Summary: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Review: I am a mother of 3, and the whole family eagerly awaited this book. We were not disappointed. The plot is much darker than the first three books, but it still has the wonderful theme of good over evil. The suspense kept me reading one chapter after another, until I completed the whole book in one day. Of course, my family was quite upset that I wouldn't divulge the ending, but in the end, they enjoyed hearing it at story time each evening. We are on the edge of our seats waiting to see what happens next. I believe that those who want to ban these books, are out of line. It does not promote evil. On the contrary, it shows children making decisions between right and wrong, and using tools given to them by family and teachers. Keep up the great work, JK Rowling!

Review: I thought this book was really great. I reckon it's not quite as good as the other three but I've only read it once, and you pick up different things when you read it more than once I think

Summary: Best Book I've Ever Read
Review: My name is Callie and I am ten years old. I have just finished reading "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". It is a really wonderful book about a fourteen year old boy. Harry lives with his mean aunt and uncle because his parents died because of a dark wizard named Voldemort. Harry has a scar from Voldemort but it is not that bad. I liked this book better than all the other books of Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. This is really a long book but if you are looking for a good book, I would recommend "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".

Summary: Absolutely Awesome!
Review: J.K. Rowling did not disappoint. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is every bit as captivating as its predecessors. This 32 year old mom could not put it down and stayed up half the night to finish it. I can't wait for the fifth installment!

Summary: Wonderful Book-- Met expectations
Review: Being a Harry Potter fan, I thought this book met, maybe even went higher than, my expectations. I think the long wait for the fourth book was definitely worth it, and if any Harry Potter fan doesn't yet have it, they should definitely get it. It was well-written, and the story is catching. Terrific book!

Summary: darker and better than the first three
Review: rowling has managed to use book four to move this series from an enjoyable enid-blyton-meets-roald-dahl school romp to a tale with its own distinctive voice and a much greater moral vision. harry potter now qualifies as a fairy tale: a story with archetypal resonances that move it beyond just being a fun read.

"goblet" is darker and better than the others--i'm excited to read rowlings' next installment.

Summary: She did it again!
Review: As a 3rd grade teacher, I have to say that this one is a little more sophisticated than my students could handle, but in a couple of years they'll be ready! Iti is wonderful how Ms Rowling has improved the story with a new storyline that varies from the first three. Harry seems much more trusting of adults (or dogs!) and he makes choices that are not self-destructive. He is a magical boy--but he is a boy any kid can look to as a role model, for his bravery and kindness. I have watched my students get excited over this series like I've never seen before. It is so rewarding to see this from a book and not a video game! Way to go J.K. and way to go Harry!

Summary: Rowling Touches the Untouchable
Review: I'm sure if you've already read the curiously amazing HarryPotter series, you do not need a mere review to assure you that theseare possibly the most exhilarating books out there. But something you might not be aware of is how the fourth book has added, if possible, even more magic to the series. You might say that every possible idea from your childhood imagination is included in The Goblet of Fire. I was worried that perhaps it would be hard for even the great J.K. Rowling to write another book even nearly as good as the first three, but to my delight, that is out of the question. I think Rowling has made a statement that she is maturing as a writer, much like Harry, in the fourth book. After all, what novice writer could make 734 pages seem like a breeze, more or less convince her readers to read it again, (at least I did!) I am truly sincere and honest when I say that you will make a huge mistake and will be missing out on so much if you don't read the latest addition to the series!

Summary: Harry Potter
Review: Harry Potter rocks! The 4th book was awsome, although the 3rdis still my favorite. It seems that each Harry Potter book gets alittle bit more intense as the series goes on and this one certainly doesn't lack suspense and intensity! The ending chapters especially. The one thing that surprised me a bit was the swearing. I have absolutely no problem with people swearing....it just was strange to read the characters swearing, that's all. Besides that, the Goblet of Fire was excellent. A must read!
