Rowling could put out one of these books every week, I would be among the millions of people who would be delighted. We waited for a long time for No. 4, and it didn't disappoint for a minute. In fact, I think it is probably the best and most satisfying (and longest, which makes the experience last longer and longer) of the four so far. This one has Harry Potter facing dangers beyond anything that he has faced before, and the ending is one of such marvelous wonder that it brought tears to my eyes. I'm not in the 9-12 reading range, I'm far older than that, but I've devoured all four Harry Potter books so far, and I know I'm not the only above-age Muggle to have done so, because surely there were not 5 million 9-12 year olds to snap up the first printing of this one. Should you be one of those who have refrained from reading the series because you don't run along with the pack ... go run with the pack this time, because it's surely worth it. J.K. Rowling writes with an assured touch that is beyond any complaint. The characters are beautifully drawn, the situations are ones which make you wish that you, too, could be a wizard, or at least a house-elf or half-giant, and all I can say is that I cannot, cannot, cannot wait for the fifth in what the author says will be seven books in this series, and after the seventh one is out (I hope soon), I hope she will change her mind and write as many after-the-seventh books as Barbra Streisand has had "last-of-the-career" concerts. Thank you, Ms Rowling -- thank you, thank you, thank you!

It wasn't a problem with this book even given it tremedous length. The characters you love and hate are all back in this installment including some new characters. The mystery was not predictable and kept me guessing until the end. The humor that we have seen with the previous Harry Potters was present also. Charms, spells, hexes and jinxes are flying throughout this story and you are never sure who is going to get hit. One of the more interesting points was learning how to pronounce Hermione's name. As a mother of three I highly recommened "The Goblet of Fire" to anyone who likes a good tale and wants to see good triumph over evil. The only problem I have is that now I have to wait for the fifth book. Knowing the wait was worth it for "The Goblet of Fire" will make the wait bearable.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wow! Review: I couldn't believe how much more exiting this book was than all the previous Harry Potter books. I loved the plotline, the surprises, the tragedies. They all made the book better. I can't wait for #5. READ THIS BOOK!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: 752 pages of pure pleasure! (wish it was 1000! ) Review: I'm a 38 year-old reader, and I had to get THE BOOK (12.45 am Saturday on my reciept) right away. Read it through- I won't give away the details- yet it lived up to the hype! All parents, and adults who read this and haven't yet got into the series themselves, start with book 1 and read them in order.... you can't go wrong with Harry!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Enjoyable and exciting! Review: I had been waiting impatiently for Book 4 of the Harry Potter series, and it was everything I expected and more. At first, I was a bit shocked to discover that it was 734 pages, but now that I've finished, I can't wait for the next book! The exciting scenes of the Triwizard Tournament kept me on the edge of my seat, and Harry learns of the joys (and miseries) of teenage romances. We learn intriguing information about Hagrid, Lord Voldemort, and the rest of the wizarding world.J.K. Rowling has not disappointed me with a host of new, engaging characters: Mad-Eye Moody, Vicktor Krum, Madame Maxime, Fleur Delacour, Rita Skeeter, and Igor Karkaroff, among others. The battle between good and evil continues... Was all the publicity worth it? Yes! Book Four may be the best book yet, not to mention the longest, scariest, pivotal, and most exciting. If you enjoyed the other Harry Potter books, or love fantasy books, I highly recommend this novel.

Review: Although I thought for sure I would be disappointed, the fourth in the series was even better than the previous three! She continues to weave an entrancing spell on her readers. I couldn't put it down, and finished it the same day I started! I can't wait for five...
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Fun from rowlings Review: One of the best Harry books so far. She brings back some of the best characters and introduces some more fun characters. I love the fact that Harry and Ron had an argument and worked it out and how she showed how much Ron's friendship means to Harry. She did a great job of dealing with Hagrid's differences that would have ordinarily made him scorned and Harry, Ron and Hermonines reaction to learning about Hagrid and what they said to him. One of the best Harry Potter books and one of the funniest. Great for the whole family.

I stayed up late in to the night to read it and I woke up at 5:00 in the morning to read it.Of course the other books in the series are great too but this one is unspeakibly great. It is so amazing how by the first page you are already deeply in love with this book. I cant imagine how anybody could not like this book.I actually feel like I'm there. The book actually pulls yourself in to Harry,Ron,Hermoine, and so many other characters shoes. It is Better than the Best!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: rowlings does it again Review: All the fun characters return. Dobby is funnier in this one than the last. She does a great job of making all the challanges real and fun and unexpected. I Love the way Harry gets help and everyone seems to know what is going on and helping Harry without him realizing he is being helped. This is probably my favorite Harry Potter book yet and I loved the fact that Dudley got paid back of sorts for all the mean things he does to Harry. A great book and I definitely recommend it to everyone. Fun for the whole family.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Must Read Review: In this exciting new adventure Harry and his friends Hermione and Ron are in their fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizzardry. They are once again solving a mystery that could mean life or death. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry finds himself battling heartbreak, friendship, and tough situations. To make matters worse Rita Skeeter, a Daily Prophet reporter, is writing false info about Harry and his friends. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves a funny, thrilling novel that you are unable to put down!
