Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wow! Review: I really enjoyed the previous books in the series. I was given the set as a gift. I eagerly awaited the arrival of this one in my mailbox -- and was most grateful that Amazon fed-exed it to me on the release date. I was thrilled with the size -- it's huge. The story is wonderful. The characters grow more. I'm recommending it to everyone! Can't wait to read these books to my kids when they are old enough!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Wonderful but different than the first three Review: I, like everyone else, has eagerly anticipated the arrival of the fourth Potter book. And I was not disapointed. The book is full of magical vivid imagery, parts that make you gasp out loud, and puns and jokes that amuse the many adults who read the books. The only problem I had with the book was the shifting tone. It seemed that the climax of the book came so rapidly and then boom, the reader is left with 50 pages of decending action that leave a person feeling somewhat unsatisfied. Rowlings previous Potter books seemed to ease their way into the dangerous climax; whereas this one slapped you in the face with it. Still, the book was a wonder, keeping me enthralled and amused, and sometimes really scared. I am not ashamed to admit that when I finished the book, I had to sleep with the light on
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderful Review: The fourth book in the Harry Potter continues in the same vein as its predecessors: exciting, colorful, suspenseful, and satisfying. What a wonderful gift the author has, and what satisfying literature this is. Even at over 700 pages, it is still too short.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Can you get any better than this? Review: Wow! This book is making alot of press and I can see why! This is the best book of the series! I read this in less than a week! In this book Harry goes to the Quiditch World Cup. But something goes terribly wrong. But Harry has to go back to Hogwarts, where they embark on the Triwizard Tournament. There is only suppose to be 3 champions, one from each school. But now theres 2 from Hogwarts. And you guessed who was the 4th...Harry! Now Harry has to go through 3 tasks before getting the glory. But who put his name in there? I'm really glad Sirus is back in the book! But while all this happens Harry finds revealing secerets about Ludo Bagman, Crouch, Snape, and even Hagrid...my favorite character! Hermoine almosts gets a boyfriend. But hey, Ms. Rowling, could you have Ron and Hermoine together? I mean he was jealous that she was going with someone. I've known from the second book that they should get together. I hope they do in the 5th, but the book doesn't turn out to be another soap opera! I really loved this book! Everyone should read it and I think you will love it too! Go Harry!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Warning - Read this book before your children do Review: My wife and I have read and loved the Harry Potter books since they first came out. The tone of Goblet is much darker than the previous books, and it crosses the line from adventure to horror story. Parents should read the book and decide for themselves if it is appropriate for their children. I personally feel that some of the scenes are too horrific for a pre-teen. Don't be surprised if this book induces nightmares in younger readers.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Wonderful Book for all Ages Review: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is an awesome book no matter how old you are. I'm 12, and my parents and sister all liked it. It is an amazing book, and once you pick it up you won't be able to put it back down again! (I would recommend reading the first 3 Harry Potter books before this one, though, so you can fully understand it. But don't worry, they are all excellent, too.) Please, give this book a chance. You will not be dissapointed!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I give it six out of five stars Review: With 734 pages you can't go wrong and this book was not longer than it had to be. In this book Harry is headed to the Quidditch World Cup. The Weasleys have managed to get prime seats for this excellent game. At the World Cup though Harry Sees the Dark Mark (The Sign Of Lord Voledemort) He also sees Bad Death Eaters. After that someone puts his name into the Goblet Of Fire. Why do these mysterious things happen to harry? read to find out.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Oh, my... Review: To date these stories have been amusing, full of clever wordplay, and elegantly composed, but this long fourth story unexpectedly breaks into ferocious seriousness. It scared the bejeebers out of me. After a leisurely buildup "...this isn't Kansas anymore," wrapped in stunning Technicolor glory and fear. This is far more terrifying than old fairy tale violence, for we've come to love these people. I suspect it will be hellishly difficult for readers to find wonderful humour in the next couple of books. Meanwhile, the wait for #5 will be excruciating.
