Summary: My review for "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".
Review: I LOVED this book! I loved all the books!I think J.K. Rowling was a SAINT for writing these books. One great thing about the seris is that NONE of the stuff that happens at Hogwarts would EVER happen in REAL life! That's the main reason I like it. In fact, I don't know ANYONE in my class who doesn't like ANY of the Harry Potter books!

Summary: Book that keeps you on the edge!
Review: This book is my favorite of the four books- but I'm sure that my new favorite book will be the next one in the series, as it has been like that for each and every other one of them.
When Harry is under his invisibility cloak, and Snape, (who is looking for Harry) passes him by, your heart starts pounding out of your chest as though you were there, hoping the best for Harry. Another great thing about the books is that Harry seems so dang real! When he has homework to do, or information he needs to find out about a mystery he's solving, you know how it feels to procrastinate , as he does. Every single feeling he has is one that everyone can relate to. It's the realism of the books that really draws me into them, and I suggest that anyone looking for a book to read, or is bored, or is extremely busy, or ANYBODY, gets to the store and buys this book, if you are one of the few who haven't already!

Review: Fourth Harry Potter Follows Great Tradition

Many doubted that author J.K. Rowling could outdo herself, but she has proved that Harry Potter is not just a fad. The fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, is by far the best (that has been released) in the seven series collection.

Although Goblet of Fire is fairly long (over 700 pages), action, adventure and mystery pack the pages from beginning to end. I would give anyone a cookie that could guess the outcome of the book.

Continuing in the great tradition, the main character, 'Harry Potter,' now 14 years old, finds himself battling the "Dark Forces" once again in his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The mystery begins at the "Quidditch Cup," a wizard game not unlike the World Cup (except for the minor details like three different balls and people flying on broomsticks). Harry attends the game with long-time Hogwarts friends "Ron Weasley" and "Hermione Granger." The cup is plagued with strange happenings, leaving questions unanswered until the end.

The plot thickens when Harry's name is placed in the "Goblet of Fire," which makes him a competitor in the tri-school tournament. Someone made Harry part of the competition on purpose, but why? And will Harry prove himself as the best? Will Voldemort, the dark wizard that murdered Harry's parents, accomplish his long-awaited plans to finish Harry off? You have to read the book to find out.

For the Harry Potter fan, Goblet of Fire answers many questions left open from previous books. Things come into light.

Those who do not follow the series may have a difficult time with the jargon and references to events that occurred in previous books. However, Rowling does a fine job of recalling past incidents for those who may have forgotten.

The strong use of detail in Goblet of Fire brings out the reader's imagination. The powerful language makes you feel like you are at Hogwarts cheering Harry on. Every emotion is emphasized in the book. I found myself laughing aloud at times and my pulse racing at other moments. I honestly could not put the book down, and found myself thinking about it when I was forced to leave it.

Not only do you wonder what will happen next, but you will also be left yearning for more with the "to be continued-like" ending.

Throughout the book, Harry and his friends encounter adventure that is unmatched by any "children's book" I have read so far. It is not the typical fantasy that some might believe. People of all ages can enjoy the Harry Potter craze and the latest volume, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Summary: A Great Read
Review: This book is so captivating that you can't put it down!
What's new is that Rowling has done away with Hogwarts inter-house Quidditch Cup and replaced it with the Triwizard Tournament. In case you don't read Harry Potter, Quidditch is a sport played on flying broomsticks. If you would like to see how it is played, watch the first movie! Really, the Quidditch match was one of the best scenes in the movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. And did you know that Harry is the Seeker in the Gryffindor Quidditch Team? If I'm not wrong, I think he is the youngest Seeker ever. Anyway, all the good things seem to happen to Harry.
However, Quidditch fans need not be disappointed, because even though there will be no Quidditch Cup, there would be a Quidditch World Cup! Just like the FIFA World Cup that is going on now! Anyway, who cares about Quidditch now, the newest happenings in Hogwarts is the Triwizard Tournament!
As Dumbledore explained, "The Triwizard Tournament was first established some seven hundred years ago, as a friendly competition between the three largest European schools of wizardry - Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. A champion was selected to represent each school, and the three champions competed in three magical tasks. The schools took it in turns to host the Tournament once every five years, and it was generally agreed to be a most excellent way of establishing ties between young witches and wizards of different nationalities - until, that is, the death toll mounted so high that the Tournament was discontinued...However, our own Department of International Magical Co-operation and Magical Games and Sports have decided the time is ripe for another attempt. We have worked hard over the summer to ensure that, this time, no champion will find himself or herself in mortal danger,"

