first day it was out and couldn't put it down. In fact, I started reading in the car and didn't stop all day!
Rating: Summary: It deserves the grade above Review: Harry Potter Book 4 is good, but I was a bit dissapointed when I read it.The book is over 600 pages long, and there is no any kind of depth to the story.J.K. Rowling is good when she's up to the story concept, but when it comes to characters and emotions...Harry was one-dimensional character from the beggining, but I didn't expect Sirius Black to turn in some goody boy, because I liked his dark image from the Book 3 very much.In the end,the best character in whole series has to be Peter Pettigrew. He's not pure good, nor is he pure evil, but something of both. J.K. Rowling should stop and think, and in the next book,I expect a more complex story and characters. If not, then Harry Potter is very likely to turn in some dirty soap-opera with no meaning. P.S.-Movie [STINKS]!!!!
Rating: Summary: I loved this book but i have a complaint Review: I LOVED this book. it was so much fun to read...part of the joy of this book was the suspense...you never know whats in store for harry...
Rating: Summary: Kevin's book Review Review: I think this book is awesome!!!! He has bad times and he has good times. He goes to the cup where there is a champion from each school but harry was a extra champion from the same school as someone from his school. He didn't even put his name in the pot!!
Rating: Summary: Go, Harry, Go, Harry Review: I would recommend this book for all ages. So, all that stuff happens, then Harry finds out someone is trying to kill him. He is picked as a fourth player in the Triwizard Tournament because someone put his name in the Goblet of Fire. I won't tell the rest of the book. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: perfectly writen novel Review: This book was just so exciting. Some parts surprised me and some parts made my eyes widen. There were also humorous parts that made me chuckle. I also like books with some *love* in it and this book had it. The Yule Ball thing was a great idea!!! Too bad Harry couldn't go with Cho.:(
Rating: Summary: Mystifying book. Good for the kids imagination Review: "Expendo," is one of many spells that is used by the Harry Potter gang. Thousands of kids drift off to a world of imagination when they read any of these books. But in my oppinion the fourth is th e best of all. This book is full excitement . The main question in this book is why did Harry Potter get picked on by the cup?
Rating: Summary: I couldn't put it down! Review: I have never been so immensly impressed by any reading in my particularly meaningless life! I have read the first three Harry Potter books in less than a week, I wasnt able to put them down(I had to pull myself away to do a termpaper!). It has been such an experience reading these books. I loved the stories with their surprising twists, and the characters are just to die for! It makes me feel like I am right there in Hogwarts, sitting in the Gryffindor common room with Ron and Hermione, or on the Nimbus 2000/Firebolt wizzing around winning Quidditch matches! I suggest these books for people ages 10 to 100(and beyond, if you have the luck of owning a sorcerors stone!). Now off to the library to take out the next book!
Rating: Summary: Little slow starting, but worth the extra effort. Review: I just finished the 4th Harry Potter book and am a little sad it's over. I never thought I'd say that after reading a 700+ page book, but it's true. I thought it was slow in the beginning, so it took me a while to really get into it. I'm so glad I kept with it because it was certainly worth the little extra effort. This book tricked me more so than any of the others. I think there was a nice twist at the end that I never saw coming and a great lead in to the next book to come. Rowlings hasn't disappointed me yet and I can't wait until the next one is released.
