Summary: A Piece of Magnificent Storytelling and Imagination
Review: I have been a fan of the series for quite some time now and I feel I should tell everyone who reads this that this book is essential to the plot. With it's great descriptions and the grand storytelling of J.K.Rowling this book comes to life in front of your eyes. It makes you want to stay up all night to finish it. I can only tell you that you would very pleased to take a little time out of your busy schedule to read these books.

Summary: Exciting, creepy, and sad all in one book
Review: I was so excited when I got this book. I started reading it and finished it it one and a half days. It has many mixed emotions. It also has the potensial of a mystery. If you like mystery and danger, this book is for you. It is very suspensing and surprising.

Summary: This book is too cool for words or stars
Review: This is the best Harry Potter book yet. It is very exciting, fascinating, and appealing to older and younger readers. It is long enough to keep you busy but it never gets boring. You will not want to put it down.

Summary: What's all the hubbub, bub?
Review: I don't see what is so special about this Harry Potter book. Dry British humour and weird names just didn't do it for me. I'd skip this if I were you.

Summary: She's Done It Again
Review: With Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, JK Rowling has delivered a feast for the true Harry Potter fan. Once again, as in her previous books, the author draws the reader in on the first page, keeping him under her spell through the volume's 37 chapters.

This book further chronicles the life of boy-wizard Harry Potter, who attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and often finds himself in...situations. As Harry continues his fourth year at the school, he becomes involved in the Triwizard Tournament, goes on his first date, and meets other young wizards from around the world. In this book, as in the previous three, Rowling fills in the gaps of Harry's knowledge (and the reader's)of his past, but leaves us in enough suspense to wonder what could possibly happen next...

This book cetainly exceeded my expectations, which were already high. With the other books being as great as they were, it was hard for me to believe the author could outdo herself. The sheer size of the book is a treat in itself, although the real treasure lies inside its covers. Having learned from experience, my fiance and I purchased two copies, ensuring no fights would ensue over who got to read it first.

One can only hope that Rowling has enough house elves to help her with her daily chores such as cooking and cleaning...anything to keep her writing, so book five will arrive that much faster!

Summary: Seems as if everything leads up to this
Review: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire seems to be the pivotalchapter of the Harry Potter series. It seems that evrything in theprevious 3 books leads up to the conlusion of book 4. I will not reveal the conclusion, but it seems JK Roling has now set up the plot for the next 3 books. She has also hinted that the next 3 will be darker, and judging from this one, I believe her. I am 14 years old and I love the Harry Potter series. I love the characters and atmosphere of the novels. I hope they each get longer as I savor each one, and each ending leaves me craving for more. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire fleshes out the chatacters even more and they mature beautifuly. I could relate to their emotions and situationd, being as I am the same age as the characters are depicted. I espcially like the premise of the crushes among the students and the Yule Ball chapter was brilliant. I am surprised JK Rowling isn't 14. All in all, Harry Potter and the Goblet if Fire is the best in the series yet (though it didn't have the amazing twist ending of book 3) and I hope it continues in the darker directions the ending hints at. (Parents with younger children beware, this is a MUCH more mature book then the previous ones, and deals with mature themes as racism, fascism, genocide, tabloids, politics, boyfriends/girlfirends, and murder. Though these themes are presented in a way of showing what is right and wrong, some of the darker scenes may firghten young children. I suggest any parent who is considering buying the book for a child under the age of 8 or 9 read the first chapter before making a decision. The first 3 are A-ok though) END

Summary: J.K. Rowling Scores Again With Another Huge Hit!
Review: Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire was an excellent book. It had much to live up to with the attention it got from the media, and it surpassed all expectations. I was definetly impressed with the writing in this book, right from the beginning you are hooked! The Quidditch World cup is brilliantly described and is where the danger begins for our favorite hero. After surviving the rather unusual events that followed the match, Harry returns to Hogwarts for his fourth year. Dumbledore springs a surprise upon the students with an announcement which turns Harry's world upside down for the school year (I will not reveal what the announcement is, you'll have to read it to find that out!). Over the following semesters Harry plunges into more danger, and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named(Voldemort) awaits his chance to rise again. The ending to this book is full of excitement, and leaves you aching for the next book. Also in this book, we find Harry a little more grown up, and discover his feelings for a particular Hogwarts student. For those who have not read Harry Potter before, I suggest you start. Fans of the first three Harry Potter books will be impressed with this new and very exciting installment in the already popular series.

Summary: Great Book - Really exciting
Review: I had work the weekend that the book came out. I finished it in less than two days. It was that good. J. K. Rowlings has created an unbelievable world around Harry Potter, and I can't wait until book 5 is out.

Summary: The Best of Harry
Review: This is the best (and longest) Harry Potter book yet. They get better and longer as the series progresses, and I'm sure I shan't be the only one in tears after the release of the seventh book. This book felt different from the other three somehow...also less complete because (WARNING: all you slow readers who have not yet finished it, don't read the major spoiler to come) a more-powerful-than-ever Voldemort was still at large by the end of the book. My favorite part was when Malfoy got turned into a ferret-THAT was interesting! Heh heh heh (:::grins evilly:::). The end was more shocking than that of "Prisoner of Azkaban"!. It took me just under eight hours to read this latest installment-starting just after midnight, stopping only to pour more cherry seven up...and I'm serious about that. The house could have burned down and I'd have yelled at the fire for stopping me in the middle of this riveting read. If my room had flooded, my glare would have evaporated the water getting my book wet...but enough about that. Does anyone know of someone in Pacific time who finished the book before like 7:55 or 7:58 AM on the release date? E-mail me if you do- sailorgirl615@sailormoon.com

Summary: Another Rowling Triumph
Review: A longer, better, stronger, at least as fun, Harry Potter book, with more excitement, another puzzle, and a little more revelation fo why Harry is so special in the world of magic. Voldemort himself makes a much stronger appearance in this book than he has before, and his battle with Harry is as tense to read as Harry's bit of trouble with the basilisk in the "Chamber of Secrets". Harry, Ron, Hermione and friends seem to be growing up a little quicker than they ought with the timing of the books ~ in fact, one of the few complaints i had about "Goblet" is that Harry seems to vary in age from thirteen to fifteen, in rather uncertain fashion, within the single year the book encompasses. Certainly the preoccupations of teenage years, most especially the opposite gender, have taken a more prominent position in this book than previously. Once again, Rowling's characters are, within their world, entirely believable in their actions and reactions, both as predictable and unpredictable as real people, and this is, for me, the truest test of a book. Unlike many other fads and must-haves ~ Pokémon springs to mind ~ the latest Harry Potter book is worth all the kerfuffle and fuss it has caused.
