Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Awesome! Review: I'm a 9 year old and just finished the book in 3 days. It was really good and I couldn't put it down. It's rather scary in some parts. In this book, Harry accidentally gets entered into a tri-wizard tournament. He is supposed to be too young but was entered anyway. He faces three tasks that are very challenging and deadly. I won't tell you what happens but be sure to know that Harry survives to star in the 5th book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: From the Get Go Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is highly recommended. I'm definitely not an avid reader, as a matter a fact I don't read any book at all! I've always heard of the Harry Potter books, but never thought anything of it. The hype around this fourth book was sooooo huge, that I just had to see what everyone was talking about. I bought the book and after just two pages I was hooked! This has been the only book that I have ever wanted to finished, and I can't stop reading! If I can get hooked then so could you. 10 stars would have been more like it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I can't believe it Review: I would give this book 10 stars if I could. I didn't think she could do it, but J.K. Rowling surpassed the Prisoner of Azkaban tenfold. I read the entire book within 24 hours of recieving it-I just can't begin to say how good it is. This series won't consist of kid's books anymore-Harry's magical world has darkened. People are dying, and they're people we got to know, not just memories. There is an intensely emotional quality in the fourth book that wasn't present in the other three, and for the first time, when the book ends things are not completely okay. Since there is nothing left to say that hasn't been said or that would give plotlines away, I can only say that this book is my absolute favorite.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: All right, I'm 29, childless and I'm still hooked! Review: These are great books for children AND for adults. Harry Potter is a classic hero -- brave, chivalrous and modest. The author seems to be giving us the education of a modern day wizard/knight in this series. I'm looking forward to the adult Harry. I think I'll like him very much and that he's destined to be a hero for more than what happened to him as a baby. I also liked the further character development of friend Ron, who understandably wants to be more than Harry's sidekick, and Hermione, a brainy heroine with a social conscience who still gets the guy. The books are getting darker, but kids are capable of understanding that a battle between good and evil will result in some casualties. The death in this book was necessary.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Too daunting for the under 15 set. Review: I was shocked and dismayed at the ending of this book. I think the content and message for those children under 15 will be too difficult for them to take until the next book comes out. I am 38, and I'm not sure that I will be able to take it. In a world where children have to deal with so many burdens, this books leaves children thinking, "How on earth can Harry Potter deal with this?". The things that J.K. leaves Harry responsible for are just too difficult for the younger set to deal with. These books work because they follow the formula -- one where the book ends upbeat. This one was very very distressing. Also, J.K. Rowling's use of unusual names makes it difficult to read the book out loud to anyone. She should include an appendix that has the pronunciations. Who would have thought that was how you pronounced Hermione's name? Now I'm self conscience whenever I read it to my son.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Potter (and J.K. Rowling) Makes Headlines Again Review: Ever wonder why all the fuss about Harry Potter? If you do you haven't been reading the Harry Potter series. Author J.K. Rowling has hit on something very special...a character that everyone, but most especially boys, really care about. Harry is a good hearted, unspoiled, brave boy who has the resilience to bounce back when his friends (sometimes his best friends) turn their backs on him. Harry meets the evil Voldemort once again in book four with chilling results. This is a book for a more mature audience; as Harry grows up, so has the content level. As an adult I can tell you I love them all, but especially Harry Potter IV!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great read! Review: As an adult, I was at first hesitant to read the Harry Potter series. Afraid that the books couldn't possibly hold my interest long enough to complete the series. I have four children, and I bought the first three books as a Christmas gift. During a period of heavy snows I(at least for NJ) my husband read them, and recommended that I read them. Fantastic! I went to school with all of these people, I had these teachers. It is very real. JK Rowlings prose is amazing, and as an ex-English major, I would recommend these books to anyone!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I love Harry Potter! Review: This book is the most wonderful book I have ever read, apart from the other Harry Potter books of course! Voldemort was more frighting than ever, Harry more brave than ever, and Snape more mean than ever! I loved it and I hope you will too.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It was REALLY good! Review: I thought it was the best out of all of them especially since he's fourteen, i can't wait for him to get older! The bummer is that Fred and George leave next year, their my favoite characters! I kinda think the ending was a little weird but knowing the author, the whole thing will reveal itself within time! Hope you can enjoy this book as much as i did!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Pageturner Potter! Review: Picked it up at midnight the 8th, finished it by midnight the 9th! To my and many other readers delight, JK Rowlings added 400 more pages than usual of our favorite characters! This book is crammed into its 700 pages. Action, adventure, fantasy and even a tidbit of comedy and romance (don't worry young readers, nothing mushy) are all creatively included in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Harry, Ron, and Hermione make you want to jump into the pages and battle all types of evil, from schoolboy bullies to terrible world wide criminal masterminds. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is one read you do not want to miss!
