Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: spellbinding Review: This phenomenon of a book justifies all the hype that led up to the release. Yet... if there is one sour note to be sung amidst all the song and dance accompanying Rowling's latest installment, it is this (if you haven't read the book yet, desist in reading this review): From a literary standpoint, the use of certain wizarding tricks (polyjuice potion chief among them) as vehicles for plot development is tantamount to a deus ex machina and contributes to a fraying of the narrative fibre of the book. Rowling would do well to "dial down" the fantastic level of twists, turns and surprises that occur at the (exciting) finales of here novels.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Ms. Rowling has done it again! Review: I am a thirty-four year old woman who could not wait to get home from work every night to read the next chapter in Rowling's fourth installment, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." I never could figure out what was going to happen next or how the book would end. The story was full of plot twists and turns that the reader just doesn't expect. I also enjoyed how Rowling continued to develop and mature her main characters, such as Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the gang of unique instructors at Hogwarts. The main characters in this book are all three years older now, than when Rowling wrote her first Harry Potter book, and she has seen to it that her characters have grown socially, intellectually, and magically! I would recommend this book to anyone, young or old. It is full of mystery, suspense, humor and sadness. It will keep you on the edge of your seat long into the wee hours of the morning! I couldn't stop reading until I had finished it, and what a surprise ending it had! My only regret is now I'll have to wait another year for book number five to come out!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Best Book of the Series Review: This book is an example of how imaginative someone can be. If a parent or someone out there think this is the worst thing for your child to read you are wrong it is one of the best books and series I have read. I may only be 12 but I have alot to say. Harry Potter is not bad it is one of the Best BOOKS AND BOOK SERIES I have ever read. My parents read it. So ask yourself do you think that a book, a FICTION BOOK is bad for your child?
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The best! Review: This is the best Harry Potter written so far! There is just one problem with this book: Once you pick it up, you can't put it down!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (book 4) Review: I could have jumped for joy on July 8th 2000 (the date Harry Potter 4 was released all around the world) I bought the book the day after (July 9th) and finished it in less than 7 hours and enjoyed every second of it. It was better than the first 3 put together. Harry gets up to his usual tricks (fighting dragons, getting detention, doing something out of the ordinary, etc.)but this book is different it has only a few different topics happening but J.K Rowling puts alot of description ,adventure and excitement into each chapter and never in the entire story do you lose the storyline and whenever the excitement start to drop Ms.Rowling puts something in to perk it up again. I think this is a brilliant book for everyone and I would like to say to Ms.Rowling : Well Done! on a fantastic new book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter Scores Again! Review: A classic series is in the making. Having read the first three books of this outstanding series, I was holding my breath waiting for the fourth installment.. The odds seemed to be against Rowlings scoring a coup again, but she has outdone herself. HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE is as worthy or praise, as interesting, funny, and intriguing as any of the first three books. As a 54 year old mother, grandmother, and special education teacher, I can attest to "Harry Potter's" across-the-age spectrum appeal. I own all the books but the first (a situation which I will soon remedy), and heartily recommend the series to all who appreciate an outstanding "read!"
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Linda's Review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Review: I had read the other 3 Harry Potter books and enjoyed them thoroughly, but the 4th was definately my favorite. It has great plots and an ending that leaves you wanting for more, much more. Don't be fooled by the amount of pages because you just zip through this book in no time at all. I can't wait for the 5th book!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: I agree with Mike Farris! Review: I am in an adult reading program and I write reviews for the books I read. I felt guilty saying I found The Goblet of Fire to be a drag with a few high points. Then I read Mike Farris' review and got over the guilt. The Triwizard Tournament was built up to be such a big deal and yet left me thinking, "Whatever." And I missed the colorful use of language and double entendres from the earlier books. Nonetheless I will read all the rest to come.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Harry Potter = Happy Reader Review: This book is the greatest of the series! I can't wait to read the next 5,6,and 7! Every harry potter fan should read it. However if you have just started reading harry potter, I recommend that you read the first 3 before this. If you think that this book is anti christian or if you think that it makes fun of religion, than you are very wrong. I am an 11 year old kid from St. Petersburg, Fl and before I started to read the Harry Potter books, I hardley read any books. In this book, harry wakes up with his scar hurting one night after haveing a dream about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. He sends an owel to Sirius Black (his godfather). That very day, Harry receives an owel from Ron inviting to come to the Quittage world cup with him. Uncle Vernin reluctantly accepts. Harry goes to the mach between Ireland and Bulgaria. Ireland wins, but later that night they wake up hearing marching Death Eaters (the dark loards followers) rioting. Harry, ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, and Goerge flee while Mr. Weasly, Bill, and charlie fight off the death eaters. Later they see the Dark Mark (a symbol that the dark loard conjouin after a murder). You'll have to read more to mind out more, but one thing you should know is; The Dark Loard, he-who-must-not-be-named, Loard Voldimort, Comes back to Power!