By this time, you probably would think that surely Harry was going to be the champion representing Hogwarts right? Well, that's what I thought too, but Dumbledore continues saying, "Eager though I know all of you will be to bring the Triwizard Cup to Hogwarts, the Heads of the participating schools, along with the Ministry of Magic, have agreed to impose an age restriction on contenders this year. Only students who are of age - that is to say, seventeen years or older - will be allowed to put forward their names for consideration. This is a measure we feel is necessary, given that the Tournament tasks will still be difficult and dangerous, whatever precautions we take, and it is highly unlikely that students below sixth and seventh year will be able to cope with them. I will personally be ensuring that no underage student hoodwinks our impartial judge into making them Hogwarts champion."
Well, I felt that the Tournament was just too important and exciting that I had to tell you all about it in the words of Dumbledore. Now, you must be wondering what "the goblet of fire" is and what it has to do with the Tournament right? Okay, let me clear your doubts. The goblet of fire is the "impartial judge" that Dumbledore was referring to. Students who wish to participate would have to write their names on slips of paper and put them into the goblet of fire. It is enchanted, so slips of paper belonging to students who are not of age would be rejected.
Okay, so you were right, Harry became Hogwarts champion, but wait - so did Cedric Diggory. Right now, you must be saying, "Huh? I thought they can only have one champion per school?" Well, to find out, you'll have to read it yourself! However, I still want to add that actually, Harry's participation was all part of an evil plan as he did not nominate himself.
I liked this book the best out of the other three! Why? For one, I was getting bored with all that Quidditch as Harry nearly always win. In this book Harry and Ron start to notice girls. It seems like Ron is fond is Hermione but doesn't know it. In this book we are also introduced to a new character, Viktor Krum, the champion from Durmstrang. He is Hermione's sort of boyfriend. However, I still must mention that Rowling's Harry Potter books are getting darker and darker. Especially this book as it contains some paragraphs describing the performing of evil rites to restore Voldemort. Also, a good person will be killed by Voldemort. So I think children who read it should have parental guidiance. Maybe that is why some people think Harry Potter books are Satanic.

Summary: Harry is a cool wizard
Review: Harry Potter is a good book to read. I gave the book 4 stars because Voldemort came back to life and Harry is in danger. There is only one exception, the book was too long and the letters were a little bit tiny. The book was awesome with the house-elves and the Triwizard Tournament. It is a cool book and you should buy it.

Summary: The greatest book series ever. Period.
Review: This book is long, but is even better than the first three. You will never put it down until you're done 3 days later and your eyes will be sore. The ending is phenomenal.

Summary: By Far, the Best Book I've ever read!
Review: Harry gets himself into yet more trouble as his name is drawn to compete against other schools of witchcraft and wizardry as a Hogwarts school Champion. He wishes he were just spectating the tournament, but someone put his name in the Goblet of Fire to get him in trouble! Strange things start happening, but Harry gets help from the new Defense Against the Arts Teacher Mad Eye Moody. Harry has taken a liking to Moody until he realizes the awful truth. In the fourth and final task of the tournament, Harry finds himself tied with Cedric Diggory, the only Seeker ever to beat Harry. He encounters Voldemort where Diggory is killed by the UNFORGIVABLE CURSE Avada Kedavra. Harry meets his parents and Voldemort takes away his only protection given to him by his mother that lead to the temporary downfall of the Dark Lord!

Summary: Best of the Best
Review: I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night and I was amazed!! It was (by far) the best book in the series!!! I was never big on the Harry Potter hype, but once I saw the first movie, I was hooked. I've read all of the books within two weeks and am ANXIOUSLY awaiting the fifth book's arrival. :) The character development is excellent in this book and you feel like you know Ron, Harry and Hermoine personally. Bravo to J.K. Rowling!!
