Rating: Summary: The goblet of fire Review: This is Mrs. Rowling's best book yet. All the magic and suspence is combined to form the best novel so far in the series. Harry and all of his friends enemies, are back in this story, and this proves to be the creme de la creme of all fantasy books. Knowing how much i have waited for this, the book really made all those months of waiting worth it. The detail and description the author provides will make your eyes grow wide with excitment just like mine did. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did.
Rating: Summary: The best book in the world! Review: This is the best book I've ever read. The way Harry solves some of the problems in the book is unbelievable. I couldn't put this book down. I speant 7 straight hours reading it. The legnth of the book is a little over whelming at first. I reccommend this book to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: J.K. Rowling's books just keep getting better and better! In the fourth book, Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for his fourth year. There is never a dull moment in his life, that's for sure! It's hard enough being an everyday kid, but throw in a malicious wizard who has captured the fear of millions in the wizarding world, and there's bound to be some excitement. This is an excellent read and everyone who likes fantasy should read it!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter's Back....... Review: And better than ever. This is the best book of all. It not only has the most twists and turns in it, it has the best ending and it's fun to read. I love Harry Potter! I hope the other J.K. Rowling Books are as good as this!
Rating: Summary: The BEST Ever! Review: I absolutely LOVED this book! It is the best yet. The characters are great (as always) and so is the plot. It's a lot longer than all the others but the plot is a lot more complicated, so it's okay. You have got to read this!
Rating: Summary: J.K Rowling: Couragously raising the bar of Children's Books Review: When I closed the book, I immediately raced to the internet to search for the printing date of the fifth book. That is the highest compliment I can give to Rowling's fast-paced page turner, which has left her many fans (including me) screaming for more . Her brilliant character development in the first three books have bonded her readers to the times of happiness, anger, and sheer terror that Ron, Hermione, Harry and many other characters experience in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Some authors stick to the simple plots in children's books that bring at the most short giggles to the resolution of the petty problems. Rowling is above that, and I applaud her for her courage to break the barrier between books for children and books for adults with this gripping tale that has brought to me everything from squeals of delight to tears of sadness. I anxiously await Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter IV is without a doubt worth buying. Review: This year Harry's adventure started on a different track. He has a horrible nightmare only to be comforted by the thought that he would be away from the Dursley's in a few short weeks. That is sped up by a generous invite by the Weasley's to go with them to the Quidditch World Cup. After spending the rest of the summer with the Weasley's, the gang finally went back to Hogwarts. They arrive at school to find out something has changed this year. They anxiously wait to find out who the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher will be, and what the BIG SURPRISE is.I am a few chapters from the finish, and I have only owned it for a few short days. The Goblet of Fire is too good to put down. Although, if you want to find out what happens, for those who haven't got it yet, I won't reveal anything more. Parents this is a GREAT book so don't pass it up, but don't just give to your kids to read. You can read it too, I guarantee you'll love it.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire Review: I received my book at 11 a.m. on 7/8...I finished it at 1 a.m. on Sunday. This book IS darker than the first three but I found myself laughing out loud several times and on the verge of tears at others. I loved the new characters and enjoyed getting back with my old friends. Once again J.K. Rowling kept me on the edge of my seat with her easy to read style and great sense of mystery and adventure. Now I will find it hard to wait for Volume V!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: This book was a compeling story of a young boy who faces many challenges, not only of adolesence, but of the wizarding world. Harry Potter has again come back in this fourth novel to be challenged by Voldemort and his arch enemy, Draco Malfoy. This book, even though long, was one of the greater books in the series so far. The plot was intreaging, and the story line was carried very well through out the story. I give this amazing book 5 stars, because it is amazing how mystifyingly grand it is.
Rating: Summary: Not all it should have been......... Review: There was simply too much hype surrounding this book to allow my expectations to be met, which were not high to start with. It's funny how much of something people will buy with the suggestion of the media.
