Summary: Harry Potter rules
Review: I liked at the beginng how it was very mysterious and exciting. The book is very fast-paced and exciting. I liked how much we found out in that book also and that there were so many surprises. This book was probaly the best book J.K. Rowling has ever written. I know some might think the book is too long but for me the longer the better. When I was reading the book I wanted it to end so I would know what happened but I also wanted it to never end. I thought nothing could be better than the third book, bur rowling amazed me again and the fourth was the best. I think Rowling is one of the best writers ever. I hope she makes more than seven books.

Summary: Continues the series in fine style!
Review: Tilte summarizes it all. If you liked the first three books, you'll like this one too, and be wanting Book 5! New readers should start with the the first book, instead of trying to figure it all out by starting book 4.

It's long - took a while to get going, I was wondering after the first third if it would be flat and leave the series stranded, but it picked up and drove onwards to a good finish. More information and plot layers are added to the struggle between good & evil. It's turning from an interesting book about a young wizard (Book 1) into a longer series on the struggle between G&E, with Harry taking a more active role. Parallels: the Tolkien "Lord of the Rings" books, the three original Star Wars movies - - with "Goblet of Fire" as the second book/movie.

For me, it fulfilled expectations. Nice job JK Rowling!

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Review: Harry's forth year of adventures at Hogwarts was centered around the Triwizard Tournament. While I missed the Quidditch matches that are usually associated with his exploits, the events leading up to the Triwizard champion's selection and the tournament events were very entertaining. I would not rate this as my favorite of the four novels; however, it held my attention and was very diffficlut to put down (evidenced by my having finished reading it by July 9th, the day after release). The imagery was still just as vivid as the other books in the series. The story line was full of twists and "gee I didn't expect that"s. I did however miss the in class story lines and there were a number of emerging stories that I would have liked more detail on (like Herminoe's encounter with the Daily Prophet reporter), but I guess more detail from a 734 page book is a bit much to ask. I am now eagerly awaiting the release of the year five book. (anyone have an idea when that may be?)

Summary: Its finally out!
Review: I was one of the few to stumble upon an extra copy lying in a bookstore after the books had hit the shelves on the 8th. I bought it ASAP, and read it that night, in one sitting. If you had been paying attention to the reports that a major character dies, and that Harry begins to like a girl, they are all true, but it is not as predominant in the book as I expected, which in my opinion made it the same sorta tale that Harry Potter has always told. While the story was good, and there was still some funny scenes, the book seemed a tad generic. I still loved the book, and all Harry Potter fans need to buy this and read it, and those who haven't read the Harry Potter books, should read them all. There was some major character developments, and scenes that all seemed to be pointing to a wonderful finale of the series. The cliffhanger ending makes me wish that the 5th book was coming out along with this one, and I cannot wait till its release. I liked it!

Summary: Rowling does it again
Review: IF you thought the previous Harry Potter books were good, wait until you read this one! Harry is again in danger, and this book has everything, suspense, mystery, action, and all of those other great things. Plus the book is a lot longer, so it's full of a lot more. You'll have fun with this one!

Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4)
Review: Don't hesitate to buy this because of the length. Each page is as enjoyable as the last as Harry finds his way to face the inevitable. The story does indeed start to tap into the romantic side, but doesn't go too far. Most of the focus is on the Triwizard Tournament held among three of the international wizard schools and all the action leading up to and around it. For readers of the other 3, all of our favorites are there and starting to grow up just a bit. Even if you haven't read the others, this is nonetheless a joyful read.

Summary: Harry's Goblet of Fire fizzles
Review: Perhaps the rush to get out a monster seller diluted the thinking that went into this book. Parents would be better off reading Robinson Crusoe to their kids than the latest version of Harry picks your parents pockets.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: It just keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for Book 5 to come out.

Thank you, Ms. Rowling!

Summary: The best so far!
Review: This book is simply fantastic! I could not put it down from it's unique start to it's suprising end! Definetly the best so far!

Summary: What can I say? I would give it a thousand stars!
Review: I think this book was better than Prisoner of Azkaban. Once again, Rowling has managed to completely shock me with the ending. This book had everything...funny parts, sad parts, scary parts. And it is definitely a darker story...the end will leave you exhausted AND longing for Book 5! Harry faces the greatest challenges of his life (so far). And remember, the villian is NEVER who you think it is...
