Summary: It was the farthest thing from boring there is!
Review: I just finished the fourth Harry Potter book and I really liked it. The beginning has an interesting twist that someone who's read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets might notice. The neat thing is it puts in pieces from the other books that are fun to figure out, like I AM LORD VOLDEMORT and the name it comes from. The whole book was great, not boring like you would imagine a 734 page book being, but the ending really had my heart beating FAST. It was terrifying! I kept trying to convince myself that it was only Harry's dream.

Summary: Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire
Review: If I could give this book 10 stars, I would without a doubt. Some think that Harry Potter is childish, and only for children. That is not so. Harry Potter is for all ages. Incase your wondering, Harry Potter, is a 14 year old wizard, that goes to a wizard school named: Hogwartz. There he meets his many friends, Ron, Hermoine, Hargrid and many more. This book is suspensful, funny, emotional, and just plain stupendious! This book, and all the Harry Potter series are a must buy. Grab Harry Potter and The Sorcers Stone, and youl be hooked! Enjoy!

Summary: Rowling triumphs again with the fourth Harry Potter book
Review: After reading the first book in this series in October 1998, I have been obsessed with Rowling's accounts of Harry Potter and his experiences at Hogwarts, a school for wizards and witches. Each book in the series develops the characters more fully, and the plots increase in complexity. The fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, achieves more complex characterizations of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Draco Malfoy, and, of course, He Who Must Not Be Named. The tone darkens somewhat, and the evil ones begin to threaten more forcefully. As did Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, this novel contains several sinister adults. These evil ones continue to present Harry with increasingly complicated tasks and challenges. A sense of mystery pervades the book. Can Harry continue to prevail over Voldemort? Why does he have to spend every summer with the Dursleys? What does Dumbledore see as good in Snape and Hagrid? Will Harry develop romantic interests in young witches at Hogwarts? Just as Rowling had promised, these issues are addressed in this book, and many important questions are answered. This terrific author spins this fourth tale skillfully, including the delightful details that are characteristic of her wonderful style in the first three novels. Without a doubt, this book will please readers of all ages. The elements of a fantastic tale reside within the 734 pages of this novel, and no reader will be disappointed in what Rowling has crafted in this book. Now, how long must we wait for Harry Potter V?

Summary: Worth waiting for!
Review: This has to be the best in the series. JK Rowling worked very hard this past year creating an outstanding 4th addition to Mr. Potter's adventures. It is long book, but written well and easily read. She reminds the reader of past information which refreshes your memory and helps you stay with the story. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I spent the WHOLE day in Harry's world and loved every minute of it!

Summary: HARRY POTTER IS AWESOME! J.K. ROWLING HAS DONE IT AGAIN!
Review: Harry Potter is terrific! The book is full of suspense, surprises, and it's very long, which is a good quality in a goodbook. It's a total page-turner, and it keeps you intrigued right up to the last word. J.K. Rowling is a genius! She's done it again!

Summary: Better than the rest!
Review: JK Rowling has outdone herself this time. This 700 page sequel to the first three Harry Potter books is the first sequel that I think outdoes the original. After books two and three came out, I still throught book one was the best. But now, with book four, I have changed my mind! This book is great! Everyone should take the time to read it! Every page will make you laugh, gasp, cry, or move you to the edge of your seat. Definately darker than the first three, this Harry Potter has more attitude and is more suspenceful than any one before. Reccomended for all ages!

Summary: She's done it again -- but who's surprised?
Review: I think Harry Potter may well prove to be the fad diet of theNaughties: the moment I purchased "Harry Potter and the Goblet ofFire" at Barnes & Nobles' midnight party, petty habits like eating and sleeping were put on the back burner until the last page had been turned. It's well known by now that Rowling's prose draws you in (enchants you, if you will), and the fourth installment in the series is no exception. Never have I had the pleasure to read a series that has gotten *consistently better* with each sequel.. not until Harry Potter, that is. After staying up far too late last night, I stumbled out of bed and brought the newest book with me to the gym, drawing some interesting looks from the folks around me as I kept my eyes riveted to the pages instead of the treadmill readout. My only regret is that I couldn't continue to read it when I did my laps in the pool! =) Rest assured, those who doubted, that Rowling has, once again, surpassed herself. Not since Roald Dahl have I enjoyed so-called "children's books" so immensely; Rowling's dark sense of humor and knack for the fantastic remind me of such classics as "The Witches" and "Matilda," favorites of mine since I was a young'n. But curse the woman for writing so well -- it takes me one day to read the books, and a year for the next to come out! That's what rereading is for, though, I suppose.

Summary: One thick book full of mystery, terror, and wonder!
Review: I think that I speak for everyone out there when I say howexcited I was to finally get my hands on this book! I just finishedreading all 734 pages and J.K. Rowling has truly outdone herself with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Year four is a very different one for all the Hogwarts students- There will be no school quidditch(gasp!), and Voldemort and his followers continually gain power throughout the year, there is a particularly troublesome news reporter, and many other mysterious and odd charachters for Harry, Ron, and Hermione to ponder...The plot was entertaining with a very suprising yet fitting ending. The book has all of JKR's humour, trademark creative names, and new quirky charachters. The Goblet is another one for the recordbooks and for the enjoyment of children of all ages! After The shock at the end of the book, JK leaves us with a bit of a cliff-hanger for book five(sigh), we will all have to wait patiently(or impatiently)until next time! We will at least have a vague Idea of where the plot has to go next year after all the myriad happenings this year at Hogwarts!

Summary: Can this book be any less than 5 stars?
Review: Of course, the eagerly awaited Harry Potter #4 had a great deal of hype to live up to. Okay, that's an understatement -- it had an INSANE amount of hype to live up to. But, have no fear, my fellow Harry Potter aficionados, THIS BOOK IS GREAT. I'm a speed reader, and I tore through this like you wouldn't believe. I haven't left my house all day, after buying the book at midnight at a late night Harry Potter party at a bookstore in San Francisco. The length was daunting, but by no means insurmountable, and I was glad it was so long...the other Potter books ended WAY too soon for me to really savor them. There are some amazing twists, but there's no way I'm going to spoil it (I hate reviews like that!), so I'm going to end my review so I can start to read it again!
