Summary: Scooby Doo
Review: Remember how in Scooby Doo episodes there was all this running around and then some guy would show up and explain everything that had happened at the end of the show. Harry Potter is getting like that. It would be nice to figure things out along the way instead of coming up with implausible twists that only can be explained in retropect.

Summary: More of a collector's item
Review: I think the story was too long to maintain the same level of suspense as in previous books (possibly because her fans had rushed J.K.Rowling a bit?). The plot is not as tight as that in previous books and at points, the story turns into a meandering ramble about Harry's and his friends' lives; their crushes, their histories, a party...

Nonetheless, it has some really interesting new characters and some very inventive ideas about the the magical world (veela are hysterical). I consequently stayed up until 1a.m. to finish reading it. Basically, if you're a fan, buy the book so you're up-to-date on Harry's life. If you haven't read J.K.Rowling's books before, read book 1 or 2 before you attempt this one.

Summary: harry potter and the goblet of fire
Review: What a great book Rowling has continued to grow in her work this book included some great comedy as well as the darker issues I could not put it down. If you liked the other Potter books this is great if you have not read any potter books this is still good but a little confusing read the other books first. Can't wait for book 5

Summary: NOT THE BEST OF THE FOUR
Review: Even though the fourth Harry Potter book was a good book, in my opinion, it wasn't the best out of the four. I didn't like how a character died, even though I knew it would be coming. I also thought the first chapter was confusing, and even when I finished there are some parts I couldn't figure out. Book 3 was my favorite because it talked a lot about Harry's parents and how they died. Even so, I thought Book 4 was really good.

Summary: A Great Achievement
Review: Rowling was able to follow up "Prisoner of Azkaban" with a great novel that shows a different side of Harry Potter, Hagrid, and all other characters. It also introduces us to new characters, some from two other magic schools, and Lord Voldemort makes a return, and in the process does a brutal act, that has all characters, especially Harry, in despair and sadness. The new DADA (Defense Against The Dark Arts) teacher has a strange personality and persona, which makes this novel the best on my list. It is, however, sad and dark, especially at certain parts at the end, but the book is great nevertheless.

Summary: J. K. Rowling - Please Write Fast!
Review: Great tale! Rowling reaches out and grabs you in the first chapter, and doesn't even let go in the last one. Harry Potter and all the other wizards and muggles seem very real. Harry, when faced with a difficult decision, always seems to take the high road, although he does get in his share of trouble, which makes him seem pretty normal, for a wizard! I can't wait to see what will happen in Rowling's 5th story!

Summary: Ten out of five!
Review: If you could give more than five stars, I would be the first one to give ten. This book is absolutely wonderful! No wonder it sold millions of copies before it was even released. I've noticed each Harry Potter book gets better as it goes along. If you liked the other books, this one will blow you away! Once you start reading, you can't stop. I read it in less than two days. I wrapped it in plastic and dragged it along to swim practice. It was a good idea not to release it during the school year, as you could probably hear the shouts of teachers throughout the country, saying "put that book away" or "this is Math class, not a school of wizardry!" I couldn't possibly spoil the plot, but I will tell you that it will make you laugh histerically in some points, and if you're sappy like me, you will cry at others. The rest of it just helps to make this the best book I've ever read! If you think it's all hype, or are just not sure, read it! Even if you don't buy it, borrow it from a friend. And once you've gotten past the first chapter and realize you need to have your own copy, proceed to your nearest bookstore, or Amazon.com and ORDER NOW! It may be darker than the others, it may be huge and long, it may sound boring, but once you are lost in the story, and somehow come backt ot he real world, you can't help but wish it was longer than its impressive 734 pages. Go for it. You'll enjoy reading about Harry's crush or Hagrid's creatures. I loved it, and I hope you do too!

Summary: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire
Review: J.K. Rowling has done it again! The Goblet of Fire had me spellbound. I couldn't put it down until I had finished reading every page. I was laughing so had that my sides hurt with Fred and George's inventions; scared to turn out the lights becaue of "You-Know-Who"'s reappearance and crying my heart out as Harry mourns. (Dare I admit that I'm 43 years old? I would have finished reading sooner, but I was reading it aloud to my 3 children, who sat still for 3 long days!) Who needs a rollercoaster ride when Harry Potter is here?
