Summary: The best Harry Potter
Review: I've just finished "The goblet of fire", and I have to say it is the best in this awesome series.

JK Rowling did a good and well-thought job by letting her main characters grow up at the same rate of her readers. This is the best part of the Harry Potter series: they grow more intelligent with each book.

Other fact that comes to testify the good writing of Rowling is this book winning the best-novel title in the Hugo Award, joining a gallery of which are part books like "Foundation", "Ringworld", "Startide Riding", "Ender's game" and so many other excellent ones.

In "Goblet of fire" we see Harry Potter no more as a kid, but as a young man already. As always, new and interesting characters are introduced to make company to Rony, Hermione, Hagrid and professor Dumbledore, among others.

The story of this fourth book is much more un-childish and serious, as is Harry himself. The final hundred pages can be said to be dark, with a touch of noir. And, reaching the middle of the series, we have something that will haves us, Harry Potter fans, completely hooked for the final three books.

Grade 9.6/10

Summary: Good book, but probably my least fav of the 4
Review: Spoilers ahead...

Is it just me or are there some disturbing plot holes in this one? Quidditch is cancelled for the year and Harry Potter essentially doesn't care? Hmm.. Also, in the 5th installment we learn of PolyJuice Potion which forces people to tell the truth. Why was this not used in book 4 to save Sirius? And howcome Harry and his cronies didn't use that awesome map more often before Moody got ahold of it? And finally, it seems like the plot lines in the books are getting more and more outlandish. I still think the first one was the best. I think Rowling may be sacrificing predictibility and opting for more far fetched plots instead.

Summary: How Does She Do It?
Review: This series keeps getting better. I just spent the better part of the last 3 days reading this book--I could not put it down. Without a doubt this installment was my favorite in the series, of course I said that about the third one and the second one too...Rowling really out did herself this time. Am I'm thrilled it is paperback...the new price should allow even more readers to find deep pleasure in this book. The characters are deeper and growing up. The book has a darker tone, but it all fits the way of the teenage world. I applaud Ms. Rowling for being true to the growing up issues as well as the magic. A beautiful mediation on growing up and facing those attendant fears. Bravo! Allow me to add my voice to the chorus awaiting Book 5.

Summary: They just keep on getting better and better
Review: This was the best harry potter book yet. Even though it is long, you never want to stop reading it. There are many twists and turns which make the book very exiting. If you liked the other Harry Potter books you'll love this one. Or if you have never read the other books you will still love this one.

Summary: Just read it!
Review: I had heard the raving of Harry Potter fans for a couple years now, and my father has been after me for the last year and a half to read them. I had to go in for gallbladder surgery and was out of commission for a week from work. My dad brought over books 1-4 and I finished the first three in that many days. The fourth - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire took a little longer. J.K. Rowlings seems to be reflecting the fact that Harry is getting older in her own writing. This book gave me the chills at the end when (once again) Harry comes face-to-face with evil. (I would elaborate, but that would ruin it).

The book is about a contest that Hogwart's re-instates after many years of not having it - because too many contestants die during the games. New rules that only allow the older students to enter have been established, but somehow Harry's name is entered and drawn from the Goblet of Fire. Now Harry must participate in the contest, pitting his wits against two students from other magic schools and one from his very own Hogwarts.

This is an excellent series for people who have vivid imaginations and like to believe in magic. For those who speak out about devil worship being glorified with Harry Potter, I must roll my eyes and point out the word FICTION. Fans of C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia will probably find these to be excellent books.

Summary: Tears made the Rocky Lake!
Review: I used to think Harry Potter is the best book ever. But now I'm sure there's lots of book better than Harry Potter.I think you will get surprised if I say that Little Women is better than Harry.Though,I love him very much,he is perfect, interesting and a hero in my mind.
Harry Potter is in 4th grade of Hagwartz witchcraft and wizardly school. He's gonna go there for 3 years.3 years without Dursleys!Imagine! He has lost his parents, they've been killed by Lord Voldmort and he lives with his aunt family in vacations. They don't treat him well,he doesn't like them.
In Hagwartz, there's lots of fun. Flying with broomstick, fighting with one of the worst boys,Draco Malfoy and having fun in Quiddich Sport which is somehow like FootBall but the balls use to fly! Harry has a friend named Ron Weasley who is a poor, but no matter rich or poor,he can be a best friend anybody ever have had.Harry has another friend named Hermony Grenger too.She is th best student in the whole school. Her parents are muggles it means that they aren't witch or wizard. Harry's aunt family are muggles too,it cause that they behave very bad with Harry because they think he is a disgrace for their family.
Harry meet the dark Lord once more in the 4th grade. In the last 3 grades he met him and bitted him.But the forth grade is different. The Lord who had lost his power and worked with body of another person, come back, with his power because he drank Harry's blood at the end. And all these happens in a race.
But one problem of these series was that everytime Harry won in the wars with Voldmort. But J.K.Rowling solve it in the last book,I'm sure Harry didn't won the race, actually, the dark Lord won it!
If I'm going to tell you more, there's no need to read it anymore.
You will enjoy it,it's the best adventure anybody can ever have.
"Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire" made me cry alot. I was reading it in a picnic with my friends. But I couldn't stop it and go and play with others,so I sat down under a tree,on a rock and read it to the end.And my tears made a lake in a whole in the rock.
J.K.Rowling was poor one day but she got rich after publishing Harry Potter.I'm waiting for the fifth book of Harry to come through. It will come just two months later than now. ...

Summary: I love that Harry Potter!
Review: I've heard about this "Harry Potter" from friends and family. Being a clay aficinado myself, I can relate to "Harry's" antics. I get the clay stuck in my hair too if I don't use a scrunchy or a simple bandana. I was a little confused by the "magic" references and I'm not sure what this "Hogwarts" place is, but if they support clay then I say, "Yea." I was very impressed with the "Goblet of Fire" as I recall my own first experience with the kiln. I lost my eyebrows. I highly recommend this for all potters who love reading about clay mishaps.

Summary: Rowling is definitely a Veela.
Review: God! I don't want to go saying that I'm obsessed, but this book got me craving for the next one so much, that I can't seem to be able to read anything else right now. (and I'm 24 !)
I can't believe that I still have to wait at least 3 years to find out what's going to happen. I'm definitely sure that Rowling still have many secrets about the night when harry's parents died.
I read book 2 and 3 in One take. I couldn't put them down, although I usually started around midnight, and I finished them in the morning, and it's not like I don't have anything to do with my life, but I CAN'T PUT THE BOOK DOWN. It's quite haunting, especially this one. I'm 100% sure that this series is going to "out-classic" any children's litterature books (or perhaps fiction litterature, period). Goodbye Dr. Seuss, charles perrault, and the anderson brothers, here comes J.K. Rowling. Only if she could write the next 3 parts in one take, and ease the torture on us, PLEASE!

Summary: Harry comes out on top
Review: My sister-in-law got me started on the whole series of Harry Potter currently available. I absolutely did not think I would like it. I am very particular about the authors I read. I can only get into certain books written by certain people. Well, J.K Rowlings is an excellent writer. She draws you into the story with the first page and leaves you dangling until the last page. I am 24 years old and I really enjoyed the books immensely. IF you think you won't be able to enjoy it because you are not young at heart, or you don't think you would enjoy a "child's" book, you will be completely mistaken here. Don't miss out on a fantasy that is beautifully written and everyone's dream as a
child.
