Summary: Another Vivid Magical World
Review: This book was awesome! Better than others with it's danger that pulls you in. With it's great descriptions and the amount of imagination you possess this book seems real.

Summary: Great Book
Review: I give this book five stars for the first 600 or so pages. This section of the book starts off with mysterious evil and encompasses both great humor and amazing devices like the Weasleys' practical clock and the thought-retaining pensieve. It also does a masterful job of setting up the last hundred or so pages. This is where the action takes a frantic pace and even Ms. Trelawney couldn't predict (like she could anyway) what will happen next. We also get to a lot of excellent characterization and plot development in this awesome fourth novel by JK Rowling. One of my favorite elements was getting to see the contrast between Harry's realization that Dumbledore is getting old and the power and influence that the headmaster still wields when he needs to asset his authority.

First ~600 pages: 5 stars After that: 10 stars

The countdown is on to Book #5 !

Summary: Harry Potter: My Thoughts
Review: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire was a good book, although i don't think it was as good as any of the previous Harry Potter books. The book focuses a lot on Harry's relationships with his friends and teachers, and it didn't really get exciting until near the end.

In this year at Hogwarts school of magic, Harry faces the many new experiences, including the Triwizard Cup, The Yule Ball, and a lot of new characters. J. K. Rowlings' excellent sense of words and dialogue make the book a pleasant and fun read.

Summary: Earns a seat at the "Rountable" of great fantasy literature
Review: I am 28 years old, and I enjoyed the first three Harry Potter books immensely; this installment is no exception. Goblet of Fire takes the themes and subplots that have been building and brings them to a head. Previous reviews describing this as the pivotal book in the series are not exaggerated. While the entire story is good, in the last 200 pages or so Rowling ties together all the strings and effectively sets up what will surely be a dramatic struggle in the books to follow. The themes in Goblet of Fire are universal: friendship, family, trust, loyalty, betrayal. In it's own way, this series is a worthy heir to Tolkein's Lord of the Rings or Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series.

Summary: Greatest Book Ever.
Review: This book has the potential of being the Greatest book ever. I read the book everyday after work. I think that The Goblet of Fire is my all time favorite so far in the series. The non-stop action and adventure kept my eves glued to the pages, when I finished I was wanting 200 or more pages. I did not want the book to end. I am telling all my friends!. You can not enjoy reading any more than reading the stories about Harry Potter and all his friends. I can not wait for Book 5! .

Summary: Harry Potter: Better By The Book
Review: This was the best book of all of them. It wasn't too exciting when the book began, but then it got so interesting. It seemed after a while that she went off of the subject of Lord Volemort (He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named) and focused on a tornament that would disclude this book form all seven, but then she made that apart of Lord Voldemort. If you are wondering what i am talking about there not being much Lord Voldemort until a while, I'm discluding the first chapter which had alot of him, but then it started to drift off of him as I got further into the book. The rumors about there being a death into the book, are true. She takes you by suprise when the very second of glory turns deadly. Many of your favorite characters are back including Sirius Black, Dobby, Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew or Scabbars), One character goes to visit Professor Lupin, but He is not with the returned characters.

Summary: Splendid
Review: This book was amazing. I couldn't put it down. I was finished within a couple of hours. I was realy under JK Rowlings spell once I started reading. Harry and his friends are older and more mature now, so the atmosphere changed quite a bit in the book. I couldn't put it down, because of everything going on in the book, every event, every conversation had a clue or something that they would mention then come back to it and leave it on and off and so on. It's like piecing a puzzle together, and then you're missing a few pieces. At the end, it's almost as if you find the missing pieces and it all works out... it all makes sense. Brilliant. I can't wait for number five to come. I want to see what Voldemort will do with power. Goblet of Fire is the most wonderful, breathtaking, upsetting book yet.

Summary: Great book
Review: At first the book was funny, about Harry blowing up his auntand others, then afterwards it got more and more exciting. Of course,I still had some laughs now and then in the middle of the book, but at the end I was terrified but happy at the thought of Harry getting back safely(Well, not that safely, but quite). I really hope to see what other exciting books J.K.Rowling will write about Harry Potter.

Summary: Potter for all ages
Review: Well I am one of the older Potter fans. What really amazes me about this series is that it is universal, all ages can enjoy it. Though I do admit when first suggested to read this series I was cynical about whether I would like it. I did though! I read all of the first three in a week rushing to the book store to purchase them. I just couldn't put them down. Of course like the rest of the Potter fans I was eagerly awaiting the newest of the books. I loved it!I did notice that this one was a great deal darker. The only sadness in finishing this volume was realizing that I most wait until the next one comes out.
