I love that these characters and their emotions are believable. I recommend all these books to adults and children. This latest, although darker, is definitely the strongest yet. For once, I think a book is worth the hype. Too bad I have to wait a year for book five . . .
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: The Longest, the Darkest, and the Best Review: I sat down at lunch yesterday and opened up the new Harry Potter book. My plan had been to read it during lunch breaks for the next few weeks. I ended up taking it home, sitting down, and reading until 2am. It isn't often that I sit down and read 700+ pages in one sitting, but the Harry Potter stories are nothing if not infectious. This is easily the most complex and darkest of the books; touching on political activism, budding sexuality, jealousy, and the dangers of petty beaurocracy. Indeed, in many ways it feels like the second act of a play, bringing the entire cast of characters to their darkest hour, and leaving you with the certain knowledge that the last page is only a pause in a much larger story. All that being said, however, this remains Harry Potter in all its charm, magic, humor, sweetness and delicious tension. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Fourth Is The Best Yet Review: If you liked the first three you will definately like this one. It is by far the best in the series so far.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: As Good As YOU HOped Review: I loved this book. It went to a new level (a little darker), and a total catalyst for the next book which I am depressed I have to wait another year for. Characters are great! Rowling just took it up a notch! Yea!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: I couldn't put the book down. The story was true to the Harry Potter characters as well as teenage fears and foibles. Beware, the ending might be scary to younger readers, but they won't want to stop. You absolutely have to find out what happens.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter is back! Review: In the fictional/fantasy book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling has written the best book yet! It is filled with excitement and adventure. Not only is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire #1 on the childrens' book list, but it is also #1 on the adults' fiction list. Harry Potter is a phenominon all over the world! Not only is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire entertainment and enjoyable for children, but it is also great for their education. In this book, Harry's scar, which is shaped like a lightning bolt, starts hurt again. Everyone knows that when Harry's scar hurts, trouble is not too far behind. The night that Harry's scar hurt, was the night that he had a dream about You-Know-Who and his sidekicks planning to kill Harry. Who knows whats going to happen? I do. And if you want to find out what happens to Harry and the gang, I suggest that you go on the internet, log on to Amazon.com, and order Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter - As good as ever! Review: My 8 year-old son and I prepared for book IV by re-reading books I-III, which was a great way to remember and discover new details about Harry's world. I have now just finished reading Book IV on my own. Ms Rowling did not disappoint! This book was as thrilling and complex as book 3. It's exciting to keep finding out more about the wizarding world through Harry's eyes. This book answers alot of questions about Harry's past but asks alot more as well. The adults know alot more about Harry's family then they are telling him. I guess we will have to wait for future books to answer those questions. In the meantime Ms. Rowling again adds vivid details to this world, and leaves the reader wanting to know when Book 5 will be published. I loved the little jokes and comments on Wizard politics and work. And the bathroom alone is enough to make you want to be a prefect. These books are great for anyone, you don't have to be a child to love Harry Potter. I hope Ms. Rowling doens't stop writing about this world once Harry graduates. And 5 stars to Amazon for sending the the book Fedex! It was great to get the book the same day!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Exciting, Adventurous and Amazing! Review: I'm a real Harry Potter fan (although I'm not a kid anymore). This book is a sequale of her previous books (of course). It's different from the first three books since our Harry gets older and begins to be more emotional. But still, it shouws a lovely friendship between Harry, Hermione and Ron. Although they all grow up and begin to think about boys and girls as "boys and girls", their friendship and the caring for one another is still be the same and this theme makes me happy all the time I read this book.. Recommended!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The darkest and best Harry Potter yet Review: The fourth novel in the Harry Potter series is obviously going to play a pivotal role in the development of the overall plot. At 734 pages, it brings back a lot of characters from previous books, and introduces many new ones, creating a cast that seems likely to unify the books that come before and after. The action is, if possible, more sweeping and epic than in any of the previous stories, and the wait for the fifth book is likely to be the hardest readers have experienced so far. The Goblet of Fire is the most spellbinding yet, but parents of young children should be warned, it is also darker and more frightening than the previous books.
