Summary: wow!
Review: i was really impressed with the book as it was sooo long butreally kept me interested in what was happening. the romance betweencho and harry, and hermione and krum, etc was a little stiff. really only just glanced the surface of real life attitudes. The overall aura of the book also is a little more scary. Not particularly horrifying, but panicky or worrisome. All in all a great read! (i finished it in a weekend)

Summary: Harry's Adventures Continue
Review: The fourth in the series opens a bit differently than the previous books, which makes for a nice switch. There are plenty of great new characters introduced, including Bill and Charlie, Ron Weasley's older brothers. I liked the way Harry was challenged to face tasks in his fourth year, instead of the routine battles with troll, bogarts and ghosts. I did miss the Quidditch matches, but as always the reader is wowed by Harry's flying ability in his faceoff against the dragon. Harry also showed a lot of integrity during task two and it was nice to see that the thing he would miss the most is a person who means a lot to him, rather than a posession. As always, Harry trimuphs over the most difficult of tasks, and ends up in the hospital wing, but it wouldn't be a normal year at Hogwarts for him if he didn't. A great adventure and I can't wait for the next one!

Summary: Harry Potter Rocks!
Review: I think this the best book in the series. It's long, weird, and funny. It's hard to explain what I see in the Harry Potter books they're just cool.

Summary: Something new and fun, again
Review: Unlike some series, the plot and storyline of Goblet does not repeat earlier books in the series. It has plenty of twists and turns, letting us find out more about Harry, his friends, and his enemies. All in all, a delightful addition and, in my opinion, the best so far - all 752 pages should be there.

Summary: A Magical Maze of Intricacies
Review: The Quidditch season may have been cancelled, but JK Rowling still delivered an action-packed, thrilling fourth year at Hogwarts in _Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire_. She has carefully woven threads from earlier novels into this book, and continued the suspense that grows more and more intricate with each novel. The Triwizard Tournament was masterfully crafted and executed, and the appearance of the two oldest Weasley brothers rounded out the family portrait. Rowling has definitely demonstrated that her novels grow more mature with her characters. This one clearly appeals to an older audience, although I am sure the younger Harry Potter fans are giving it their best spell.

Summary: Continues the tale in the same wonderful way
Review: Got the book on Saturday mid morning (thanks to the free FedEx update!) and could not put the book down once I started it! As the book says, this is a pivotal year for Harry as a he matures quite a bit during the course of the book. He learns more about his own past and as usual is subjected to all kinds of ordeals. Just like books two and three, this does not seem like just a sequel but another part of a long saga. The story of Harry Potter is a brilliantly woven tapestry with long threads that span several volumes. Like any great book things start falling into place as the book progresses and everything makes so much more sense. Despite being over 700 pages long (wow!) the book casts a spell on you from which you cannot escape!

Summary: JK Rowling's Pheonix continues to Rise
Review: Embued in the traditions of the English private school system, Rowling's fantasy blends social satire, mystical faerie tale and political commentary, yet never fails to be true to the sensibilities of youth and now adolesence.

Hermoine begins an empassioned campaign to free the house elves complete with badges and membership dues. Harry and Ron struggle with insecurity and jealousy brought on by the need to secure a date for their first boy-girl dance. And, adults at the Ministry of Magic find themselved emdbattled by yellow journalism and the intricacies of bureacratic politics.

All this, with an underlying message of the need to be vigilant in our generosity, true to our hearts, and unsparring in our concern for our neighbors placed in high relief as Harry, Dumbledorf and friends battle the return of dark Lord Voldemort. And in the end it is hope, trust, faith and Harry that carry the day. Perhaps this is why adults and children alike leave Rowling's pages hungry for more nurishment of spirit and fantasy. From the ashes the Pheonix rises. Hopefully Book V will rise from the publisher soon.

Summary: Exelent!
Review: I just finished this book and it was GREAT (do we expect less?) However, it was a little gory. I love the way the author always makes the person you expect least the bad guy. Compared to her other books, I would give this book a 4, not totally up to the usual standards, but VERY good. The only faults I find is that it was a bit gory and she should I spent more time on the world cup. (I love Quiddich :))

Summary: Somehow she managed to make this book better than the last.
Review: Ms. Rowling has done it again and made her latest book better than the last one, which was certainly hard to do. The humor that Rowling has mastered in the other books is still present, but the series does seem to be turning to a more serious side at times. The serious side only adds to the depth of the books though and I definately recommed this book. Some parents of younger fans should be warned that the book definately shows how evil Voldemort can be and should maybe either read the last six or seven chapters out loud to their children or at least be close by. This book is definately worth buying though, I hope everyone has fun with reading it.

Summary: The Best yet.....But the best it yet to come.....
Review: Well once again Jk Rowlings has done it Harry Potter IV The Goblet of Fire is by far the best yet. The 752 page book is well worth reading. Harry Potter on yet another adventure to Hogwarts. And faces New Challenges the whole way. There is one thing that I will stress...You really must read books 1, 2, and 3 (Harry Potter) To really understand and appreciate the book. I am 13 yrs of age and I absolutely love it. So does my younger sister (9) and my parents who I dont think they would like if I gave there ages out heh...The book is good for all ages, it keeps you wanting to read without stop and then all over again...same with the first 3 books except this book is even better considering how long it is...well I hope you get it...its my new favorite book aside from the first 3 and I would recommed this for everyone...Thankyou Jk Rowling for writting it!
