Summary: Best Potter book yet; makes you want to read more.
Review: At nearly 800 pages, "Goblet" is the longest Harry Potter book yet. It's also the best - filled with twists and turns that make it difficult to put down. There are almost 4,000 reviews for this book on Amazon.com, so I won't dwell on plot points. In general, everything you love about the Potter series is here in large quantities: new spells, characters, villians, twists, etc. It's a melding of two of literature's most successful genres: It's the "Hardy Boys meet Frodo Baggins" all mixed into one mega-franchise. Moreover, the end of this book keeps you on the edge of your seat: It's kind of like the end of "Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back," where you don't want it to be over because so many things are unresolved. What can I say: Buy it. Read it. Love it. And then, like the multitudes before you, wait patiently for the next installment.

Summary: Harry is Gullible
Review: A review by Chris

The story Harry Potter and the goblet of fire is about a forth year student of Hogwarts School of wizards and witches. Where Harry learns to protect him self and perform several curses, and he also plays several games, like quiditch and is in the triwizard games.

I liked this story but I didn't like how Harry didn't know that anyone was after him. But I liked the constant excitement and how Sirius was always talking to Harry. And I enjoyed the ways Harry did his challenges, but I liked that defense against the dark teacher Im mad how they got rid of him at the end.

It a good book for anybody that likes to read.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was a very exciting book. I would give this book five stars because it was thrilling and adventurous. This book was thrilling because Harry had to face Lord Voldemort and go throgh many obstacles in the Triwizarding Tournament. It was also adventurous because Harry had to go through death spells in his tasks for the Triwizarding Tournament. I would highly recommened this book to children all over the world.

Summary: spell-binding
Review: This book was by far the best of the Harry Potter series. While all of the books were very enjoyable, J.K. Rowling has really outdone herself this time. I have not met a single person who doesn't enjoy this book. Though I have heard some complaints that J.K. Rowling has used up most of her imaginative stuff, I can tell you that is not true at all. This book is just leading up to the final one: the end. HARRY POTTER ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

Summary: GOOD
Review: This book was good, but just not as good as the other ones in the series. There seemed to be too many unanswered questions, the story didnt have an end, true it will continue in to the next book I am sure, but the book its self seemed incomplete. It was an excellant book, but after reading the other works of Rowling, it doesnt cut it...

Summary: The best author ever
Review: JK is the best author. She knows how to hook u into the book with fun and exciting twists. Especially in this fourth book. I feel like i am in hogwarts right along side harry because her writing is so vivid. I cant wait until her next book and see what new exciting adventures there are. :)

Summary: Harry Potter book 4
Review: I have the set of four J. K. Rowling books about Harry Potter. The books are all "GREAT". As far as the books being bad for children! Well I have seen what kids learn from music on the market and what is taught in school. My kids will be able to read Harry Potter and not have to be subjected to the filthly language used it music and in school. The Harry Potter books are a very good change of pace reading.

Summary: I wonder what the low-raters were thinking?
Review: This is most certainly an excellent labour of love by Rowling. Unlike many other books, rather than establishing one plot and following through, there is always some twist or event which changes everything. There is action, adventure, magic, dragons, and everything else that makes a delightful fantasy book.

Mainly, however, I write this to downplay those who speak of the evils of Harry Potter. Harry lies, yes, but only when it is not important to be telling the truth, or if the truth would hurt the listener. Harry does disobey his superiors from time-to-time, also, but usually for a good cause. Harry has never comitted a violent action toward a *good* character. Harry is usually backed up by good-hearted friends and allies, such as Professor Dumbledore. Harry does not break any rules or step out of line for his own benefit, or unimportant things. And although Harry does get off punishment occasionally, it is always because whatever he did do was more important than the rule, and when he does receive punishment is is usually rather severe.

Those who are concerned with the magic and such of Harry Potter influencing their children should proceed to remember that there is a significant gap between FICTION AND REALITY. While there are spells and curses that can be against some religions, there is, of course, the fact that they DO NOT WORK. If I point a stick with a red feather inside at you and shout "Avada Kedavra," you will not die.

This book contains nothing inappropriate for children and is reccomended for anyone.

Summary: #4 but don't start here
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best book I have ever read with my children. It is packed with adventure, and everthing you'll ever want in a book. Yet although we loved the other Harry Potter series, we devoured this book. I personally could not put the book down. Every time you read the book, you always find something new you haven't noticed before. If you are looking for a book to read and still haven't read the Harry Potter books, you MUST, but you need to start with the first book otherwise it will be to confusing to understand. I also recommend any of the other JK Rowlings books and anything by Robert Stanek.
