Rating: Summary: Another Marvelous Masterpiece! Review: I'm not going reveal any secrets about the plot but will simply say that I could not put this book down and read through it in one (very long) sitting! Another Marvelous Masterpiece by Rowling!
Rating: Summary: the best yet Review: i think this is the best Harry Potter book yet. At first it foces on a murder that is interesting. Then u find out what Voldermort or You-Know-Who looks like as a snake this is a very good book
Rating: Summary: The Goblet of Fire Review: I just finished reading The Goblet of Fire about ten minutes ago, it is now 9:00pm, it is, without a doubt, the best book i have ever read. It puts in just the right amount of adventure, action, horror, drama, and romance to turn out the most interesting book perhaps many will enjoy. I got the book yesterday (saturday, june 8) and have not put it down for almost 36 hours. I hope anyone that reads this will read the book, and enjoy it as much as i did. I would also recomend anyone wanting to read this book read the other three, otherwise it can be very confusing. I was shocked to find out Ce- no, read the book to find out who dies, although i was glad that it was no one immediatly close to Harry. I thought the Goblet of Fire was going to have a much bigger role in the story than it actually did. I dont want to talk to much about the Triwizard Tournament or i might get sued or something, but JK Rowling is one of the best writers i have ever read, and i hope she keeps on writing these books for a long time.
Rating: Summary: A FABULOUS READ! Review: This, the fourth harry potter book, is fabulous! While hormones start to kick in, something very special and new is coming to hogwarts! And He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is trying to rise again... its length makes it more enjoyable!
Rating: Summary: Wonderfully Written, But still not perfect. Review: Saying i at all disliked the book would be a complete lie, (It was one of the best books i have read, and i finished it in 2 days), but there were some things that dissapointed me.But first, i will explain why I liked the book so much. Its most prominent feature is how imaginative it is. There is hardly one thing in the book that is hard to visualize, this would not be such a prominent feature, except for the amount of made up magical things in the book, everything is described beautifully. Also, the main charachters are all quite likeable, and you want to find out what happens to them, making it a real page turner. And lastly, the adventures they go on are always unexpected, and the book is very exciting. With all that said, it seems there would be very little one could find that was negative about this book, and this is true, but there are still a few things i disliked, all of them having to do with the charachter development. Probably because this book was written for young children, no-one in the book truely seemed freightening, and i thought that the evil charachters didn't seem quite evil enough. The only other problem with the book, (and the far greater one in my mind) is that there was a quite unnexpected change in a charachter at the end of the book, and nothing that happened through the rest of the book seemed to lead up to it, it was just sort of thrown at you, which was slightly annoying. These two bad points, however, barely detract from how wonderfull the book is, and I strongly urge anyone who dosn't already have a copy to get one!
Rating: Summary: A big kid really loved this book. Review: While this book started off a little slow (the first chapter not that great), the rest of the book was fantastic. I recieved my book from Amazon at noon on Saturday and have spent the last 30 hours reading it every spare minute. As usual the dialogue and characters are great. Probably the best of the series.
Rating: Summary: The Darker Side of Harry Potter Review: This book proves that Harry Potter isn't just for kids. It's much darker and has this morbid feeling throughout the book. Much different in atmosphere than the other three books. But that isn't such a bad thing. This book is more grand than the other three and deals with a large issue: Voldemort coming back. The ending was the best. But not for the squeamish. Overall, this was a good book. Probably my favorite in the series so far. But it was very different from the others.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: "WHAT!" exclaims Harry. "No QUIDDITCH? " Well, that's exactly right, Harry, yes, you heard Dumbeldore correctly. But, instead, there is something much, much, better. Get ready Ladies and Gentelmen, announcing the Triwizard Tournament, which hasn't taken place in over 100 years! There are, hard to believe, but yes folks, it's true, there are TWO, I repeat 2, other schools of Magic: Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. Guess who turns out to be at Beauxbatons, none other than a part-veela girl named Fleur, and Quidditch all-star, VIktor Krum, at Durmstrang. Well-guess who gets chosen for the Hogwarts student(s)? Cedric Diggory, and none other than-HARRY POTTER! But how could he, you have to be over 16 to enter? Read Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire and find out!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: I loved the book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. J.K. Rowling left me hanging on to her every word from suspense. Like the other three Harry Potter books Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was a detailed mystery with a suprising ending. I would recomend this book to anyone searching for a magical adventure that will leave them waiting for more. To anyone who has read the other three books in the Harry Potter series, I believe that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my favorite so far. Though I will admit by far the longest! To those who haven't read the Harry Potter series, the books are similar to those written by Roald Dahl and Eva Ibbatson. Also, I would suggest reading the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Harry Potter book before reading the fourth. This would make Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire seem less confusing. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Begins with Harry (a young wizard)spending his summer holiday with the Dursleys (his aunt, uncle, and cousin). But soon he is off to his friend Ron's house for a special treat. Soon Hary and Ron are off to there magical school (Hogwarts)to find a huge suprise for them and the other students. As the school year rolls allong Harry meets up with many things such as,a Goblet of Fire, a reporter that really bugs them, 3 important tasks, a complete disaster, and maybe even a duel. I really enjoyed these events. I LOVED Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: I just finished this book and it was really neat. It was also really long. I liked the fact that they had something different for a change, the Triwizard Tournament. I liked it because it had a lot of action.
