Summary: The best book EVER!!!
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my favorite book of all times! I have read each Harry Potter book 2 times, and I have fallen in love with them over and over again, but especially this one. Harry is just a 14 year old boy attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It seems normal, but it's not. He's not normal, not even for a wizard. He has to face so many challenges and evil at such a young age, starting at 11. You never know what is going to happen next, and the plot is awesome! I love the way you can see how Harry has grown from an 11 year old to a 14 year old. There is so much danger and excitment in his life, you can tell Harry's living on the edge. The wonderful story is great for fantasy lovers. It has a complex yet easy to understand plot, so everybody can enjoy it. I strongy encourage you to read it. Don't worry about the lenghth, you'll see how fast it goes by. You don't expect anything that happens to happen, and that's what makes it so good. Thanks for writing the best books in the world, JK Rowling!

Summary: Love Jim Dale
Review: I had already read the hardcover version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire before I bought the audio book. I bought it to listen to while I was packing up my house and moving.

Anyway, reading it was great and listening to it is even better. Jim Dale is amazing in the number of voices he does in order to give each character induviduality. And very soon the voices become very identifiable. I have also purchaced Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban on Audiobook.

I would highly recommend this version of Goblet of Fire for your listening pleasure. You will not be disappointed!

Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
By J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is one of my 4 favorite books. This book was meant to be a children's book but yet I see adults and teens reading it. This book makes me want to read if anyone knows me that is a big accomplishment. This book as it all mystery, drama, and adventure. The mystery really comes out when some how his name ends up in the goblet of fire. The goblet of fire was in place to choose the best student from each of the three schools. The chosen students would compete in a tournament the winner, or in this case the winners, would get a cash prize and the trophy for the school. The drama really starts when Cedric is killed from there it goes to a duel against Voldermant and Harry. When they duel ghost come out of Voldermant's wand in the order they got killed. Two of the ghosts ended up being Harry's parent's and that help him get away from Voldermant. The adventure other then him sneaking around in school was the challenges like when he had to rescue his friends underwater, when he had to get past a dragon, and the final challenges is to get a trophy in the middle of a maze with obstacles in the way.
All and all I think this is one of the 4 best books ever consisting of all mystery, drama, and adventure.

Summary: I'm just wild about Harry!!!
Review: Harry Potter has gotten into another unexplainable and uncontrolable situation. He arrives at school just as he did the past 3 years, and every year Harry solves the schools problem, despite the fact that the students don't realize his accomplishments. This year, there wasn't a problem, or so he thought. There was a competition between neighboring wizardring schools. Harry wasn't supposed to be allowed to enter the contest, yet somehow, someway, he was entered. It is only clear to the reader and to Harry at the end of the book, that this was all the works of the evil Lord Voldermort. One of my most favorable scenes in this book, was when the climax came into focus. Harry and his classmate,Dean, were at the end of the competition, when they arrived to see Lord Voldermort. They had no clue that he was going to be there. Voldermort murdered Dean. Before he destroyed Harry, he wanted to reveal secrets of his past, in order to cause him pain internally before he died. Harry received this amazing and unknown power, and as Voldermort tried to kill Harry again, he gained control over his wand, and let out all the souls and tragic stories of the thousands of people that he destroyed with that very wand. This is the most intense and terrifying part of the book. I had to read the last 3 chapters twice in order to actually be convinced that a student died, and all the horrific events that were occurring. This had to be the most shocking, surprising, and intense book I have ever read ,and I enjoyed it greatly. I would recommend this book to any child with a broad imagination, and sense of integrity and companionship. All of these characteristics are what make up this book and the characters.

Summary: One of the best reading experiences.
Review: The Harry Potter Fever didn't hit me until I saw the preview of the movie in TV. After that I decided to read the books. After finishing the first 3 books in a matter of weeks, it was time to hit the fourth and latest book in the series. Upon reading the first few pages of the book, I was instantly brought back to the magical world of Harry Potter. This time the book has a darker feel to it and rightful so since Voldemort is near his rebirth. Not giving away too much there is a rare tournament happening in Hogwarths this year. 3 Schools of magic are competing for pride and bragging rights. Will Harry be just another spectator or a competitor?

Summary: A fine book--but where to go from here?
Review: This is another volume in an outstanding, deeply satisfying series; but I wonder if the author may be starting to run out of steam. While volume four is very good, the underlying plot structure, Rowling must know, needs to change. The formula so far has been that Harry meets the challenge of dealing with Lord Voldemort; and, along the way, he engages with some he trusted who turn out to betray him, and there are other "surprises," now coming to be somewhat expected. Rowling has excellent instincts as a writer, so I suspect that the delay of volume five is due to her desire and effort not to cash in on her success in a formulaic way but to come up with another book that will not only take Harry to a higher level of maturity, ethical insight, wizardry skills, and romance but also reflect her own growing maturity as a novelist.
