Summary: He's ba-a-a-ack!
Review: It's long... it's pivotal... and yes, it lives up to every inch of the interminable hype. "Goblet of Fire" brings back Voldemort with all his loathsome powers intact, but Harry's learned some new tricks and he's going to need all of them. The series takes a more mature turn in Book Four; it isn't all fun and quidditch by a long shot any more. It should be interesting to see how story plays out in the three books still to come. J.K. Rowling must have wizard blood somewhere in her background; she has captured all our imaginations with a series of books that have become instant and enduring classics since the day of their publication. She's going to have a hard time topping this one, but I have a sneaking suspicion she'll do it once again... and again... and again.

Summary: Exciting!
Review: This is the best book of all the series. During the triwizard events i was on the edge of my seat. This is the first book I've ever gotten so into. I stayed up till three in the morning just to read it. It is well worth your while to stop and read this great book which is sure to be a favorite for years to come.

Summary: a quick note on book 4...
Review: While I may qualify as a child only in my imagination, that is more than enough to enjoy the latest Harry Potter book: the Goblet of Fire. In the simplest of words, I could NOT put it down! There is little question that these novels are getting better with each installment, and I have to say I am very glad I preorder this one! I spent Saturday in my imagination, and it was wonderful. The ending was fantastic (though I will not give away any more than that) and the rest of the story was carried along by equal amounts of daring suspense and lighthearted humor. From Privet Drive to Hogwarts, the Goblet lived up to and outdid its predecessors in a beautiful weaving of multiple story threads. Like the other Potter books, the scenes are well written, the characters intelligently crafted, and the sense of story range with real emotion that has an appeal across age and background. An unequivocal Must Read for anyone who still as a little child somewhere in the imagination.

Summary: Harry Potter does it again . . . . .
Review: This book is fantastic! The antics of Harry, Ron and Heromine are always a treat! They are great characters to grow up with, and there is always something new to learn about them! The plot line draws the reader in, and you can bet you'll be up all night finishing it off! It's a wonderful book, great for all ages.

Lord Voldermort is up to his old tricks, or are they new? New "Mad Eye" invades the scene; along with Rita the roving reporter. Harry's world is turned upside down by false news stories, Hagrid's horrible animals and the Triwizard cup. Can he win it? Or is it not worth it? Watch Harry explode in this awesome 4th novel. =)

Summary: I'm a 49 year old mom
Review: who will finally permit my 15 year old daughter to get her hands on this book - because I finished reading it last night (three days after it was released). The first three books were fun. This one is even better. It's more complex. Harry and his schoolmates are a little older, and much more mature than when we first met them. The situations that they face are more complicated, and they have more autonomy to make decisions and take responsibility for the consequences of their choices and behavior. For the first time, the main characters begin to consider their careers in the wizarding world. "Shall I use my training to become an Auror, or .....?" If the reader has read all three previous books, the characters are old friends. As friendships develop we learn more about our friends, we understand more, and we care a great deal more. In this book we deepen our friendships with Harry, ron and Hermione. We accept their character qualities, both strengths and weaknesses, and sincerely wish them well on their journey through this stage of their lives. The characters are drawn with much more detail than the earlier, younger books. The plot action is very intricate and yes, I will need to re-read this book next week to savor the details. The setting is magnificent. How wizards with great abilities co-exist in a world with mere muggles is the stuff of enchantment. Suspending disbelief enough to accept portkeys, The World Quidditch Cup championship game, and the magical curriculum at Hogwarts is worth reading late into the night, and being sleepy at work the next morning. However, my young patients are impressed that I can discuss Harry Potter with them in detail. I only wish I had the wisdom of Professor Dumbledore.

Summary: perty dang good
Review: i love these books, they're one of the few books that have actually pulled me into the book so that its like i can see whats going on...like i'm actually feeling what the characters are feeling. its great to see these characters grow and change! okay, AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN SEE THAT RON AND HERMONIE LIKE EACH OTHER! nobody else has said anything about that! i think that would be so cute! anyways, this book didnt have to be as long as they made it, i mean, she could have cut a lot of it out, but hey it was still really good!

Summary: I can't wait for the fifth!
Review: J.K. Rowling has outdone herself this time. The 4th edition of the Harry Potter series is the greatest one yet. I began reading it as soon as I got it on Saturday morning and finished it the next morning. Even though this book is darker and much more frightening then the others in the series it leads the way for the next three novels. Everyone should read this book

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: NOT FOR NERVOUS KIDS!
Review: "Darker" is the word used to describe this volume. This means it may well be inappropriate for younger readers. My daughter, age 9, who loved the first 3 volumes, is losing sleep over The Goblet of Fire.

Read it first. It's riveting, but not what I'd call a kid's book.

Summary: The Best Book Ever Written!
Review: I absolutely LOVED this book! I think it's the best harry Potter book out of the whole trilogy. From the Quidditch world cup to the Triwizard Tournament, from Mad-eye Moody to the appearance of You-Know-Who, from Rita Skeeter to Mr. Crouch and his son, this was a great book! Just because it was a 734 page book, that didn't stop me! (I read it in less than four days) Having to wait for this book really added suspence to the whole thing. I think that if you are a Harry Potter fan (or even if you aren't), then this is a definate must read! Come on, everybody, read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!

Summary: This Book is Awesome!
Review: I loved this book! It isn't my favorite yet of the Harry Potterseries, but it is still very worth reading! It's amazing howJ.K. Rowling can keep this 735 page book interesting, but she sure does. I don't know if I can wait another year for the next book!
