Rating: Summary: Harry Potter Goblet of Fire Review: This book was up to every expectation. I am 54 year old student in elementary edcation. Am in Children's Literature class and we read Vol. 2. Pleasure in reading Volume 4 equal to that of my first read of Gone with the Wind when I was 14. Excellent plot development; something for everyone; and believable dilemmas for all of the young people. Not too long and a real page turner. ...

Rating: Summary: Magic again and again and again.... Review: The miracle goes on! Mrs. Rowling defeats TV again! (of course, probably in the near future, we'll start seeing Harry Potter TV animations, and interactive CD roms and movies and stuff. But, for now, the original Potter version intended for READING - and using our minds- is far better the best experience!) I was fortunate enough to have this 4th book in my hands as soon as it was possible! And I just did finish it a few minutes ago... Well, I won't spoil anyone's fun and I won't say a word on the surprises included in there. And, second... I don't know if I'll be the first person saying this, but... I'M ALREADY EAGERLY WAITING THE FIFTH POTTER BOOK! Go for those Gobblets! You'll feel alive, and happier ...and more magical than ever! Thanks, Mrs. Rowling! God bless you and Harry! Rating: Summary: Wow! I stayed up all night, and am I tired! Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was worth the wait. You can, for once, believe the hype. I stayed up all night reading this book after buying it at midnight at my local bookstore. It's even better than the first books. Harry gets into a lot of trouble in this massive book. I don't want to ruin the story for you -- just go out and buy it. Thank you, J.K. Rowing, for another installment in this great series. When's the next one coming out? I'm going to read this one again soon.
Rating: Summary: Another one of those great books! Review: I couldn't put it down! This book is a MUST READ for people of all ages! J. K. Rowling really knows what she is writing, and has this great way of telling it to us - making us feel as if we are in this fantasy as we read it! I will definitely not spoil the book for you, you will jut have to read it. It was written so well, I couldn't put it down! I can't wait to see the upcoming movie- ... Enjoy your reading!

Rating: Summary: long but worth it. Review: I am a 23-year-old college student who loves these books. That said, I thouroughly enjoyed the new book. I started it and I just couldn't stop. Younger children may find it very disturbing and scary, Rowling's characters are begining to grow up and their lives are becoming filled with more concerns than just who gets the best grades. The length of the book is necessary in order for the story to be set up...she is very obviously trying to set the stage for the next 3 books. Harry and his friends do not always have an easy time of it...jealousy, death, evil, and social consciousness are all subjects that they have to grow through in this book. The tone of the book is very dark with many comedic helpings from Fred and George, who are starting to think beyond Hogwarts, and to what they want to do with their lives. A lot of this book is about that, taking stock of the present and looking to the future. Some might find it a little boring, but I didn't I loved every page and enjoyed the little stories that all seemed to fit in with the return of...ah, but that would be telling wouldn't it? :)
