Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the best!
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the best book! J.K. Rowling includes so much detail in her books. The detail made the book feel like I was actually in it watching everything happen. The characters felt so real. It felt like I knew the knew them. It was so hard to put this book down. It's a very long book, but the book is worthwhile. This book is the fourth book of a series about a boy named Harry Potter. Harry Potter is a wizard who is starting his fourth year at a wizarding school called Hogwarts. He doesn't know that the school year will be a scary, but adventorous one. This school year is very different than others for Harry. If I could, I would give this book six stars.

Summary: A Masterpiece!
Review: This book is by far the best yet. The entire book from cover to cover is filled with excitment, humor, danger and a tiny bit of romance. I know the book is long, but it goes very quick, it's just as addictive as the other three. I highly suggest this book to everybody, Muggles, Mudbloods, and Purebloods alike.

Summary: It's Great!
Review: Harry Potter has seen the Quidditch World Cup and is in a special contest. We have returns of some old friends and old enemies. Will Harry survive the fourth year? Read and find out. (reviewed by a seventh grader.)

Summary: When will she write the next one!
Review: I have been waiting by my mail box since I pre-ordered this book from Amazon. In fact I reread the third book just to make sure I was up to date on what happened last time. Usually when you anticipate something so much it can never live up to your expectations -- but, this one went above and beyond. I could not sleep because of this book -- I had to know what was going to happen to Harry, Ron and Hermoine. Once I got this book, it was difficult for me to put it down to go to work. In this book, you see that Harry and his friends are growing up. Plus, J.K. Rowling gives us a few more strands in the intrict web she is weaving. One of the best parts of this book is that we get to see almost everyone in a new light in some way or another... Another great feature in this book is new students from other schools. Upon first site, I was a little bit intimidated by the size of the book -- over 700 pages, but by the end I wanted at least 700 more pages. I can't imagine that there is anybody who read the other books that hasn't already ran out and bought this book -- but if you haven't, you are missing out! The only problem with this book is that once you finish it you will be asking "WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE COMING OUT! " And from what I understand that might be a really long time from now!

Summary: This Harry Potter will blow you away!
Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is one of the best books I have ever read. In this story, Harry finds out more about his past. He also finds out about Voldemort, the dreaded wizard. I finished this book the day I got it. I have read the three other Harry Potter books not just once, but eleven times, but this book out does them all. I love reading and was delighted that we bought Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire on the day it was released. My younger sister was very upset that I got to read the book before her. She is still mad about this incident! My mother is also in line to read the book.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this Harry Potter and can't wait for J. K. Rowling to finish writing the next three books in the series. Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire is a must read and was worth the wait!

Summary: Consistently fun and exciting
Review: Many series start with an excellent first book and then gradually or suddenly go downhill for the rest of the series. The Harry Potter series does not -- the fourth entry, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" seems as fresh, funny and exciting as the first. Rather than simply being a rehash of any of its predecessors or a blow-by-blow of Harry's next Quidditch match, it breaks new ground in Harry's life, in his art, and in our knowledge of the ways of the magical and Muggle cultures and their interactions. Here at the centre of the series we find Harry's challenges growing more difficult as his capacity to face them grows.

In the process we get new inside and outside jokes -- one of the schools in competition to Hogwarts is called "Durmstrang", which will recall to some minds "Sturm und Drang" -- but without puzzling those for whom it has no other connotations.

J. K. Rowling's touch in imparting moral lessons is very deft: we see the equivalent of football hooliganism, an unsubtle implication that it's provoked by evil people, and a more subtle implication that by exercising self-control one can resist the forces that lead to joining in with it. As before (and more than before), we are shown rather than told that honour and friendship are worthwhile, and that not everything happening to honourable people is fun.

I read my first Harry Potter book at the suggestion of a 13-year-old Amazon reviewer who said that even an adult would enjoy it. I'm over 50, and I appreciate his saying that... I'll return the favour by telling him that even a 13-year-old will enjoy Harry Potter IV.

Well done, Ms. Rowling -- 50 points for Gryffindor.

Summary: Good follow up!
Review: I thought this was a good book. The book was quite long and dragged out but very compelling and interesting. The only thing I didn't really like was that they didn't spend enough time on the dialauge between Ron,Harry, and Hermoine. Also My favorite characters are Fred and George and they did not have a major role in this book either. And there was no quidditch! Well enough with the complaints because this was a really good book! I loved it and I recomend it to kids 8 to 80! Thanks! GOD BLESS EVERYONE AND THEIR FAMILIES!

Summary: Harry Has It!
Review: Once again, Rowling has given her readers an excellent storyfor wizards and Muggles old and young. After weeks of patient waiting,I gobbled up the entire escapade of Harry and company. The challenges for young Potter increase in this story, beginning with the Durstley imposed diet, meant to slim down Dudley. The pace picks up when the Weasleys invite Harry and Hermione along to the Quiddich cup, a major sporting event in the wizarding world. Before long, Harry and his friends have found themselves in the midst of a major stir.... The trio are interested in solving this caper, but the heavy courseload facing Fourth-year students at Hogwarts academy keeps them extraordinarily busy. Will they ever learn [the truth]? It won't take readers long to find out, as it's nearly imposible to put down this laugh out loud suspense; at least I couldn't. Happy reading!

Summary: great book
Review: I have read all of the Harry Potter books like just about everyone else and when i got the new one i stayed up all night and half the next day to read it. It was very unusual! It definatly compares with the other books in the series. A must buy for anyone at all!

Summary: Best one yet!
Review: Harry Potter's 4th year is the best one yet! Just as thrilling and imaginative as the previous three books, Goblet of Fire fleshes out the main characters, and introduces new ones! I loved the expanded role given to Hermione and the entire Weasley family. There's more drama in this one than in the previos, but it's all very plausible and described with care and detail. The wait for this was definitely worth it!
