Summary: J.K. Rowling has done it again!
Review: Although I am not done reading "Harry Potter and theGoblet of Fire," almost everyone can appreciate this book. It hasgreat storywriting produced by, the now legendary, J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter is starting his fourth year at Hogwarts Wizarding School, and is maturing gradually. Harry is also going to the Internation Quidditch Cup with his dear friend, Ron and Hermione. It seems that J.K. Rowling is trying to also mature the book, not just Harry and company. There is more constant swearing like the occasional "damn" or "hell." Nothing too big to worry about, but parents with very young children to take notice of this. Along with swearing, the Harry Potter series seems to be taking a lot more time divulging into the Dark Arts. J.K. Rowling has introduced us to many new people that we only know very little of (Charlie & Bill Wealsey, for example), and she does it with grace. The character development is flawless. "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is definitely the best and obviously longest of all the Harry Potter books. Definitely worth going to the book store for.

Summary: A fantastic continuation to the series
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire lives up to the promise of the three preceding books. Rowling keeps her fans happy by building on popular themes from the last three books (Qudditch, Harry's rivalry with Malfoy, Hagrid's love of dangerous creatures, ect.) while introducing new characters and themes that will (most likely) be important in later books. While I enjoyed this book very much, be forwarned that it is indeed darker than the other books in the series, and may not be appropriate for very young children.

Summary: I can't get enough Harry Potter
Review: I LOVE this book it's no wonder it's selling so well everyone whos picked up a Harry Potter book doesn't put it down until they're done. JK Rowling has created a magical world with interesting character, foods, sports and more! When you pick up a Harry Potter book you pick up a new life with wizards, witches, ghosts, spells and TONS of adventres! This is a great book a little long but each page is worth it! I recomend this book to anyone!

Summary: LOVED IT!
Review: This is another of J.K. Rowling's wonderful books.

I must say I was very surprised with the content of the book. I'll try not to give away any spoilers but I was surprised at how certain things came to pass regarding Voldemort. I don't think I'll be giving anything away to say that I really liked the TriWizard Tournament and the fact that we got to meet students from other schools.

Keep it up J.K. Rowling. We're eagerly expecting the rest of the series!

Summary: The great story continues!
Review: The Goblet of Fire stays true to the first three in the series and builds on Harry's awesome tale. Somewhat of a darker book than the others and, thankfully, much longer since it'll be a while before we get number 5. Highly recommended!

Summary: The best Harry Potter book!
Review: Since I am reviewing it very early after the book came out (three days), I don't want to say much about it, but I will in a few weeks though. It just has great plot turns, and a very unexpected ending. My only gripe is that it was obvious who was going to die.

Summary: When's Number 5 coming out?
Review: Absolutely loved Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire! I got it on Saturday at lunchtime & finished it by Saturday evening. Couldn't put it down! Amazing story! I am now reading to my daughters - some parts scary for younger kids, but there is plenty of laughter to lighten it up. Way to go Ms. Rowling!

Summary: Awe-inspiring, fantastic, page-turning tale!
Review: Got the book Saturday morning (one copy for me, one copy for my 7-year old). Immediately, we sat on the couch and began to read. With a shorter attention span, my son would get up, play games, watch tv but would ultimately lug his book around the house. I didn't get off the couch till nearly sunset. I then stayed up most of the night and finally finished sunday afternoon.

Considering that my husband was leaving for a 7-day business trip on Sunday and my son and I virtually ignored him should say something. Yes, my friends, it's THAT good. I am completely blown away and almost weepy when I finished the book because I know it'll be months and months till the next installation.

In the meantime, when i get home from work, i'll be re-reading my favorite sections. it should sustain me for a while.

JK Rowling is a master!

Summary: Stunning -- an effort worthy of the first three installments
Review: Harry Potter has long been a book not just for children, but for adults as well. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is Rowlings' best work yet -- it not only lives up to the expectations of the first three installments, but it exceeds them in terms of excitement and plot development. Never before has Voldemort seemed so terrifying, never before has Harry been so brave, and never before have we been so enthralled by the possibilities. . . What will happen in the Triwizard Tournament? Will Voldemort reappear? Will Harry (*gulp*) express his true feelings to Cho? Where's Sirius? And who the heck is this paranoid Moody? Rowling has presented us, the reading public, with a stunning work. It's impossible to put down. My Fed Ex arrived at 2 p.m. Saturday, I had started the book by 2:30, and by 9:30 was wiping my brow as I finished the final page. If you're looking for a keep-you-on-your-toes kind of book, Goblet of Fire is for you.
