Rating: Summary: ~Spellbindingly Splendid~ Review: The children from our reading club are simply delighted with this book -- and all preceeding titles. I'm grateful to Ms. Rowling for creating Harry Potter and providing such a wonderful role model wherein a child could emulate Harry's self-discovery while enjoying such captivating adventures! I enthusiastically recommend HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. Thank you, Ms. Rowling!
Rating: Summary: J. K. Rowling has done it again! Review: J. K. Rowling has done it again! This is a wonderful fourth book and keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is just as good if not better then the previous books, and very well written and well thought out. It keeps the reader guessing with it's many twists and turns, and turning back to previous pages as everything begins to fall into place. I highly recommend this book to readers of all ages!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter IV Review: The other Harry Potter books were really great--but this one just tops it off. People who like to be frightened by what they read will love the ending: it is about as scary as all the other books put together. In book 4 there is the death of a Hogwarts student, but Harry also, finally, finds love. For everyone who loves a long read, this is the book for you. It is 734 pages of pure enjoyment.
Rating: Summary: Best book of the Harry Potter series! Review: After reading this book I am eager for the relese of Harry Potter 5, but am sad to know it will come out in about, if not more than, 6 months. It was very imaginative will great detail, and a good story. It starts out talking about an old man who use to work for the Riddles, a family who mysteriously died. 50 years later the old man goes back into the house, suspecting teenagers have started a fire, but finds a man named Wormtail, and you- know-who. But I've said enough already! I also heard that J.K. Rowling also signed a contract for the movie. That could be good...
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Sorrsors stone Review: This was an amazing, fantastic book. The suspence when Harry and Ron went out to talk to Hogrid, in the invesdabilaty clock, was by far the best eye catcher that I have ever read in all my life in reading books. I am not a pro in reading books, but I have read many and some were dull but Harry Potter was by far the best book I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: After the long wait, He is back! Review: "The Goblet of Fire" arrived on my doorstep on Saturday, and it took a day to plow through the (immense!) book. Rowling's writing is very entertaining, and I really wish the next three were already available.Overall, I say this book is definitely on par with Rowling's previous three chronicles of Harry's years at Hogwart's. The characterization, details, and plot are very enjoyable and entertaining, and previous readers will feel right at home with this latest book. Although Azkaban is my favorite so far (I love the ending!). Goblet of Fire is definitely in the running for my favorite year. The ending was VERY dramatic and exciting, and a cliff-hanger in someways. This book really sets up the next three years well, and we can be sure the excitement is just beginning!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter IV Better then Ever! Review: I gave this book five stars because of the writer good plot and the way she explaned everything in the book. I am not going to tell about the story much because I don't like spoiling stuff but it was a very good book I recommend you reading the first three before this one.
Rating: Summary: a really long read, but its worth it! Review: this book was great, like all the others, but it a little more intese and some might think some parts are scary =P the summary is kind of complicated but ill try to explain it. mostly its about an event at hogwarts thats taking place, and it hasent been held for a hundred years because some people have died from it. to make sure no one gets seriously injured, only people ages seventeen and above can enter, but someone enters harry in the contest anyway and he gets chosen. the antagonists in this book turn out different than i expect, the plot is more intricate and you will discover some things about voldemort.
Rating: Summary: J. K. Rowling does it again! Review: This wonderful book is a continuation of the engrossing saga ofHarry Potter and his friends and is truely for people of all ages. There are some situations in this book which can encourage discussions between parent and child, (for example the death of one of the characters). As with the other Harry Potter books, this book shows you that there are many ways to solve problems. Above all, if you are true to yourself and your friends you will make the right decisions in life. The adventure and magic in this book are equal to the standards J. K. Rowling set in the previous volumes. I think it will be enjoyed equally by ages 9 to 112.
Rating: Summary: Need a tall Butterbeer after this one! Review: Had to read this one twice before I could comment. It's great to catch up with all our favorite characters plus the new ones (I had a teacher with an eye like Moody's). Do the elves need a union? Hermione to the rescue! Like the teenagers they've become I find myself either cheering for or yelling at the characters, especially during the partnering for the big Christmas dance. The Triwizard Tournament sequence, cheating and all, was a real roller-coaster ride...especially the ending! So what happens next? The book ends with lots of questions for Rowlings to answer!
