Summary: Fun Book All Around
Review: If you like the Harry Potter Series then you'll love the fourth installment of this wonderful series. You won't be able to imagine all of the trials and tribulations of Harry Potter and his friends as they attend their fourth year at the Wizarding School "Hogwarts". This book is J.K.R. at her best. Order now and read the whole book in one night like I did. I can't wait till the fifth one comes out!

Summary: Potter is on FIre Again
Review: In the latest book in this incredible series, Harry finds himself in the midst of a contest between three other wizard schools - a contest that he initially wants no part of. A contest that may also lead him to more revelations about his parents and You-Know-Who!

The story itself is fast paced and it is brought to life again by Jim Dale. People who have listened to the other adaptations read by Dale will agree that he does an excellent job and this time is no exception.

The only problem with this book/cd is that at the end, you know that you have to wait until next year to find out what happens next.

Summary: As good as the 1st three
Review: I bought the book yesterday morning and finished it last night. Loved it. Don't let the length of the book (over 700 pgs) scare you. The only problem now is waiting for Book 5

Summary: A deeper and darker chapter in the saga of Harry Potter...
Review: I read Goblet of Fire in about 9 hours. I wouldn't recommend reading the book that quickly. There is just too much information to absorb in such a detailed book. It was good though I wish I had taken my time and carefully read it. It is obvious that Ms. Rowling has darkened the books extremely. I wouldn't recommend this book for a child of ten and under as it has more mature subject matter than previous books. For anyone eleven or older, this is a good book to read and I recommend it highly as it is possibly the best book in the series.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: Even though it was 734 pages long, not one word of Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire is boring. The whole story is basically about the strange happenings to do with the Triwizard Tournament, an competetition that hasn't been held in a 100 years due to the death toll rising to high in previous competitions. There are many other things going on too, dealing with some particaurlly nasty teachers, handling biting skrewts in care of magical creatures class, and getting up the nerve to ask a girl to the Yule Ball. It is never dull, and the hundreds of pages will zoom by in no time. Don't take my word for it though, ask anyone that's read it. They will all tell you the same thing. This book is amazing.

Summary: Goblet of Fire: A Marvel of Modern Fantasy
Review: As a sixteen year old male, most would think that the Harry Potter series would't appeal to me. However, the writing itself is of a quality that is oft unseen in many books aimed at an older audience. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the newest book in the series, reaches a pinnacle of quality.

J. K. Rowlings outdid herself this time. The massive novel, almost the length of the first three combined, has the development of plotlines that were first seen in the first novel. Events forecast in the previous novels reach a head, and envelop the reader as they change the wizarding world as we know it. Many figures of authority are exposed as corrupt, and those thought corrupt are shown to be truly on the side of Harry, Dumbledore, and all those who would stand with them.

As a whole, the series is good enough for any young person who might wish to read it. However, as with many other media, the greatest fans of the series are outside the target audience. Whether a teacher, who sees a child whom they've had trouble teaching to read standing in line to buy, or someone like myself, who sees the true value of the novels for someone older than the target ten or eleven, these novels, Goblet of Fire especially, are a fine example of modern fantasy. J. K. Rowlings deserves to be ranked among such as Mercede Lackey, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Melanie Rawn as the best authors of modern fantasy, no matter the target audience. After all, it hasn't stopped me from reading them yet!

Summary: Another Wonderful Installment in the Harry Potter Saga
Review: Ah! Another book, another success. This book, although not the best, is by far the longest, and provides everyone with a good dose of Harry Potter. My son and daughter both love this book, and they read it back to back.

Wonderful!

Summary: This Book is Very Good
Review: This book is very good. Everyone should read it even though these people at amazon.com rated it only good for people that were 9-12 years old. The Washington Post said it was good for people of all ages which I strongly believe in. Anyways this book has good content. Thanks for reading my book review.

Summary: wonderful!
Review: I just received this book yesterday, and it was so good I haven't put it down since! Rowling seems to be aiming it towards more mature readers as Harry and his friends grow older, but she hasn't lost the charm she always puts into her characters. This is a great book, and as usual, she leaves you waiting impatiently for the next book! Only another year to go!
